yes, you're right about her constellations and attacks being moon based! if she was a vision user, it would be hydro (based on the moon's association with our oceans). catalyst would suit her because of the easier fighting style but i feel like that's too cliche, although she really wants to learn using the bow though, with the help of venti (or lyney)! she might also be a healer type of character ^^

his new trailer featured a small moon. you know what that means? "lunette" = little moon in french origin. im gonna cry im so delusional

im preparing a short comic for lyn/lun, hopefully it's not too ooc to his canon personality bc i still havent seen his voicelines orz

!! edit: some people pointed out that that "lunette" doesnt mean that! i actually based it on what i gathered on meriam webster, it says on the site that there are some 17th century evidence of the term being used for "small celestial moon", but the meaning now is apparently obsolete, so i used "french origin" on my post. maybe i got too ahead of myself from that statement? i just went with it because genshin isnt modern..! (+ plus other probably unreliable sources) personally i still want to associate her with the moon, because i took "lun" from luna and "nette" from marinette (lol) so yes! i just find it cute and im making these for myself anyways ><

Random thing but have you heard of this murder mystery fandom called Danganronpa? Because I'm pretty certain that you might like a certain purple-haired gremlin due to him sharing similarities with Lyney, as well as similar personalities and the same Japanese VA.

a... a-anon.. i will never forgive you for introducing me to him- jk

ive known danganronpa since childhood yes! it has been in my bucket list for years actually along with persona 5 haha. but... this guy... i might play it on stream just for him im not even joking oh my god.

so this is what i think of his design and his personality based on his appearance/body language. first of all, i really love the outfit with the hat and cape! it reminds me so much of my art senpai's oc's uniform and the uniform i designed for my high school au for venlune..! (though i still have to research on what that style of uniform is called), and the checkered aesthetic on his scarf, i love it!

for his personality, im thinking of maybe he's like one of those "innocent" types who turn out to be the reddest flag of them all which i think is very attractive- uhm yes. my favorite gap moe is when a character looks cutesy and innocent at first, but is actually playful or the craziest, depending on the genre! sigh, and he also shares tha same va with mr magician, the world is so cruel to me... :(

overall... i want him to step on me. thank you for coming to my ted talk.

idk if you did this on purpose but the fact that in the HS au art the teal venti's braids seem to be brighter when he is all lovey and asking if lunette needs something has me giggly and smiley- i just think that looks neat-

yes i really like giving venti's braids the glow whenever he feels intense feelings! i do it especially when he's feeling romantic emotions (such as being happy or when hes blushing) or depending on the mood i want to depict, i just think its both cool and cute of him hehe <3

the venti x oc x lyney is so real i feel you on a spiritual level😭 any chance we'll get to see some of it anytime soon?

im planning on doing them after i get to know more about lyney's character! though i already wrote some stories and dialogues for some comics about lunette and lyney's first meeting, venti's reaction to it, etc ;w;

for example, what would lyney think if he, as a well renowned magician, failed to capture a lady's heart? you know what they say, "curiousity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back".

also my initial headcanon for lyney and venti is that they are similar in many ways in the surface level, but they receive different reactions from lunette. one is dangerous and mysterious but alluring, and the other is like a flowery field she calls home.

i also find it funny that venti is allergic to cats, while lyney's mascot is a black cat. the rivalry symbolism is there!

im excited to share my ideas after his release! <3

Hellooo! I just wanna say that your art makes me smile so much!! And i love your content with venti x oc TvT. If its too much trouble would you be willing to give some tips on drawing and how you do color for an aspiring artist. I cant wait to see more of your works!!

thank you so much, im glad my works that i do for fun make you smile! especially my venlune works, which i didnt expect would get attention ;w;

i dont consider myself a very skilled artist yet, and im also not an art student, but im willing to give some (personal) tips i learned along the journey i went through in making art!

(assuming anon means art in general not comics)

1. (this is obvious but some actually dont do this, ok tbh even i dont because im lazy lol) watch tutorials from the internet, like youtube. there are a lot of videos available there from pro artists!

2. practice anatomy first, or linearting. you can start learning more about rendering later. if you want to focus more on making pretty but simple art, then you should study how to draw anatomy decently first, then you can just use some flat colors if youre not confident yet or still practicing your rendering! because from what i observed from my past artworks, detailed rendering doesnt do much if the anatomy and lineart aren't done well TT (anatomy doesnt have to be accurate by the way, as long as it looks aesthetically pleasing to the eyes youre good! imo at least)

3. steal some processes from other artists, then mix it with your own. it helps in experimenting and building your own style that you find comfortable to do! but you dont really have to find a specific style, you can draw inconsistently, if that's what makes you enjoy art! dont pressure yourself in finding a style, take your time! it even took me almost a decade to find mine (yes i just found a style im satisfied with recently that i can actually make consistently TT)

4. for rendering, im not confident in giving tips regarding it yet, because im still struggling with lighting and such. but im willing to share my process next time with images! just ask again if youre interested ^^

5. the most important part, have fun with the process! this sounds cliche, but to me this is what my goal is currently. i used to enjoy making them so much when i started, so im doing my best to feel happy with the process again, not only focusing on the result! also i believe in [happy process = good result] hehe
