CHILDE who always looks at you with those puppy-dog eyes, hoping to elicit a smile from you. He's always been a dork, even from when he first moved to your neighborhood. But he always seems like an even bigger one when he's with you, acting more of a goof than per usual.
CHILDE who memorises your favourite drink order whenever he takes you out. Who's thoughtful with birthday presents, but it's always cheesy, like a t-shirt with the words "talk nerdy to me", or a cute china mug that says "we go together like milk and cookies".
CHILDE who's normally brimming with confidence and suave, but becomes a blushing schoolboy when you're not paying attention. A small smile graces his lips whenever he sees you happy, and his cheeks are a little flushed.
CHILDE who's aware yet unaware of how you admire him, the way the sunlight filters through his ginger locks, luminating his skin. He's got a little mole under his right eye, and the skin there crinkles whenever he smiles. His laugh can fill an entire room no matter how loud it is, and it's addictive to listen and join in.
CHILDE who has yet to make a proper move on you, because he thinks you deserve someone better than an unbearable flirt like him. CHILDE who gets you a cheesy poem for Valentines' Day with a bouquet of red camellias and pink tulips, because he knows roses aren't as unique and thoughtful since they're used so much.
CHILDE who stays over at your place occasionally, crashing on your couch. Who stays up with you binge-watching cheesy-romance movies, promptly followed afterwards with violent bloodbath movies. Who remembers to bring a bunch of snacks just in case your cupboards are bare. Sour watermelons, skittles, cookie-dough snickers, starbursts...
CHILDE who waits for the very last day of highschool to confess. Right after the graduating ceremony, after everyone receives their diplomas, he asks that you meet him on the outside gates of the school. He's carrying his diploma under his arm, and though he's not sure what your response may be, he's grinning like a fool.
CHILDE who's borderline blushing as he gets the words out. "I like you, [Y/N]. I've always had. Hell, I'd even go so far as to say I'm in love with you. And...I might be wrong, but...I think you might love me a little too."
CHILDE who wraps you up in a warm embrace, bringing you up so his forehead rests against yours. His breath is hot against your cheeks, and at this angle, he can see that if you moved your hand just a little bit over...
CHILDE who's eyes widen as your lips brush against his, before pressing themselves firmly against his own. "I'll take that as a yes you'll go out with me?" He asks with that stupid smirk of his, though the flush staining his cheeks tell a completely different story. It's not often to see him be so embarrassed. Better bask in this as much as you can.

so. i'm bored. summer has been uneventful, and quite frankly, i am procrastinating just a bit on better late than never and the silent voice au.
so that being said, here's a lil ask game to help w/my writer's block. i'm bringing back the 💍 ask game, but this time, it'll be about how your favorite character proposes to you. it'll probably be a minimum of 500-ish words for each person since i don't wanna go overboard on one person, but blank on the next.
some things to note:
i write for genshin impact and i don't write for minor characters, even if its just romantic and soft/fluffy interactions. characters considered minors include (but aren't limited to): bennett, xingqiu, chongyun, xiangling, the chibi gang, etc. a few examples of characters i will write for: childe, zhongli, al-haitham, kaveh, etc.
i do not write for enjou, nor do i write for any NPCs (non-playable characters), dottore, pantalone, dainsleif, and a few of the teased fontaine characters being an exception.
first come, first serve. that means whoever sent in their ask first, will most likely get theirs done first.
please have relatively easy-to-understand grammar. if english is not your first language, or you just feel lazy, just, be polite, be specific and clear, and don't ask for characters i said i won't write for.
things to have ready before entering my inbox: you must list at least 3 of your KEY personality traits. if you don't know, ask a friend/family member and get their opinion, or use your own judgement, i don't really care, so long as you don't forget this. you may only pick ONE character at a time. this ask game will be open for a while, unless i get flooded, so please note that should there be another character you want to req for, don't be shy, send in another ask. please include your gender (female or just gender-neutral), and a name/nickname you'd like to be addressed as. this is beginning to sound more than just 500 words, people...
i don't write for male readers, sorry. only for female or gender-neutral readers (using respective pronouns). i mainly ever write about male characters as i have a hard time digesting female personalities in genshin (not to mention a certain sumeru dancer who has a nonexistent personality), but that all depends on YOU.
