A Game of Chance… - Mini Event hosted by Lucas Vantas

Explanation

The Six Sides is a mini event where during the duration of December Vantas will be dropping "Dice" to unsuspecting askblogs... Giving them an opportunity to participate in his game; basically a small prompt of creativity! Completely optional; and completely creative!

Prompt Details

If you so happen to receive a peculiar submission/ask from [Vantas] then you have been chosen to try it out! What your character gets as context for the dice is completely random and written by me (and will be provided in the ask that is sent). If you desire a specific interaction or have more questions feel free to DM me and we can discuss more!

Optional Details!

If you want something fun to add; you can make your character dress in the spirit of the game while they play- which will be CASINO. Think playing cards, dice, darts, drinks and chips!

Q&A

[Q] What is the "Play Zone"?

[A] The "Play Zone" is where your character/the player will be thrown into; think of it as a pocket dimension that will host your 'trial.' What the details of the "Play Zone" will be outside of the theme is up to you!

HOWEVER; IF YOU NEED AN EXAMPLE: If someone were to roll 'Love' the player in question would enter a "Play Zone" where their long lost lover was still alive, them having died from an accident of some kind previously. An 'alternative world', and their 'trial' is to push past the illusion of their joys; and find the dice.... Or else they risk losing the game.

[Q] What happens if you Win?

[A] You leave the Play Zone, with your traumas fresh in your mind~ Oh and you get to keep the accursed Dice when you first rolled it! However it's just a normal dice now… You cannot play again.

[Q] What happens if you Lose?

[A] This is a bit complicated to answer; but the canonical reason is your character's soul is claimed by Vantas; and added to his collection. Even though everything else continues as normal for your character; in truth- you are dead… You also forget about the game and the dice! What a great ending!

[Q] What role does the dice play?

[A] The Dice is the ticket out of the "Play Zone", how it is hidden is up to you! As long as there was some sort of trial to get to it; and it is destroyed-- of course how it's destroyed is also up to you!

[Q] Can the "Play Zone" be more abstract? Or outside of a character's history?

[A] Yes! again; how you make the Play Zone is up to you! THE ONLY REQUIREMENT is that your character has to go through some sort of trial and tribulation...

A Small Update + What's to Come

[Princely] Howdy Hey Folks! It is I, your one and only Mod for this blog. It's about time I addressed the elephant in the room and talked briefly about what's going on with this blog!

IT IS STILL HAPPENING! The story is still going and I will continue with it! However considering some IRL situations I will not be able to make the animatic I originally wanted. So I will be continuing updates without completing the animatic, and if I finish it I will... Otherwise I guess it sits in the corner.

IRREGULAR UPDATES will still be a thing as well, at least for now until I can figure out a solid schedule. I'm currently extremely active on my mod blog at @theblindfoldedprince and my other story blog, @thatvoidedpegasus. Other blogs that I own are the same as this one, and are currently in an irregular update Limbo.

I'll be ARCHIVING some posts if possible, mostly trying a way to hide them without deleting them entirely!

Finally, MINOR CHANGES will be occurring for this blog! Mostly updates in references, tweaks in post tags and minor things like that. So keep a look out!

[About]  Marrow Nynth is a stallion born in the outskirts of the common region, Commonly known as the ‘Border’ between Parasite infected Territory and Celestial Sanctuary. At a young age, he was trained to fight among side other children to help protect the sliver of civilization he called home, him however different from the rest of the children as his capability to kill Parasites was remarkable- yet very unsightly to see.
