Don’t put your trust on people. People change. But God never does. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever!

There’s no need to worry. Why should I be afraid of what tomorrow might bring when I know that God is in control of every detail of my life.

I’m grateful that I can still breathe; I’m grateful for my salvation; I’m grateful that I can enjoy watching the sunsets; I’m grateful that I can spend time with family; I’m grateful for the different amazing types of food we can eat; I’m grateful for the wonderful leaders we have in church....
What are you grateful for?

Let your life be a blessing to someone
Let your testimony encourage the weary
Let your faith touch the lives of many.

Many times we just want things to go our way according to our schedule. But...God’s timing never fails to be perfect. Yes, we have to wait; but it will all be worth it once we receive the blessing God has in store for us 🤍

If you want strength, why not go to the source? If you want wisdom, why not go to the source? If you want nourishment, why not go to the source? In order to survive in this world, we have to go to the source D A I L Y.

What do you walk by? By your own senses? By your own strength? By what your eyes perceive? Faith is having C O M P L E T E trust in someone or something; even if it is not physically seen or felt, you still trust/believe that it will be there. I’m still learning to have utterly and totally complete faith in God🤍

Chase purity, humility, gentleness, kindness, love, and lastly, chase truth. Have you practiced one of these lately?? I know I haven’t but I want to start with truth. What will you chase today?

Sometimes we think that God is too busy to listen to our small “insignificant” prayers—“There’s no point in praying because there are more important things for Him to be answering right now.” But who says that He doesn’t pay attention to our prayers? He knows our prayer way before we even pray it. God cares! He is actually waiting eagerly for us to raise up a prayer to Him. But our minds are too minute to even realize that He loves hearing our voices when we pray to Him and when we worship His name. Don’t worry. If you prayed it, He’ll answer. Could be that He waits a while, that he responds immediately, or that He answers with something different to what you wanted. But just know this: He will give His children ONLY the BEST and He will answer in the PERFECT TIMING✨ 🎁

“It is in the waiting that we find ourselves drawn closer to the arms of our Father; we learn to depend more on His love and mercy; we begin to feel our faith grow stronger and deeper in His presence.”

Guys & Girls,
If we truly trust in God’s providence, then there is no need to seek for a partner that doesn’t believe in God, who’s probably never heard of Him, or who doesn’t desire to convert to Christ. Having a relationship with an unbeliever can cause so much pain; conflicts will continuously arise. God will make a way even when we “think” that it’s impossible to find someone truly committed to God. But then again...nothing is impossible with God!
I should be in love w him but I am. We have so much history and he’s my best friend in the entire world. I feel this deep rooted connection to him that I can’t explain but just feel as though God put him in my life for a reason. Now we’re in college, I moved to the city to be close to him like we planned since we were younger and I see him in passing. We still freak out anytime we see each other, and act as if no time has passed even though so much has. We run into each other all the time 3/?
Yeah this is a tough situation. Like I said in the previous post, Christians and non-christians shouldn’t date. Dating is about heading towards marriage. Two people bring their worldviews together and must agree to walk in the same direction with their lives otherwise it doesn’t work. A Christian lives their lives oriented towards Jesus and non-Christian’s don’t do that. It just isnt compatible. Being married to someone who doesn’t have your values is a long, lonely and painful existence. God gives us these commands for our own good because He loves us and doesn’t want us to feel this way.
Moving to the city to be close to a guy who you’re not romantically with is a bold and intense move, and you don’t even spend that much time with him. God puts people into our lives for a reason, yes, but we need to use wisdom to discern whether it’s for life or just for a season - someone God uses to help grow us (character/faith development). In this situation I think you have a few options:
1) You can end this whole thing. Your feelings might just be too strong for you to trust yourself with this guy, for his sake and yours, it may just be best to finish the relationship/friendship altogether. A clean break will feel better than a messy one. If Jesus really is the Lord of our lives and we really do trust Him, we sometimes have to say ‘no’ to things even when we may feel it is right and good. It would be helpful if you have a friend to support your through this, keep you accountable and distracted while you grieve the loss of this friendship/relationship thing. 2) Change the nature of your friendship. Again what you’re describing sounds intense. We’ve established that he isn’t a Christian so it wouldn’t be wise to pursue him romantically even though you have feelings for him. People who go out and spend a lot of time alone together are almost definitionally dating and if it looks like that then it’s no wonder you have romantic feelings for this guy. If you’re not dating then it’s not appropriate for you to be alone together anymore. When you hang out together keep it in group settings with other people and distance yourself emotionally from him (establish emotional boundaries so you don’t get hurt).3) He becomes a Christian. If he becomes a Christian then you’re free to date him (and marry him). However, you need to be sure that his faith is genuine and not just for you. Get other Christians involved in his life, get him to be friends with other Christian guys and get them to explain the Bible to him and who Jesus is. Guys will do anything for a girl he’s interested in, so his faith needs to be determined as real.
In the end, if you’re a Christian then you and Jesus are a package deal. Don’t lower your standards for any guy. Stick to it, find some supportive and trusted Christian friends and pray over the situation. Don’t rely on your emotions, rely on God and trust in Him.
