Ah, that makes a bit more sense now heh, sorry (was listening to it on spotify, so maybe the ads kinda hindered the flow a bit or something :/ ). But yeah, awesome album, especially with the blending of the two sounds (electronica and power metal i mean), very excited for the new one ^_^
Just listened to Gloryhammers new album
and holy shit! Holy shit! It very much matches up to the first one in quality, might even be a tiny bit better. It has it’s minor problems, the main one being the the story is a little all over the place, but oh god is the music epic! Blends electronica and power metal really well in some songs to match the setting perfectly, a few songs from Zargofrax’s POV which was a surprise (although Goblin King of the Darkstorm Galaxy was probably my favourite song on the album), and they all have the same grandiose and attention to detail that the first set of songs did. I am now officially hyped for their third album (which, since they kind of ended this one on a cliffhanger, they had better fucking do)

I’ve come to the conclusion that my love life has become a vicious cycle. I date someone, I become majorly depressed when they leave, and then i instantly try to find someone else to fill the void due to how shit my self esteem is, and it all starts again. I need to take a break, as difficult as it’s gonna be, and sort out my self esteem, learn to actually like myself for a change. Not gonna be easy, but i think it’s what i need to do.

Starz has launched a mock-campaign and thrown Ash into the running for president of the USA.
It’s worth noting that they have officially canonized his middle name as “James” as of this marketing decision.

So, the good part about all this? It’s weirdly helped with my self esteem. It’s made me see that i’m worth more than someone who doesn’t feel as strongly, who doesn’t see what they have when they have me. I dunno, i guess that’s a good result, but still kinda hurts.

My week so far:
A bone snapped out of my bra on the day i came back to Southampton
I burnt my arm in the shower trying to turn it off
Lauren cheated on me with some random chick while drunk (we’re staying together, but still extremely hurt)
Bruised my arm on my laptop while punching some pillows after she told me what she’d done
Got the beginnings of a cold, including a headache and wooziness
Banged my arm on the lock to the shower room
And i am now filled with multiple insecure thoughts after what she did
It’s only Tuesday.
