In all honestly, I never thought that I'd feel represented by a Genshin character haha 💚

I needed to express my appreciation for him somehow, so I started sketching him and this just happened. Since I was trying to restrict myself less, practice being looser with my art aaand wished to have a more "natural" look, I decided not to bother making the lines clean. I left the sketch waaayyy messier that I'm used to, but I like it a lot. I need to practice this more often, cause usually I'm obsessing over the smallest and the most unimportant details that no one can even see.

Also, as you can see, I'm mega indecisive haha, so I decided to share all of the versions.

Starting 2024 off with a bit of spice 😏 Here's Armos for ya!

It was supposed to be the last drawing of 2023, but it's alright. I started last year with a somewhat suggestive Amiran artwork, so I'm continuing the trend this year :^)

Listen.... it was an amazing anatomy practice, okay? Also, this is dedicated to my friend and a fellow DnD party member who is particularly interested in Armos ahaha. I get you man, I am weak for him too.

Besides, I'm actually quite satisfied with how the shading and all turned out. Just so you know, if you zoom in you should be able to see his scars and stuff haha (if it doesn't get too compressed by Tumblr).

🎲 ! ! ! DnD story time ! ! ! 🎲

So everyone who plays DnD knows that it can get quite intense, but I suppose that's what comes with adventure! Long story short we've went through it all - horrifying monsters, fighting cultists and working for them, getting possessed, messing with the fey, traveling through different dimensions and so on. Sadly, a few sessions ago we've lost our precious cleric Lacey. Due to time pressure, panic and VERY stupid decisions she got killed and it hit everyone hard in the game and irl. However, her player came back with a bang!

(If you're one of the players fron my group, don't read further cause of spoilers. I know that yall follow me lol)

So we kind of brain stormed this idea together. The character is a callback to the start of the campaign. Back then, our party was traveling through the sewers. Armos tried to push an annoying slime out of the way with his crowbar. He wasn't successful - crowbar got sucked into the slime and lost forever.

It's been like a month or more since then.

So the idea is that this slime somehow (idk everything) combined with other lil slimies and gained sentience. As they woke up they had the crowbar and figured that it belonged to their creator. Ever since then the poor slimey (Fred) was tracking Armos thinking that it's his dad 😭

So last sesh, our party come back home after weeks of travelling, fresh from a funeral, stressed and tired. Somethings crashing in my room. There's some intruder, so everyone ready to fight. All of a sudden, this tall, big person, all covered up in dark clothes and a helmet picks up Armos, squeezes him with the words "Hi, dad!! I finally found you!"

CAN YOU IMAGINE THE SHOCK? My poor boy is 24, rethinking all of his life choices, going through all of the partners that he had in his life. The rest of the party are also shocked, teasing the shit out of him. To say the least, he was glad that the plan was to unwind at the tavern lol

I've had this chibi / sticker-esque thingy done months ago, but just.. well forgot haha!

It's our DnD party's artificer Lizzie! A bit brash and quick tempered, but just as quick-witted and smart. She's the one to come up with all kinds of contraptions and gadgets for any situation. Also... maybe... just maybe she has eyes for a certain tiefling, but that's none of my business 😏😌

How do yall evaluate your art (as in prices)? .-.

I need money, but I feel guilty asking for anything 😭

I simultaneously don't wanna sell myself short, but fear being judged cause of it. How do you even know what's the right price and what's too little/much??

Since the event is officially over, I'm here to share my Illaoi!! I've drawn this for the League of Legends Pride Chibis project on Twitter! Every single champion got a chibi with different flag variations to celebrate Pride 😊 Also, here are some other rough sketches that I've made while brainstorming ideas (except the one I ended up finishing)! :) If you wish you can check out other champions and get access to the chibi files on @ LolPrideChibis acc on Twitter. Overall, it was such a fun experience. I've met so many wonderful artists. I feel like we've made a little, fun community while preparing stuff for this project. It's one of the reasons why I love participating in zines and similar things. It's so fun to realise that you start recognising more and more names or when you discover new, talented people. 💜

I haven't drawn for like 2 weeks due to my thesis and holy hell it feels weird to try and draw again. It's not like it's been months, how come do I feel so damn rusty already??

Here's my contribution to the LITHUbeasts project! Lots of Lithuanian artists came together to portray their interpretations of our folklore creatures. I took it upon myself to draw laumės! Read up and check out other works in the project tag and #lithuartist (most of the works are on Twitter under the same tags! Not sure if any of them post here on Tumblr) Laumės (plural) are quite fascinating, so there are English, Ukrainian and Lithuanian translations of their description for ya!

And a couple fun facts: Thursday is their day so I posted this on a Thursday (everywhere apart from Tumblr cause I forgot lol, but let's pretend I did it on the right day ok)! Also, I felt like it was very sweet that the day when I finished the drawing there was a double rainbow in the sky :") It's like they saw my contribution hahaha

3 year art progress!!!

A while ago I participated in a tweet thread where I compared artworks from 2020 and 2023! I thought it would he the most fair to compare two drawings of similar scale and of the same character. I felt like I wanted to point out more things than I could in a tweet, so I made a video! It was interesting to learn how to edit lmao.
