#107: Perflume- When Spritzee reaches level 30 without being traded, it evolves into this Pokémon. Perflume can best be described as aloof and mysterious; as it stalks prey on its long legs, it spreads a scent behind it that interferes with psychic-types’ abilities and makes remembering things difficult. It is drawn to people who are sick with contagious diseases. It doesn’t seem to heal the disease or even alleviate symptoms as many fairy-types do, preferring to stare in silence. It has a complicated courtship dance that varies between different regions. Hidden by its mask-like beak are five rows of sharp teeth that are shed and regrown. Many cultures believe that these teeth can heal diseases, but there is evidence to the contrary. (Name from “perfume” and “plume”)

#106: Koronid- Koronid is a skittish and kind Pokémon that hides in dark crevices during the day, only coming out at night. The crown-like structure on its back can be raised and lowered at will, and the moonlight glinting off of it startles predators. When it gets scared, Koronid shields itself by draping the crown over its back. Though it looks like gold, this structure is actually made of highly reflective nickel. Strangely enough, this crown actually evolved independently of human influence; when the first humans landed in the region of Sakew, this Pokémon’s nickel back was already crown-shaped. Despite its appearance, Koronid is very soft and loves to be pet. Tamed Koronid will play fetch like a Yamper. (Name from “corona”, meaning “crown”, and “arachnid”)

#105: Chatrill- Evolves from Chatot when leveled up while knowing encore (level 34). This colorful flying-type has an affinity -and an ear- for all things music. It constantly taps its talons to a beat inside its head. When it hears poor rhythm or tempo, Chatrill will screech, caw, and smack the music-maker upside the head with a wing that can hit as hard as a baseball bat. Chatrill not only mimics sounds it hears, but will remix these sounds to create beautiful music. These tunes vary depending on Chatrill’s environment; city Chatrill shout songs fashioned from the beeping of horns and coo of Pidove while forest Chatrill warble a natural-sounding chorus of Pokémon cries and the wind. If a Chatrill’s trainer likes a certain genre, Chatrill will sing more songs of that genre. (Name from “chat” and “trill”, referring to a warbling or wavering sound)

#103: Evaysprit- Between being able to disappear at will, living only in the darkest and least accessible ponds in the world, and its speed, Evaysprit is exceedingly hard to study and catch. This Pokémon is very curious, however, and comes up to any human that enters its territory to sniff them with its long nose. Evaysprit doesn’t have scales and takes in no breaths; top scientists say that it isn’t even alive and many agree that it may be the reincarnated spirit of Lapras. When Evaysprit swims near the surface of its ponds, the fin on its back peeks out of the water. This has sparked many conspiracies about mythical lake monsters, dubbed “Mock Less Monsters”, named due to their existence being a mockery to science. (Name from “evasive” and “spirit”)
#104: Eelokness- Evolves from Evaysprit with a dusk stone. This Pokémon’s rarity makes Evaysprit look like your everyday Rattata. While any trainer can evolve Evaysprit with a dusk stone, no wild Eelokness have ever been documented. The only tangible evidence we have that wild variants of this Pokémon existed is a passage from a wildlife handbook written in 1856. The author states he saw a Pokémon “at least four paces tall, covered nose to fluke in the thickest algae, a black kind of metal melded upon its sloped spine.” Researchers would have believed Pokémon may have gone extinct many years ago if not for a small but persistent group of locals who insist that once every full moon, a huge beast covered in deep black metal emerges from the lake. Mere minutes after appearing, they say, the Pokémon fades away and a deep fog rolls in. (Name from “eel”, “Loch Ness”, and “elusive”)

#102: Bellibull- Evolves from Granbull when leveled up holding a fist plate. Bellibull is a loud, cocky Pokémon whose strength comes from its immense pride. Bellibull loves to arm wrestle, and some humans use it to test their strength. Many famous or important people hire Bellibull as bodyguards or house guards. Bellibull’s bite is strong enough to break bones, and its neck and back muscles have developed since it was a Granbull so that its jaw is no longer too heavy for it. Bellibull has a short temper and growls fiercely at anyone who annoys it, but it’s surprisingly loyal. This arrogant, powerful Pokémon displays its more tender side when it’s tasked with watching over small, defenseless creatures. (Name from “bulldog”, “belligerent” and “bellicose”, a word meaning “aggressive”)

#101: Dragonace- Evolves from Dragonair while knowing waterfall after level 55. This mystical beast has long been revered as a god of the ocean and of rain. It can reach lengths of over 100 feet and jump and dive as if unaffected by gravity. The feathery wings on Dragonace’s back are completely waterproof; this Pokémon folds them when it swims and unfurls them in the air. Wherever this Pokémon jumps, a double rainbow appears in its wake. Traveling at speeds of over a hundred miles per hour, Dragonace can quickly swim from ocean to ocean, seeking out hurricanes and tsunamis to calm. (Name from “dragon”, Dragonair, and “ace”)

#100: Gargalleon- Gargalleon was first discovered atop a huge stone cathedral, watching the people walking below it. It sits still almost all day, only its eyes moving. It can see small movements from over a mile away and its senses of smell and hearing are ten times stronger than a human’s. Gargalleon seems to be attracted to tall buildings, especially those made out of stone, but not always. One time, a wild Gargalleon had to be caught because it was clinging to an important radio tower and disrupting communications. It is unknown why this Pokémon perches on buildings, but it’s certainly not to protect them, as evidenced when a bank with five Gargalleon on it was robbed in broad daylight. Once a Gargalleon has chosen a building to rest on, it won’t leave until it’s caught or the building is torn down. (Name from “gargoyle”, “gallon”, and “aulon”, Latin for “waterspout”)

#98: Scoutrek- Scoutrek is a common forest Pokémon that hibernates for most of the year, only emerging from its sleep for three months in the fall so that its orange and yellow leaf-like spines help it camouflage into the fallen leaves. In those months, Scoutrek displays its savage nature. It devours thousands of bug-types every day and has to eat every five minutes to sustain its very high metabolism. Scoutrek can eat entire colonies of smaller Pokémon within just a few minutes. It even tries to take down larger Pokémon than it by biting their ankles or latching onto their faces. This carnivore has needle-sharp teeth and powerful claws that it uses to dig burrows and vast tunnel systems. (Name from “scout”, “trek”, and “tenrec”)
#99: Terraquil- Evolves from Scoutrek at level 32. Terraquil is far more aggressive than its pre-evolution, Scoutrek. It will happily eat any Pokémon small enough to fit into its mouth, and whenever it spots a large Pokémon it bristles out its spines. These spines are made of hardened, sharp leaves, not dissimilar to very large pine needles. Unlike Scoutrek, this aggressive Pokémon never hibernates. Instead, it wanders around throughout every season, picking at carrion in the winter and hunting live food whenever it can. Seeing Terraquil fighting with Linoone or Whiskid isn’t uncommon. Though they are far more dangerous than almost any other forest Pokémon, Terraquil and Scoutrek are often mistaken for cute, friendly normal types by unfortunate hikers. (Name from “terra”, Latin for “earth”, and “quill”)

#95: Strava- This small Pokémon lives a few miles above the ground and hundreds are often seen circling tall mountains at or above the tree line. Its gill-like frills take in air, allowing Strava to fill its body with it and fly higher. It floats with the breeze, unable to control its own movements effectively. As Strava soars through the sky, it opens its mouth wide and filter feeds for small organic airborne particles. (Name from “stratus”, a type of cloud, and “larva”)
#96: Altolotl- Altolotl uses its long tail and webbed hands to propel itself through the air, not dissimilar to how many water-type Pokemon swim. Its sky-blue skin has no scales, fur, or feathers, instead being covered in a thick layer of slime. The color of this skin helps it camouflage, and Altolotl from different parts of Sakew have slightly different skin tones, matching the sky around them; Altolotl from smoggy cities even have gray skin. Though it is completely blind, Altolotl’s gill-like structures serve to detect changes in the surrounding air currents and to take in air. Altolotl live upwards of five miles above the earth’s surface. (Name from “altostratus”, a type of cloud, and “axolotl”)
#97: Cirrulm- Sometimes called the “serpent of the sky”, Cirrulm is a swift and huge Pokemon. Even when it passes by at blistering speeds, onlookers hear less than a faint whistle and feel nothing more than a soft, warm breeze. Colonies of Cirrulm live high up in the atmosphere and tend to be most concentrated near the line where the atmosphere gives way to space. This Pokemon can live thousands of years by maintaining a very low metabolism, but when it dies its tail breaks off and forms a new Cirrulm with all the qualities and memories of the old one. Legend has it that an ancient king of Sakew had such a strong bond with his Cirrulm that he, too, lived thousands of years. (Name from “cirrus”, a type of cloud, and “olm”)

#94: Smeevill- The false purple head on top of Smeevill’s extended spine can be wiggled just above bushes to lure in stronger Pokémon hoping for an easy meal. As these stronger predators attack the lure, Smeevill’s true mouth unhinges to gobble them up. Smeevill can fly for short distances, but prefers to walk. This nocturnal Pokémon can barely be spotted at night, though the yellow sensory organs on its false head glow faintly to attract prey. If Smeevill is caught off guard, it is almost defenseless. (Name from “smirk”, “smile”, and “weevil”)

#93: Quacial- Quacial is a very speedy, unusually silent Pokémon that scientists hypothesize is an ancestor of Zebstrika. This living fossil wasn’t discovered until just a few years ago, when it was found in the isolated peaks of one specific mountain in Sakew. Quacial’s two(?) eyes move to follow you wherever you go and always seem to be on the same side of its face, creating a terrifying optical illusion. The effect remains even if two people are looking at the Pokémon from different angles. The orange icicles on Quacial look like they emit a neon glow, but are actually just highly reflective. Quacial’s stripes can shift and bend to hypnotize any unsuspecting predator or onlooker. As a final means of defense, Quacial can cause intense, terrifying hallucinations in any Pokémon or person that threatens it. Even months after encountering Quacial, victims report frequent auditory and visual hallucinations. (Name from “quagga” and “glacial”)

#90: Piglettel- Despite being several times smaller than more common housepets such Eevee or Rockruff, Piglettel makes up for it with its cheerful enthusiasm and extreme friendliness. It is covered in a very thin layer of fine, velvety fur, even though it looks hairless. This lumpy Pokémon is mostly made up of a type of specialized blubber that conserves heat to help it survive in even the harshest of climates. Piglettel can live in the hottest and coldest places on earth, withstand huge amounts of radiation, and even survive for months in space. In the wild, Piglettel live in tight-knit packs of up to ten members and forage for edible goodies underneath logs and leaf litter. When it’s pet on the top of its fluffy head, Piglettel purrs loudly. (Name from “pig” and “little”)
#91: Tardigoo- Evolves from Piglettel at level 29. Tardigoo maintains most of the properties of Piglettel. It is a tiny companion Pokémon that shows its affection by curling its heart-shaped tail around people’s legs. In spite of its name, Tardigoo isn’t actually very gooey, except in situations of extreme heat or cold. The heart-shaped patterns on Tardigoo’s back turn slightly more pink if it really loves its trainer. Due to its six pink eyes, Tardigoo has almost a full 360 degree field of vision. Tardigoo is extremely light, with the heaviest weighing up to 0.5 pounds. Tardigoo gets along with other members of its species, so it’s recommended to pet owners to have more than one in their household. It is quite intelligent and easily litter box trained. (Name from “tardigrade” and “goo”)
#92: Minibity- Evolves from Tardigoo when leveled up holding a heart scale. Even though it evolves, Minibity isn’t much bigger than Piglettel. This is great news for pet owners, who can give their Tardigoo a heart scale without worrying about it outgrowing their house or apartment. Minibity is incredibly resilient and can be found in some of the harshest environments on the planet. With its six malleable legs, Minibity can swim, run, dig, and even jump. In water, it is a filter feeder, eating various types of zooplankton and other small creatures floating around. On land, Minibity roots through the mud or snow, searching for roots and small bug-types. Minibity is the perfect pet for small children, taking no damage from being accidentally dropped or squeezed and able to eat almost anything kids might give it. (Name from “mini” and “itty bitty”)

#89: Thalassea- This territorial Pokémon is known as a menace among sailors. Its mischievous behaviors turn downright sinister when it senses a boat on its territory using its very powerful echolocation. Thalassea can produce massive waves by slapping its tail against the water and tangles up boat propellers with the unusually strong seaweed that grows on its head and tail. It is the root of many different myths, such as rumors of sirens and massive, 100-foot long Pokémon that eat boats. Thalassea is an uncommon Pokémon because sailors tend to kill it in their fear. To catch prey, Thalassea ensnares other Pokémon and even people in kelp and drags them down into the ocean to drown, but it actually behaves kindly towards water-type Pokémon. It schools in pods of up to fifty members that dart around kelp forests and swarm invaders or prey. (Name from “Thalassophobia”, the fear of the ocean, and “sea”)

#86: Guradar- Guradar is a man-made Pokémon that is designed to mimic the anatomy and physiology of Axew, but with small wings and colors to make it easier to identify. A few escaped from labs and quickly spread throughout the world. This Pokémon is hardy, able to survive almost any condition. It can breathe and take in nutrients through its thin skin, its blood contains anti-freezing compounds, and Guradar have even been observed regrowing several limbs within days. Originally, Guradar was developed to read the minds of criminals and receive telepathic messages for the military, but in the wild they use these powers to read the minds of Pokémon, hoping to find where the juiciest berry patches lay. (Name from “augur” and “radar”)
#87: Invendagro- Evolves from Guradar at level 38. The scientists that created Guradar never intended for it to be able to evolve, but the influx of food and new stimuli from the environment Guradar escaped into triggered evolution nonetheless. Invendagro is a flighty Pokémon, paranoid about being taken back to the labs where their ancestors were created. It changes colors to blend in with any environment over the course of several months; in forests, Invendagro’s white scales turn a dark green, and in mountains, the Pokémon becomes monochrome. Invendagro is curious and intelligent, but very easily startled. Its antennae can sense bad intentions in both people and Pokémon, and it has the good sense to avoid them. (Name from “invenire”, Latin for “find” and “dragon”)
#88: Sonaiyn- Evolves from Invendagro at level 48. As this Pokémon grows up to three times larger than the humans who intended to enslave it, its fear of these humans vanishes. Sonaiyn can send, block, and receive human messages with the antenna on its horns and tail, and once it has humans’ information, it never gives it up. Sonaiyn’s piercing eyes and powerful sonic blasts allow it to bend minds and even tear apart sanities at will, but it doesn’t. This peaceful nature is consistent with all of Sonaiyn’s actions; despite holding a grudge against humanity, it will never harm a child or a human seeking its help. Sonaiyn is regarded as an oracle, capable of seeing the future and transmitting these visions into the mind of any who desire to know. Generally, scientists never attempt to retrieve any Guradar that have evolved as far as Sonaiyn, knowing the danger it could put them in. (Name from “sonar” and “taniyn”, derived from “تنين”, Arabic for “dragon”)

#84: Phantrunk- It is rumored that there are ancient graveyards somewhere inaccessible to humans where Pokémon such as Donphan, Copperajah, and Mamoswine have gone to die for thousands of years. From these ancestral graveyards, Phantrunk rises. Phantrunk is an energetic and devious Pokémon; it loves to play tricks on humans by playing the bones on its sides like xylophones. It is said that if a human gains the trust of Phantrunk, it will follow them until they pass. Then Phantrunk and its trainer’s spirit will roam the earth until the end of time, playing and exploring together just as they had in life. (Name from “phantom” and “trunk”)
#85: Elemure- Evolves from Phantrunk at level 31. As Phantrunk matures, it will eventually evolve into the much larger Elemure. This Pokémon is extremely intelligent and very quiet. It can solve difficult problems with the ease of a genius human and its IQ is estimated to be around 250. Elemure travels in groups. These groups are made up of about ten Pokémon and are notoriously slow and steady, crossing entire countries over many years, not stopping even once. Elemure has all of eternity to walk and doesn’t need to eat, so it simply doesn’t have a need to move any faster. As it trudges across the world, its feet are caked in mud and bony growths form on its spine; you can tell how many centuries Elemure has been walking based on the number of growths. What Elemure is looking for is unknown, but still the groups remain always on the move. (Name from “elephant” and “lemures”, ancient Roman spirits)

#83: Tauros- Unlike Kantonian or Paldean Tauros, Sakewian Tauros is a calm and kind-hearted beast. It is commonly kept as a farm Pokémon and even for the purpose of therapy; the smell from its always-blooming sakura flowers is effective for calming people with anxiety disorders. The three flower buds on the end of Sakewian Tauros’ tails are soft as the finest silk and spread seeds as it runs, leaving behind fields full of cherry blossom trees. Though Tauros' velvet-coated horns are ineffective for direct attack, they can release scents that put opponents to sleep. Children love to ride Sakewian Tauros, and they are common Pokémon to see on Merry-go-Rounds.

#81: Aardvolt- When thunderstorms roll overhead, you can be assured that hundreds of Aardvolt are playing on the clouds, striking the earth with lightning for fun. They don’t mean to hurt anyone, honest! Aardvolt comes down to the ground after it’s had its fun and the storm has passed. On earth, it lives in groups of two to three in caves and icy regions, its bright blue fur glowing brightly with stored electricity. It can run quickly, but its legs are better equipped for riding and leaping upon storm clouds. If you touch Aardvolt, be prepared to receive a static shock; its fur collects, stores, and conducts electricity very efficiently. With its unsettling red eyes, Aardvolt sees sources of electricity and the path of electricity through wires and other objects. (Name from “aardwolf” and “volt”)
#82: Searkit- Evolves from Aardvolt at level 34. Unlike Aardvolt, Searkit almost never leaves the clouds. Even on the sunniest of days, Searkit will form a tiny white cloud to perch upon. During the dry season, Searkit hibernates until it rains. Its long, flowing tail is made of plasma overflowing with dangerous amounts of electricity, and anyone who touches it receives a nasty shock. Though Searkit cannot fly, it can leap huge distances thanks to its very low weight, powerful legs, and the power of electricity. These leaps allow it to jump between continents within minutes, seeking out rainstorms. It feeds off of lightning strikes, seemingly “licking” them up with a long plasma tongue. If Searkit didn’t exist, it is estimated that lightning would be over ten times more destructive. (Name from “sear”, “kit”, and “circuit”)
