It was my birthday yesterday.
My first birthday since coming out as trans.
It's also been just about 6 months since I've started hrt.
I'm 22 now and feel the most like myself I even have. I look a lot closer to the way I've always felt inside.
I feel more control over my life now than ever, while I also learn that I need to give up control in order to stay safe and healthy throughout this life.

Every once in a while I write something and it makes me think "no one will ever like this or be able to relate" and then I stop writing anything for a month and when I'm finally inspired to pick up my pen again it's like the God of emotional instability reaches out and guides me through the most productive 4 hour songwriting session of my life.
