SQUEAKED by with a Q at our first ever AKC trial! 175 (still second place!) In Novice A 🥲 She saw M outside the ring a few times during our heeling pattern and needed to 👁👁 so we lost some points there when I had to call her back to heel. And on the recall she came in too hot, went all the way around me and finished in a lovely heel position finish instead of a front. Can't be mad though. She did it!! In a brand new environment, brand new people, and even damp grass. 🥰

Aayla got her AKC Utility title today!

A bit of icing on the cake is that today she also:

Got first in Utility (required for OTCH)

4 OTCH Points

A score of 191.5 (highest yet!)

6 OM points

Qualified in Open too which got her a UDX leg

Won high combined!

Day one at the dog show has been great! Kaiju passed his temperament test with a perfect score and now has his ATT title. Furby won Reserve winners dog and got some nice FastCAT runs in. He averaged about 22 mph 🏃💨

I didn’t know free runs came with volunteering for this event but Essie got to chase some baggies do 100 yard recalls!!

It’s been a wonderful start to 2024! Mr Link and fluffy pal, Mochi, each earned their very first AKC Agility titles, Novice Fast Preferred (NFP), over 2 weeks, with 3 Qs over 4 days of trials!

Much thanks to @fluffy.corgi.mochi’s human for the on-course handling!!

Dolly ran the courses as well as For Exhibition Only (FEO) and was on the sidelines cheering everyone on!
