I want to check in to say the current situation in Gaza is all I can think about at the moment. I’ve had my heart in my throat for the last couple of days and I am horrified and scared about what this situation has revealed to me about censorship and corruption especially in the West. It is a terrifying situation, it is genocide, and my heart breaks for the Palestinian people who are dying or watching their loved ones die.

And because apparently this needs to be said, wishing peace and freedom for Palestinian people does not make someone antisemitic. And I actually find it extremely disingenuous to suggest that. Wanting children to LIVE does not inherently mean hatred towards jewish communities just because the children are Palestinian. I am in awe of the bravery and kindness of Jewish people who are speaking out about this, I know it cannot be easy to be perceived as a traitor by other people in your community.

This is all to say, I am finding it really hard to carry on like nothing is happening. I feel incredibly sad and scared and really hopeless at the side of humanity I am seeing at the moment.
