dabi doing toga's hair because he used to do fuyumi's dabi helping tomura and spinner when they get stuck on game levels like he used to do with natsuo compress and kurogiri parenting the league and both dabi and toga don't know what to do with the attention and unconditional love twice being like a big brother to all of them, most of whom have never had an older sibling before the league being family to each other because most of them either don't have family or don't have family that wants them (or that they think want them)

headcanon that the todoroki siblings grew up ice skating with their mother rei has an ice quirk, so maybe she grew up with it fuyumi and natsuo went the most. touya was obsessed with getting endeavor's approval, so he often refused, but he did go sometimes. by the time shouto could have gone, he was seperated from his siblings and rei wasn't very stable

fuyumi and natsuo kept going even after things fell apart. they kept that one thing that reminded them of their mother, and no matter what happened they would always go skating on those cold days during winter break when neither had school, and later on fuyumi didn't have class to teach

but, once the siblings start talking, fuyumi and natsuo take shouto ice skating with them, teaching him how so that they can all go with their mother once she's out of the hospital once touya is arrested and put in a reform program, it takes awhile before he's trusted to go places but once he is, they invite him to come with them and maybe, once, during winter or up in the mountains with the league, touya taught them because it was one part of his childhood that made him happy and he wanted to share that happiness with the people he cared about a day where they don't think about work or the war. a day where they just let themselves be people, let themselves have a day of fun. a day of purely enjoying the others company

a funky little au that i have, that absolutely doesn't work in canon, that pre death touya was eraserhead's intern. does this only exist because dabi/touya and aizawa are two of my favorites? absolutely. but imagine, touya 'died' at 16 between internships with aizawa. then, 8 years later, dabi is there and trying to drag endeavor to hell, and aizawa can remember who touya was. the kid who was always pushing himself, who loved his siblings, who once accidentally almost burned down aizawa's apartment (or wherever they were staying for the internship) trying to cook with his quirk. the kid who he unofficially adopted. the kid who shouto reminds him of so much. and dabi is so different but it's easy to see how touya could become him. aizawa can still see touya in there. an adult, who never hurt him, who's willing to try to save him (although, he'll protect his students from dabi if/when it comes to that). alternatively, dabi had no major crimes before the league. imagine, he doesn't want kids involved in this. imagine, once the league has bakugou, he realizes that even if they're the path to endeavor, using children to get what they want reminds him too much of how endeavor used him. how endeavor is using shouto. so, he calls aizawa. calls a number that he memorized at 16. and he tells him where bakugou is, maybe he helps aizawa get him out, maybe he lets bakugou go when aizawa is outside.

how are endeavors genetics so shit?? out of 4 children: one of them has his build, 2 and a half have his eyes (1 and a half in the anime), none of them have just red hair, maybe 3/4ths of a head in total plus touya's originally being red, and quirk wise none of them just have a fire quirk. are rei's genetics just strong as hell or something?? or are endeavor's pathetic?

imagine, the dabi is touya reveal, but everyone except endeavor was aware. shouto put it together after dabi called him by his full name at the summer camp, katsuki put it together after his kidnapping (probably from some stupid tiny habit), most of 1-A was convinced by shouto. natsuo figured it out from high-end. it was a theory on forums that dabi was endeavor's dead kid for awhile endeavor is the only one who doesn't know, and i can't decide if dabi should be aware of this fact or not

vigilante dabi who is just kinda. around. during shouto's childhood, unknown to endeavor. todosibs worst kept secret, yet somehow the flaming trashcan remains clueless. the 12 year old suddenly has black and white hair and he's trying to figure out how in hell his child who never leaves the house got hairdye and dabi's just in the backyard
