thursday
we managed to borrow a classroom to watch a movie (12 angry men, my second rewatch) for a group project, it was really nice>.< Then I had a sociology lecture and besides that I didn't get much studying done. After uni I went to my friend's and we had a lovely time together. I'm quite drunk now but I got home safely, hope y'all had a great day! (I love my friend's cat omg i'm allergic to her but she's soooooooo)

I'd been self-harming for 7 years - the last time I did it was July 16, 2023. Now I know that I'll never do it again and the thought... makes me sad sometimes. Sometimes I miss it - it's normal, an addiction never truly goes away, you just stop doing the thing you're addicted to, but... Ugh, 7 years is a long time. I catch myself imagining doing it again, it's not often, but it happens. It kind of feels like a long-time friend of mine has died. It was a toxic friendship, but a friendship nonetheless. Or like I lost something precious to me. I'm better off without it. I still feel nostalgic about that thing. About the friend. About hurting my body.

tuesday, 16/04
to say that today wasn't productive is like to say nothing at all but it was a good day nonetheless.
I overslept for a test, kinda embarrassing, but well, life happens. I already mailed my professor and now I'm waiting for an answer, but I think she'll just let me write it with one of the other groups (I totally panicked at first though, my morning was awful). Went to uni for the rest of the classes, then visited my mom and in the evening I went to a bar with my uni group. I watched Godzilla: King of the Monsters, too, it was amazing (I cried my eyes out though, my favourite character died, it's been a while since I got attached to a fictional character like this hahah).
when dr serizawa said "sometimes, the only way to heal our wounds is to make peace with the demons who created them" ???? jeez !!
(also "these moments of crisis are also a potential moments of faith"...... like man....)
