The famous cartoonist Loriot was born in Brandenburg an der Havel.
Apparently he had a thing for pugs and one sketch he made was about a creature he thought up called “the wild forest pug”.
They put up „life-sized“ forest pug statues all over Brandenburg an der Havel in his honor.

My idea for the next sommer blockbuster is a comedy about a trans person running for president in the United States, and actually getting quite far.
Extra points if it hits a lot of clichés of an underdog sports movie.

This might be me just looking for something that doesn't exist, but look at the styles from 1816 and the following years. They are noticeably thicker and cover up more. This coincides with the year without a summer, where global temperatures dropped.

I posted this on Reddit in the Subreddit of my country, and to my surprise, the consensus in the comments was that this is not a big thing, nay, a good thing, because it saves money and is quicker.
I wonder if they like creeping up the ass of big companies.
A bank in my country recently started to advertise with AI-generated art, and I stumbled upon one of their posters in the wild.
It is a smartly cropped version of the following picture:

It is just on the cusp of people not realising that it is not a real photo, especially in passing.
The text on the ad said(translated): Because it's my future.
The fact that this is AI turns this from a call to safe up money for a child to a threat by the AI that it will take over in the future.
I was completely floored by the fact of seeing this in my relatively rural environment, and I fear that most people do not even realise they're looking at a fake.
I honestly feel betrayed. There's no indication anywhere to clarify that it's not real.

Tuesday was the main day of carnival in some regions of the world; it might be that this was a joke that went to far (similar to April fools)
Appall and scorn ripped through scientists' social media networks Thursday as several egregiously bad AI-generated figures circulated from a peer-reviewed article recently published in a reputable journal. Those figures—which the authors acknowledge in the article's text were made by Midjourney—are all uninterpretable. They contain gibberish text and, most strikingly, one includes an image of a rat with grotesquely large and bizarre genitals, as well as a text label of "dck." On Thursday, the publisher of the review article, Frontiers, posted an "expression of concern," noting that it is aware of concerns regarding the published piece. "An investigation is currently being conducted and this notice will be updated accordingly after the investigation concludes," the publisher wrote. The article in question is titled "Cellular functions of spermatogonial stem cells in relation to JAK/STAT signaling pathway," which was authored by three researchers in China, including the corresponding author Dingjun Hao of Xi’an Honghui Hospital. It was published online Tuesday in the journal Frontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology.

I'm not really sure I can follow what you mean. Both Sonic and his clone would have the same X-chromosome, so that probably wouldn't result in any difference.
Did you mean that genes that change the appearance are on the Y-chromosome? Then maybe, this could work.
But I personally think it's more likely that the difference in appearance tracks with the differences that can be observed between females and males of the same species. In all mammals(afaik), the cascade of gene activations and suppressions that causes the development into male is started by the SRY gene, which in most cases is located on the Y-chromosome. And in some species, this causes a lot of visual differences between F and M.
To investigate this further, we would have to compare Amy's design to Surge's, and see whether they are similar enough.
This would still be a good thing to know even if Sonic is trans.

Third: a mouth harp
I admit, I can't really hit notes with it, and since it's so limited in range, I seldom play it.
You guys want to see my collection of random music instruments that I can kind of play?

I mean, yes, sonic being trans is the easiest explanation, but it could also be that Dr. Starline edited the genome to make the clone a woman, because maybe they thought the clone would be stronger this way?
That's easier than one would think (knocking out the SRY gene should suffice I guess) and could be done by actual technology we have today (e.g. Crispr-Cas9)

The short life expectancy in the past doesn't mean that everyone died so young.
Yes, childhood deaths were more common and infectious diseases claimed more people in there prime as well, but a good number of people lived to 70 or 80+
There's accounts of ancient greeks living so long.
