The last time I read it I was dealing with the loss of my grandfather and cousin (both lost in the same month) and it really helped me a lot
But
The last time I thought about this book was when my ex (also the guy that r*ped me) told me he was reading it
And I just felt like I could never look at my favorite book the same again
Knowing how much he related to it, how much he saw himself in these characters. I thought I could never enjoy this book again
But now I’m reading it and how I missed this story
I’ve been taking my time to heal from him and I feel like I’m finally getting there
