Like, chill bro, it's not hurting anyone because people ship two characters that don't fit the ideal of "the perfect relationship". It does not make people cringey to like any kind of characters. Just let people enjoy things.

Caught in the Rain, Honey X Trois fic
A pretty short fic I wrote a little while back for HoneyxTrois, very fluffy and soft so no warnings needed

The green haired man blinked as he looked up at the sky, flinching slightly as a raindrop landed on his cheek. His red framed glasses protected his eyes from the water dripping down onto him as his head tilted up towards where it fell. The rain was quite sudden, not even a slight drizzle as a warning which meant he had no time to hurry inside to avoid getting soaked, and the clouds formed much too quickly for him to even bring an umbrella with him when he went outside. He let out a soft sigh as he looked ahead of him, glasses already too wet to properly see out of. He slid his glasses off and grabbed a small cloth from his tool belt to wipe them clean.
"Hey Trois-" The male got startled by a quite familiar voice. He looked up to see his cellmate, Honey, walking over to him while carrying an umbrella. "The hell are you doing out here? You planning on getting sick or something?"
Trois let out a soft chuckle at his questions and shook his head, "I was hoping to do some repairs but it seems I got caught in the rain. I had no idea it was even going to start raining." He sighed slightly and slid his glasses back on. "But what are you doing out here, Honey? Don't tell me you were worried about me~?" He teased and earned himself a disgusted sound from the other.
"Of course not. Kiji will throw a fit if you were to catch a cold. And it looks like you've already ruined your clothes by getting them wet." Honey grumbled and handed the umbrella he held to Trois, "Here, you can use this on your way back inside." The latter just pushed the umbrella back towards Honey with a shake of his head.
"There's not much use. I'm already soaking wet so we don't want you getting soaked as well. I think I'll be fine on my way inside." He reassured with a soft smile.
Honey growled and pulled Trois close to him, hooking his arm with the other so they were both standing under the umbrella. "I told you you'll get sick. Let's just go like this." He grumbled.
Trois looked at him a bit surprised but soon let out a soft laugh and rested his head on his shoulder. "Yes, this is just fine~"
"Your hair is sopping wet..." Honey grumbled again as they made their way back into the large building. "By the way, I'm only helping you to spare myself from hearing Kiji complain about you. And having to take care of you while you're sick would be the worst."
Trois just laughed. "Right, of course~ It's just for Kiji..." He knew very well that Honey was, in fact worried about him. If not, then at least concerned. He wouldn't have put in the effort to come all the way out here otherwise. Honey isn't exactly known to be open about his concern for others, at least not without getting flustered. But maybe that's something Trois likes about him. Who really knows.
They both went quiet after that, staring ahead of them as they watched the building grow closer with each step. During the journey neither of them bothered to move apart at all, arms hooked together as Trois rested his head on Honey's shoulder.
As much as Trois enjoyed listening to the sound of rain and their footsteps hitting the wet ground. The temptation to mess with Honey was much too overwhelming. As they began to approach a particularly large puddle Honey started stepping to the side to avoid it but Trois kept going straight forward.
"Trois, there's a puddle so mo-" Before he could even finish his sentence Trois took a large step forward, splashing the water towards the other with a laugh.
Honey nearly screeched as he attempted to move away, forgetting they were attached by the arm. Trois stumbled forward but quickly caught his footing as he chuckled.
Honey growled, "That's not funny, Trois! You got my pants all wet!"
"Oh shush, you're not the one here to complain about being wet." Trois rolled his eyes and smirked, kicking a bit more water towards Honey.
"Will you cut it out! You're not a child!" He shouted again and tugged Trois forward, away from the puddle. Laughter escaped Trois as he followed Honey once again.
"I'm just messing around, no need to get upset~" Trois grinned and continued to hold onto his arm. That just earned an eye roll from Honey.
"Whatever, but you can tell Kiji that you're the one who got my pants all dirty." He huffed and Trois just nodded.
Speaking of- as they entered the building, Honey closed the umbrella and shook it off, but they were quickly greeted with a scream from Kiji. "WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED TO YOU TWO?!" He exclaimed and Trois waved his hand dismissively.
"We just got a bit caught in the rain, that's all. We were just about to get cleaned up." He said with his usual soft smile.
Kiji groaned, "You be sure to give me your dirty clothes as soon as you're done so I can get them washed immediately. Then I'll escort you to the infirmary to ensure neither of you have caught a cold." The two boys gave a simple nod and a 'yes kiji' as they walked off. Trois glanced to Honey and smiled slightly. They have some pretty good lives, even if they are in prison- it's not too bad.
