half of it is human perception but the other half is ways of communication we created ourselves, because people just are like that. they express themselves.

Dormancy should NEVER be considered that. Saying that an alter needs to be punished isn’t okay.

Dormancy is a useful tool. It gives alters in crisis a break, or prevents alters doing harm to the system, body, or those around it.

Dormancy isn’t evil, it isn’t bad. Never refer to it as a punishment, good god.
