Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn are set to co-star in a movie about police brutality.
Titled Dragged Across Concrete, the film will see the two stars playing “cops who are suspended when a video of their strong-arm tactics gets wide attention,” according to Variety. Then they decide to take revenge among criminals.
The two noted Hollywood conservatives feel like odd choices for a nuanced take on police brutality, to say the least.

So this woman who's being praised expected Boy Scouts? These girls have every right to be there as much as those boys do! Just because a woman hasn't been president YET doesn't mean we have no input.
wtf girl scouts.
Yesterday ABC News announced the Girl Scouts would be marching in the inaugural parade. The wonderful Jessica Luther called them out, and their response was…underwhelming.
The Girl Scouts mean…so much to me. I am a lifetime member and have been active in scouting since kindergarten, 25+ years. I was troop and district cookie high seller multiple years, I’ve ridden in parades, I volunteered thousands of hours and worked multiple summers for them. I’ve been so proud recently in their progressive inclusive policies, especially in contrast to the Boy Scouts of America, who still don’t allow gay men to be active in troops and don’t allow transgender children to join.
So I wrote to GSUSA via their web contact form. If you want to use/be inspired by my letter, feel free.
Please help me tell the Girl Scouts that marching for this travesty of an inauguration is beyond the pale.
