Those Holiday Hallmark movies... but Steddie 🍦🦇

This was thanks to the STBMIG server's beautiful people and a challenge to do one of those lovely movies, right?

(I personally will use #HallmarkSteddie just for the funsies)

Take it as a base, you don't have to follow it all

The first two squares belong to the ARRIVES TO THE TOWN character. Ex. Steve arrives and is a recent single teacher

I didn't change the "some guy" thing, take it as you wish! can be like literally just a normal dude, or give them a nice job idk they just exist in this tow and will kiss each other

Robin didn't cry when she had to tell the Harringtons that their son was dead. She didn't cry when they asked her to make a speech at his funeral because she was his best friend.

Robin didn't cry when they lowered him into the ground. She didn't cry when she held Dustin while he cried. She didn't cry when she comforted the rest of the group. She didn't cry when she saw his parents fake crying over their son.

Robin didn't cry as she went home and went to her room. She didn't shed a tear when she finally opened the box of some of Steve's belongings that she kept.

Robin didn't cry as she took out Steve's favorite sweater and put it on. She didn't cry as she laid in her bed. She didn't cry as she remember how Steve got the sweater, the thrifting incident when she forced Steve to go thrifting with her and she saw the bright yellow sweater and bought it for him. She didn't cry as she remembered Steve buying her lunch after shopping and them laughing until they couldn't breathe and their stomachs hurt.

Not until that moment did Robin cry. She sobbed into the emptiness of her room, the emptiness that her best friend, her platonic soulmate, could only fill.

Italian Steve Harrington hcs because why not:

He was born in Italy (ovbisouly) but moved to hawkins when he was around 10 or 11.

He speaks fluent Italian, it's his first language, which is why he asks what certain words mean so much. He's still expanding his English vocabulary.

He always writes his notes in Italian, he was forced to stop writing in Italian at school but after he graduated he started again. Robin keeps trying to read his little notes but she doesn't know Italian yet. (He has a journal that's in Italian because he knows Robin keeps trying to read it)

He teaches Robin Italian because she wanted to learn. Mainly so she could understand what he mumbles.

When he's stressed, scared, or angry he'll start rambling/yelling in Italian. No one understands him but Eddie always gets him to calm down. Robin does too but for some reason Eddie does it the best. Unless he's arguing then he has to be reminded to speak English.

He's an amazing cook, everything he makes is good. Steve tries his best to introduce everyone to certain Italian dishes.

He has several of his grandma's old cook books.

During the holidays his parents force him to fly out to Italy to see the rest of his family. After the age of 13, his parents are already there waiting for him.

He insults people in Italian so they don't understand him. Dustin, Mike, and Robin are normally the victims.

Sometimes he'll just switch into Italian and has to be reminded to speak English.

He loved living in Italy but refuses to move back because all of his friends (family) that matter live in Hawkins.

hmmm.. i wanna point out my most favourite things about them (you know who by now) whilst i was watching the movie. so, i guess i'm gonna go ahead and do that now lmao.

• when spike laughs at them, makes fun of luigi and throws a napkin at him, only for mario to catch it midair, say 'say that again about my brother and you're gonna regret it' (EVEN HIS PUPILS DILATE AS HE SAYS IT) and throw it back at him?

• mario putting his arm out to shield luigi in case spike tries to hurt him.

• their shared excitement over their first job!! their excited lil' hug!!

• their handshake when they repair the pipe!!

• mario putting his arm out to shield luigi from francis (the couples' dog) in case he tries to hurt him.

• holding/shielding each other when francis prepares to pounce(???) on them.

• luigi calling out for mario because he's scared, mario catching up to him, taking his hand and reassuring his brother that nothing can hurt them as long as they're together and luigi's smile as a result.

• as soon as he arrives in the mushroom kingdom, mario's primary concern is to find his brother immediately. he wants to be there to make sure he's okay and he's so so worried about him.

• after toad tells him peach'll be able to help he makes a break for the castle. no getting distacted by the kingdom; he's so driven and determined to save his brother he almost seems to brush off everything else.

• the flashback luigi has when on the air balloon. that is all.

• luigi calling mario the best brother in the world?? absolutely roasting bowser despite being so afraid??

• luigi having faith mario'll come save him because he WILL.

• mario catching luigi from falling into the lava just in the nick of time.

• THE HUG SCENE. oh i'm gonna go into detail for this one..

• before they hug, they both take a minute to look at each other and realise that this is real and that they're reunited and then they HUG EACH OTHER SO TIGHT BECAUSE THEY'VE BEEN SEPARATED FOR SO LONG. they've missed each other and have been so so so worried about each other except mario moreso than luigi because he's protective and and A. he takes luigi's face in his hands so tenderly because he's here and they'll never be separated again and nothing can hurt them as long as they're together. THE FOREHEAD BONK IS SO GENTLE. luigi gives mario's sleeves a tug to make sure this is real and AJDISKFIA. THEY PULL EACH OTHER IN FOR ANOTHER HUG EVEN TIGHTER THAN THE LAST BECAUSE THEY KNOW THIS IS REAL NOW. they're together. and then when they pull back luigi very good-naturedly teases mario about the tanooki suit as brothers do and it just settles into normalness because.. they're, well, together again.

• LUIGI DEFENDING MARIO FROM BOWSER WITH A MANHOLE COVER. HE STEPS UP TO PROTECT MARIO THIS TIME INSTEAD OF IT BEING THE OTHER WAY AROUND AND I THINK THAT'S BEAUTIFUL. AND HE REMINDS MARIO THAT, 'nothing can hurt us, as long as we're together.' HE SAYS THE SAME THING MARIO SAID TO HIM BEFORE THEY GOT SEPARATED AND AND AKFKQKFKAO.

• mario taking his hand and they get the star together and KICK BOWSER'S FUCKING ASS LIKE HELL YES THAT'S MY BOYS.

• luigi handing mario a ready mug of coffee to start the day and them clinking their mugs together.

• their handshake again and luigi playfully poking mario!!

so, in conclusion, mario and luigi's relationship has officially taken over my life. they make me unwell and deceased, goodbye.

Eddie and Half-Italian Steve get together by mistake. It happens when the only things he knows in Italian are a few swear words and "I wanna fuck", but he wants to ask Steve to be his boyfriend.

He wants it to be special, so he asks Robin for help and she teaches him. Unfortunately, she needs practice with her pronunciation and Eddie has a terrible memory.

[after a dinner date, in the car]

Eddie: Steve I have to tell you something

Steve: ... sure what is it?

Eddie: sei li mio arazo (you are my tapestry)

Steve: *confused* could you repeat that?

Eddie: *frustrated* sei li mio garazo? (Are you my *nonexisting word*?)

Steve: *concerned* Eddie, are you okay?

Eddie: *in tears* si il mio gargarozo? (yes my gullet?)

Steve: *panicked* I have no idea- yes??

Eddie: *instantly calm* great!

It takes Steve three weeks to realize he had agreed to be Eddie’s boyfriend.

He doesn’t complain.

Yk those "bring a dish" parties ppl have? That but with Steve, Eddie, Robin, Nancy, Jonathan, and Argyle.

Steve brings the best dish. He's the only one who can really cook. It's an Italian dish and there is none left at the end of the night.

Eddie brings something burnt. No one knows what it is because it's fully black. Eddie can't cook at all.

Robin doesn't even try and brings drinks. She also can't cook.

Nancy brings cookies, her mom helped bake them. They are delicious.

Jonathan brings a casserole his mom helped him make (Joyce did most of the work) and a camera to take pictures.

Argyle brings weed and a pineapple pizza.

Nobody was ever happy to see Steve for a very long time. He was an asshole throughout all of high-school so he doesn't blame anyone.

Then Dustin came into his life and seem happy to see Steve and that melted his heart.

Then he met Robin and she was always happy to see him even if she complained about him being late.

But once Eddie came into his life it was like Steve found a happiness he never thought existed. Each time they saw each other Eddie would go "Stevie!" In the happiest tone and he would smile big like Steve was his favorite person (he is his favorite person)

Even if they saw each other the day before.

And it never dialed down. It seemed to get even more extreme.

Once they started dating Eddie would throw himself into Steve each time he saw him, sometimes knocking them both over.

Each time Steve would simle so big his face hurt.

Once they didn't see each other for a week because Eddie went out of town and when he came back he literally picked Steve up and spun him around.

Which Steve didn't know he could do. He was so red when Eddie put him back on the ground but happy to see his boyfriend.

It never stopped even if it annoyed people when Eddie screamed Steve's name in excitement every single time.

Steve loves it. And Eddie loves seeing the smile on his face.

Steve is so apologetic Eddie literally covers his mouth when he is about to apologize for something he doesn't need to apologize for. Steve just pouts because he feels like he needs to apologize. Eddie doesn't apologize. At all. It's very rare to get an apology from Eddie.
