Managing Expectations by laserisanacronym (MissGillette)
Fandoms:A Song of Ice and Fire
Paring: Jaime Lannister/Brienne of Tarth
Rating: E
Words: 98,223 Chapters: 16
Warning: Graphic Depictions Of Violence, because of Joffrey, but just in late chapter (I found it bearable and I hate descriptive violence). Modern Setting. Alpha/Beta/Omega Dynamics. Alpha/Alpha couple. Jaime and Brienne are both alpha. Mating Cycles. Explicit Sexual Content. Knotting. Implied/Referenced Domestic Violence because Joffrey/Sansa. No Incest. Happy Ending.
Summary
Working at a clinic that primarily provides heat relief for omegas, Jaime doesn't treat many alphas. When he meets Brienne—aggressive, unyielding, refuses to break eye contact first—his interest is too great to ignore. Through touch therapy, he unravels the trials and tribulations that make Brienne who she is. And discovers much about himself along the way.
Review: Very well written! The A/B/O dynamic is perfectly believable (not ridiculous as in others fics) and it set the basics for the interactions between Jaime and Brienne. They are both Alpha, but Brienne is being raised amongst Beta and didn't learn the basic rules of Alphas. Brienne is Sansa's bodyguard and perfectly in character, stubborn devoted to work sometimes awkward.
Jaime is perfectly in character too. A cutting tongue, a never satisfied need to belong with someone, an hard balance between asshole and sweetheart. He is a mix between a therapist and a heat companion (and is an incredibly believable position in this universe) and so is constantly geving others (Omegas) what they need and didn't explore what he want nor did he think it could be another alpha.
Sex scenes are hot, well described and also fundamental for the plot (which I adore), because are part of this dance of knowing each other and knowing themselves. Jaime, just so you know, is not submissive but he clearly enjoys having a dominant partner and is a giver by heart. (But there is a sequel with pegging if you are interested)
Just to be clear: alpha Brienne doesn't mean she has a d>ck, che has not. Still all alpha.
Sandor and Tyrion are amazing. Jaime doesn't have contact with his family outside Tyrion. Joffrey is obsessed and aggressive and mad, Cersei is just mentioned but is clearly... not right too. There is no incest, even if Cersei is described like she would have wanted that. Just so you know.
I recommend this fic.

Hope (at the Bottom of Pandora's Box) by laserisanacronym (MissGillette)
Fandoms: A Song of Ice and Fire
Paring: Jaime/Brienne
Rated: M
Modern setting. No sex. Non sexual cross dressing. Mention of abusive relationships. Aerys Targaryen is is own warning but he and his nastiness are just mentioned. Happy ending. De aged Jaime. He is younger than Brienne in this
Words: 58542 - Chapters: 9
Five years into an abusive relationship that's gone from bad to worse, Jaime is desperate for any means of escape. Aerys Targaryen has the sort of money and power that could find him anywhere. Jaime impersonates his sister and seeks refuge at a women's shelter on Tarth where the one rule is: no men allowed.
Review: This is one of the best fic I ever read! So well written. Jaime may looks a bit out of character but I think it's still fitting because he has a different background that shaped him. He is still both obsessive devoted, desperate to belong, and with a dose of pride. But it's hard to be prideful in his situation.
Anyway, the summary explains it good enough. I want to point out that there is no sex scenes in this fic (explicit or mentioned) beside the implicit ones between a victim and their abuser, which I find very realistic for one just out of an abusive relationship. Also, this is not a story about a trans woman, even if Brienne suspected it was and was absolutely open to it and ready to defend "Cersei" (Jaime) right to be a woman. Jaime still identifies as a man and impersonates a woman just because he was desperate to have the protection of the shelter.
Bonus point for a perfectly in character Arya, Sansa and Margery.
Brienne too is in character, with her good generous heart and stubbornness, even if the hero worship she is seen with make her look more "perfect". I think this is a mature version of Brienne. One who found his place and purpose and is confident in it. Brienne is absolutely a queen of every woman right. And then every victim right.
It's the kind of fic that menage to make you cry and you still are going to read again at one point.

Every Letter That You Write Me by othellia
Fandoms: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Paring: Buffy/Spike
Rated M
49 chapters, 204,676 words
In a world where soulmates have the ability to write on each other's skin, Spike finds himself shackled to a five-year-old Buffy, who (for once) listens to her mother's advice about not handing out personal information. With no way of tracking the annoyance down, Spike is forced to endure a decade of unavoidable communication.
When Spike finally arrives in Sunnydale and discovers his soulmate is none other than the Slayer, he revels in the notion of a destined death match, but the Powers That Be have other plans...
This was good! Very well written.
It's seen from Spike prospective and begins way before canon timeline. Then it catches up to the show and rewrite it in a way that fit perfectly together the soulmarks with the canon facts.
Warning for heavy slut shaming (Angelus use Spike body to write on Buffy).

Man of the Hour by hardlyfatal
Fandom: Game of Thrones
Pairing: Brienne/Jaime
Rated M (there are some sex scenes)
20 chapters, 76,338 words
Brienne gives up on love just in time for love to move in next door. Suddenly, the girl who rescues everyone has someone rescuing her. He's gorgeous, needy, sweet, funny... the ideal man, really, or at least the ideal man for her.
Too bad he doesn't actually exist.
Very sweet AU story set in our time. Brienne is a no profit veterinarian who cares about "damaged" animals that most of people doesn't want or would have been put down. Her new neighbor is Jaime, who left his family after losing a hand and now design prosthetic. It's a sweet and funny fic with a bit of angst (not too heavy) near the end when she descover he is a Lannister and lied about his identity. All with a happy ending.
Note: no Lannister incest; Cersei and Tywin are bad; huge amount of animals running in a single home; cute little Guinea pig on wheels being friendly with cute goat.

The Girl Who Courted Death by OffYourBird
Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Paring: Buffy/Spike
One chapter, 14,916 words
Due to a misfortune of genetics, Buffy is never Called as a Slayer. Instead, she grows up in L.A. with a different set of challenges and trials, unaware of the supernatural world. That is, until a chance encounter with the Slayer of Slayers changes her life—and everything afterward—forever
This is very sweet. Buffy basically lives in and out of hospital. She's going to die soon and she knows it. Spike is without Dru and find Buffy while in the hospital to steal blood. They talk. They click. Spike goes back again and again to talk to her. It's very very sweet.
Happy ending (don't worry).

Booty Call (Steve/Tony)
(Read it on AO3)
Tony stepped out of the shower and checked his phone while he rubbed a towel through his hair. There was one missed call from Steve. Frowning, Tony glanced at the time. It was rare for Steve to call after nine, but it was pushing midnight. Without bothering to check his voicemail, Tony hit redial, and put the phone on speaker while he finished drying off.
“Hello?”
“Hey, buddy. It’s Tony. Everything okay?”
“Hmm? Yeah, sure,” Steve sounded confused.
“You called me. It’s late. Just wanted to make sure you’re alright.”
“Oh? Oh… yeah. Sorry, Tony. It wasn’t anything important.” Steve sighed. “Actually… actually, it was just a booty call.”
If Tony had been eating or drinking, the entire contents of his mouth would have ended up sprayed across the bathroom mirror. “Excuse me?”
“Uh, yeah. Sorry to have bothered you.”
“No, no, it’s -” he blinked at his own reflection. Well. “No, it’s no bother. Honestly. I mean… I’d be down to come over and hang.” Tony held his breath.
“Oh, really? Sure, yeah. That’d be really nice. It’s not too late?”
“Not for me. I just stepped out of the shower actually.” He wondered if he should add something about being naked, but he was surprised Steve was comfortable with the concept of a booty call at all; phone sex might be pushing it. “I’ll come down.”
“Okay, great.” Steve sounded significantly more chipper than before. “See you soon!”
Tony hung up and threw on clothes at random. It wasn’t like he’d be wearing them for long. He brushed his teeth, gargled some mouthwash, and blasted out the door. By the time he knocked on Steve’s, his palms were sweaty, and he was rocking up and down on his heels. Had Steve noticed his crush over the last few months? Or maybe, maybe he had his own crush? Either way, Tony’s heart was pounding and he couldn’t seem to calm it.
Steve opened the door with a smile. “Hi, Tony. I’m really glad you came over. Wasn’t expecting to see you tonight.”
Tony shut the door behind him and shifted closer. “Well, you know, how could I refuse such an enticing offer?”
Steve frowned. “Offer?”
“Mhm.” Tony shifted even closer. He could do this. It didn’t count as making the first move when you’d literally been invited over for sex, right? Steve was a gentleman; he wasn’t going to want to push Tony into anything. So Tony kissed him.
When he pulled back, Steve’s cheeks were incredibly red, and his eyes were incredibly wide, and his eyebrows looked like they were on an expedition to the North Pole. “Um,” Steve said. “Okay?”
Tony licked his lips self-consciously. Did he taste weird? “Uh. You seem surprised? Did you get confused watching Pretty Woman and think booty calls don’t kiss on the lips? Cause I do.”
Steve’s mouth opened. Then closed. Then opened again. Then he took out his phone. “One second,” he creaked out, his voice a rusty cellar door hinge. He typed for a moment then scrolled, and his cheeks glowed redder and redder. Finally, he cleared his throat roughly and tucked his phone back in his pocket. “Butt dial,” he barely managed to whisper.
“Pardon?” Tony’s genius brain tried to jump four or five steps ahead, but Tony reeled it right back in again. None of the available conclusions to jump to were fun ones.
“I - it’s called a butt dial. Not a booty call. I, um. I must have misremembered that one.” Steve looked about two seconds from truly putting to the test whether spontaneous human combustion was possible, so Tony took two careful steps backwards, out of Steve’s space.
“Ha!” he said loudly, in a way that was absolutely not a laugh. “Ha. That’s funny.”
“Um.”
Tony turned to the door. “Well, I’m leaving now and we will spend twenty-four hours doing whatever punching-bag-yoga-calls-to-the-therapist healing needs to happen here and then I’ll see you again on Monday and this will never have happened. Goodnight!”
“Wait!”
Tony froze, then turned to see Steve reaching tentatively out towards him.
“I read what it was,” Steve said.
“What?”
“I read what a booty call actually was. That’s what you thought I meant. You came here thinking I wanted to have sex with you.”
“Steve, the whole point of pretending something didn’t happen is so we don’t need to talk about it.”
“But I want it to happen. To have happened.” He frowned. “I want that. I want to pretend I knew all along what it really was. You wouldn’t have come up if you didn’t want to sleep with me, right? You would have said no. So that means you do. And I do too. With you.”
Tony swallowed twice, letting that information percolate through his brain like a game of Plinko. “Oh. Okay. Well. You want to have sex with me?”
Steve smiled tentatively. “I want to do pretty much everything with you. But yes, I very much want to touch you.” His eyes wandered down Tony’s body like the super serum had given him x-ray vision as well. “And a booty call would be great, but if a date call is on the table too, I’d like that very much.”
“Well, shit. Okay.” Tony shifted back into Steve’s space, but once bitten, twice shy. He waited.
Steve ducked down and kissed him firmly on the mouth. When he pulled back, he grinning brilliantly.
“Date call, huh?”
“Yes, please. If you want.”
“Oh, I want,” Tony breathed. “I’ve wanted for a while.”
“Perfect.” Steve gathered Tony up in his arms and carted him off towards the bedroom. “One favour?”
“Yeah?”
“If you haven’t already, don’t listen to the voicemail I left you. Or rather, my butt left you. It’ll ruin the illusion when you find it out that it’s just five minutes of me watching home renovation shows and grumbling about hardwood installation.”
Tony grinned and snuggled deeper into Steve’s hold, giddy for the best night of his life he knew he was about to be treated to - and hopefully many more nights after. “Don’t worry, gorgeous, I’ll just close my eyes and imagine you said something else about hard wood.”
Steve laughed so hard he almost dropped him. Off to a good start.

Tony's Thrall by EndlessStairway
Rating: Explicit
Fandoms: Marvel Cinematic Universe
Relationship: Loki/Tony Stark
Summary: Rescued from Asgard's harsh justice, Loki is left with Tony Stark. Loki is unable to speak, and unable to break the control of the thrall-collar. Tony has no idea what he got into when he promised Thor he would take care of his brother.
Warnig: Odin is a shit... Asgard in general looks pretty shitty in same aspect. But Thor is a good brother. Loki's punishment was sex slavery.
51222 words and 39 chapters. And it's the first story of a series, but it make sense even in itself
Let's make it clear: Loki’s punishment was slavery of the sex kind and this is creepy. Thankfully is also out of the Mcu canon shit, so it's all obviously a bit unbelievable. But the character are still well written. I will not read it again but if you are into slavery story when the protagonist suffer but have an happy ending you should read this.

Grass and Gold by thisiswhatthewatergaveme
Rating: Explicit
Fandoms: Marvel Cinematic Universe
Relationships: Loki/Tony Stark; Loki & Thor amazing brotherhood
Summary: He lands on Midgard, on Earth, in a time that isn't his, surrounded by hostiles with quick fists and quicker jaws, but he's done something incredible. Something impossible. And he meets warriors in spandex skins and a wizard who shoots lightning from his hands and Loki thinks, This is good, and the Avengers do their best to keep fragile secrets hidden.
(In which nobody does a time-travel spell quite like Loki does a time-travel spell.)
37461 words in one chapter!
This was breathtaking. The plot is easy and complex at the same time. In reality I would call it a masterpiece about inevitability of destiny and about lost opportunity.
Basically (Spoiler alert) a younger Loki, from a time way before the Thor movie, menage to time Travel in space and time, ending on Earth not long after the event of the first Avengers movie. It's heartbreaking to read Thor and younger Loki interaction: Thor appreciate him in ways that he never did before losing him "to the madness", and Loki is thriving on that affection. Seriously the Loki/Tony relationship could be not there and it would be the same to me.
I wouldn't call the ending a happy ending.... The author left it open enough end (saw it in the comments section) sayd she thought about two possible ending. But I think in the end it was well implied the saddest one.
Still one one hell of a story! Totally racomanded.

Summary: [[Post-Avengers. Loki's plan had gone perfectly, now he needs only to see it to it's natural conclusion.]]
No Asgardian cell can hold him. Loki's magic is bound, but his mind is not -- and the Aesir were always fools, to think that Loki's mind was anything other than his most dangerous asset.
A 34005 words long chapter
Ok the summary doesn't do justice to this masterpiece. It's freaking complex. All manage to be in character, Loki is a sociopath, he's the villain but for good reason... It's all very twisted. The ending is sad... Loki's plot is successful but since it was suppose to be sad... It's sad.
We can call it the one where Loki (spoiler) is being the villain cause he think that Thor need to kill him to protect the world and the only one who will ever know it is Jane. Who Loki kidnapped. To rile up Thor and beings successful in his plane.

Good, Giving, Game
Series by hannahrhen
Rating: Explicit
Fandoms: Thor (Movies)The Avengers (Marvel Movies)
Relationship: Loki/Tony Stark
Description: Loki kidnaps Tony Stark and persuades him to work through the items on an unusual--and very adventurous--list.
Or: Thirty days, thirty kinks.
Part 1 is the full narrative; additional parts are expanded days within or after that narrative.
I think the description tell it all. Gonna be honest though, I find it still in a non con area. Yes Stark agree to play, but after he was kidnapped and after he said no for days. It's not stated clear but it's still obvious that he saying no wasn't about to get him released.
It's all treated as if is a consensual exploration of kinks but it would look more consensual if it wasn't specifically said that Tony doesn't have a safe word. Yes Tony liked the sex at the end, but in my opinion consent is about to be free to choose to not experience something, even if something you may like.
So yeah, il put it in the non con area. Be aware.

"He said you're to get changed into formal clothes and meet him in the Great Hall, there's a delegation coming from the Summer Court."
One long chapter with a sweet perfect ending.
In case you are very picky I tell you is a top merlin/bottom Arthur kind of story.

A constant reminder
Series by Skoll
3 works. 2 one shot and the last multichapter tragically unfinished
Marvel Cinematic Universe
Loki/Tony Stark
1 - In a world where there hasn't been a human soulmate pair in over a thousand years, Tony's born with a name at the small of his back, a magnetic pull at his spine that seems to lead to nowhere, and no soulmate that he can find on the face of the planet. Understandably, he isn't very pleased about this
2 - In a world where everything with a soul receives a mark linking them to their soulmate, Loki reaches adulthood with no sign of the rune that all Aesir use to find their soulmates. Without any better explanation, Loki is convinced he's a monster long before he learns of his Jotunn heritage.
3 - Tony's been waiting for his soulmate for over thirty years; Loki's been waiting for over a millenium.
That doesn't mean either of them knows what to actually do with a soulmate, once they've met.
I loved it! I loved it and I'm so so sad that the last work is unfinished. I'm hoping the author will go on one day.
The characters are so on point. Loki is not sweetened, his hurt and desperation and destructive reaction are well written.
The first story is a one shot in which Tony feel lonely because he's the only one in the whole planet who has a soul mark, but his match is nowhere to be find and he feels like it's some kind of Cosmic joke.
The second story is a one shot in which Loki feels there is something wrong with him because in a word where everyone has a soul mark he's the only one who doesn't have one. So people whispers, not low enough, that he's soulless and worthless. And he feels sad, lonely, resentful. The reason why he doesn't have one are better explained in the third story.
The third story is set during the first Thor movie. The soulmark on Tony's skin came alive when the bifrost is opened to drop Thor and when Loki came to visit his brother. Tony obviously search for answers.
It's unfinished but I still love it.

Summary: It never ceases to frustrate Tony that his smartest student is sliding by with barely passing grades. When he comes in on a weekend to administer a makeup exam, he discovers something that just might make Loki more interested in his grades.
I'm going to point this out for anyone who has ignored all the notes. LOKI IS UNDERAGE. He is sixteen, and if you have a problem with that, please skip this.
So, the summery sounds like a cliché but I found it very very nice. The story menage to make the situation sweet. Tony is a good teacher, Loki is a little shit but a secretly sweet one. Tony parents are alive. I very much enjoyed this fic.

A Friend for A Week by LokasennaHiddleston
Loki/Tony
Explicit
Unfinished :ʼ(
A week before Thor's coronation, a drunk and depressed Loki decides he wants a genuine friend of his own. Of course, he turns to magic to solve his dilemma.
There are only two problems. First, he is very aware that his current form isn't very lovable or trustworthy. Second, he actually needs a person to befriend.
This is how Loki ends up in Tony Stark's living room, minutes after his disastrous birthday party, and in the shape of a cat. What will our favorite genius-billionaire-playboy-philanthropist make of the mysteriously appearing feline, and how will it all affect their lives, and those of the people around them?
It start kind of hilarious. Loki is an amazing cat. Basically based on the idea that Loki would have been better with a friend to talk to. Their relationship is kinda out of nowhere but still cute. Work unfinished, last updated on 2018 so I think is never going to be finished.
