Throwback Thursday to the Refuse to Abuse 5k with the WA State Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Had to take a selfie at the starting line because I knew this would be my only time ahead of everyone because I’m definitely not a runner 🏃‍♀️🙈😂 Actually, I was pretty proud of myself because this was the first time I’ve run a 5k (usually I walk) and I finished among the first 100 out of almost 1500. More importantly, the 5k was for a good cause, the WA State Coalition Against Domestic Violence or “WSCADV” is helping victims and survivors every day across Washington state and it was really encouraging to see so many people show up to support the cause.
