An Open Letter to bizzarestars

To bizzarestars (zeppazariel):

You are a talented author with great promise, but you are wasting your energy trying to stop people sharing your fics. Trading pdfs or files or copies of fanfiction is as old as fandom itself. I am so sorry, but you put your art out there and it is no longer under your control, that is the nature of creating art. So take it from someone who has created fics and accounts much bigger and older than you and then simply walked away, just log out. Make a new account, write under a new name, and leave the fans of your previous work to squabble about it as much as they want. It's more theirs now than yours anyway. Jump into a new fandom, try a new writing style, create and explore till your hearts content and remember if its ever too much, you can just drop the pieces and walk away. You owe them nothing. But trying to scrub it from the internet or control the narrative around it is only going to burn you out, and you deserve better than that. So wash you hands of it, pick yourself up, and go find something else that sparks joy. I wish you the best of luck.
