OKAY speaking of being inconsistent, last week was kinda bonkers for me bc i really just got it through my head that i might have adhd and, idk probably anxiety.

im a little scared of seeking professional help and a real diagnosis but ill work on it. at least when i told my mom she supported me and took everything i said seriously, im extremely lucky to have her.

hey so

somehow this blog has over 300 followers so im letting people know. this started as a study blog but ive decided to turn it into a more personal blog. i wanna get into the habit of writing, literally just putting words down for the sake of it.

i wanna talk about tv shows, movies, books, games, life, whatever comes to mind. but what im hoping is that by writing things down i can like. process my thoughts and emotions better.

So! a little list of what i like and whats going in my life:

movies in general, the last one i watched was The Batman

anime / manga (bnha, jshk, jjk, witch hat atelier, dr stone, a bit of demon slayer, haikyuu, sk8, etc)

books (all for the game trilogy is a bit of a hyperfixation for me rn, but i have a long ass list to go through so ill talk about all that too)

games (genshin, pokemon, zelda, kirby, nintendo in general tbh)

life (uni, work, identity things, how im feeling, gossip abt irl stuff)

kpop (im DEFINITELY going to comment about queendom 2, i love kepler and loona the most)

ill try to keep tags on everything but i kinda suck at it. i suck at being consistent with a bunch of things but i swear ill try to not forget.

Concept: I finish school. The job I work isn’t my dream job but I enjoy doing it greatly still. It pays enough to cover everything I might need. My bills are never overdue. Money is not a thought in my head. I have a place to live. So do my dogs. It is nice and warm, I have some plants, my bookshelves are full, my sheets are always clean. There is time to read at the end of a day. I read a lot. Thinking is a good thing. I meet up with friends regularly, old and new. They love me. We make memories. I have nothing to be ashamed of. I travel a few times a year, always different places. The places I see steal my breath away. The people I meet teach me of life. They are good. There is no war. The sea calls to me and pay visit. I am independent. I am content.

I stumbled upon a website that allows you to blend any colors evenly no matter how opposite on the spectrum they are.

08/09/19 | Day 2/100 of productivity

I'm struggling a lot with this essay, I can't even begin doing the actual work, and it's stressing me out a lot 😩 I've been doing homework for my other classes hoping to gain momentum from that but havent had much luck. This thing is due Tuesday so im gonna do my best to finish on time.

Non-school-related, I decided to check out 88rising artists and im liking Niki a lot! Go give them a listen :D

05.06.2018 I need to catch up on nearly all biochem lectures since the beginning of the semester which kind of stresses me out. But my mood is still excellent because the Medimeisterschaften are coming up this weekend! It’s a festival where med students from all over Germany come together to celebrate and it’s my first time! I’m so excited!!💃

I'm doing the 100 days of productivity challenge for the first time :)

started reading 1984 and I'm digging it a lot, so I want to continue as soon as possible. 

I'm supposed to write an essay for Tuesday but I don't even know where to begin... hopefully I can get it started today at least

ok so its been  A WHILE let me tell yall.

this is fine this is ok. sometimes you gotta take a step back.

so I don't know exactly when was the last time i used this acc so let's do a small recap of my studies, a refresher for myself and anyone else who wants to read this, hi.

lets start with high school. i graduated in 2018 and enrolled into uni right away to study law starting August that same year, but that didn't really work out for me.  i dropped out after just month bc i just didn't want to figure out if i could handle all the pressure and workload. i wasn't enjoying it and i felt out of place. 

dropping out was a very sudden and scary decision i took because suddenly i was stumped without nothing to do, no job, not a lot of money of my own. but i decided i wanted to switch to graphic design fairly quickly, and searched for a new university to take my entrance exam FAST. i had about a month to prepare and study for that exam, took it in october and got accepted! and even got a scholarship! and thank god i did because otherwise i dont think my dad wouldve been too happy with me.

after i got confirmation of my acceptance i had nothing to do until january of this year, so it was a good rest for me. i spent time with my family most of the time.

my first semester as a graphic design student was really fun. the workload was still tough but this time i enjoyed it. i didnt mind staying up late doing projects and spent a lot of time making sure things were done properly. i made a lot of new friends too! which was nice, i like all of them :) i gotta say that time went pretty fast, and one moment i was done with my first week of class and the next we were finishing our final projects and wrapping up the semester in may.

summer was really chill and felt longer than any other summer vacation ive had before, but it also went by quickly. i went to the beach and spent time with friends and family, and i bought botw so i spent my last 3 weeks playing it nonstop. i love it, its the highlight of my summer and a current hyperfixation so dont be surprised if suddenly theres loz stuff on this blog ;D

my second semester started around the second week of august, and im back :] this time around, most of my classes are on the theoric side more than the practical side, so its different, but good at the same time. last semester you could find me drawing and making a bunch of models and cutting paper and all that good stuff, and now i got a bunch of essays to do, books to read, with just a bit of drawing involved to keep me on my toes.

so i feel like this could be a good place to post my work! i also have an instagram but i gotta say i kinda left it in the dust as well (oops).

but id like to keep track of not just my student stuff but also more generally of my life, like a sort of journal? idk but id like to record more of the things i do.

so yeah! ive had this blog for maybeeeee two? years? or three? and im never consistent but i wanna try again :D

The JSTOR Art Project 

I’m PUMPED to share this poster with you–It’s one of my favorite pieces I’ve completed in the past year. I was asked by JStor to create an image of a student’s desk…and to, basically, have fun with it. I filled the space with treasured objects from my studio, from my memories, and from my own research projects on JStor. I included some detail shots because this poster was HUGE and I was able to get really detailed. 

Detail 1: An excerpt from a quote that is very important to me. Detail 2: Some book spines, including a sneak peak of the spine of Compass South (our first story, Hope! :)) Detail 3: A ticket stub that is very important to me. (and I only wish I owned that skull) Detail 4: Pluche, or the Love of Art–a good book and you should read it.

 This poster will be distributed to school libraries and institutions across the country.
