Hello! This is my cry for help!

I am a transgender man living in the Bible Belt of the US. I work a job that cuts my hours and doesn’t allow overtime under any circumstance. I can’t leave this job, either, because it is one of the only ones I can find that will hire me knowing I’m trans (I am a year and three months on T and still have my birth name on my documents). I can save some money if I cut out buying food and stuff, but that will still take me over 2 years to save up.

So what do I need help with? About two hours from where I live there is an accredited tattoo school that will give me everything I need to work and teach me what I need to know. The course is two weeks long. I would be living at the studio for those two weeks, working 6 hours a day, 5 days a week fine tuning my drawing skills into tattooing skills. The catch is that I need all the tuition before the first day! So please, PLEASE help me realize my dream! I will even have the tools needed to start my own business, and the day I finish the course I am immediately hirable!

so my brother was telling me about this human resources certification he attended a while ago. in a panel, the panelist asked a bunch of people in attendance, “who here knows if an applicant for a job is right for it in under 60 seconds?”

hands shot up around the room, people smug about their ability to “weed out the riff-raff” when it came to hiring for their fortune 500.

“you should all be fired and probably in jail,” they said, waiting for the whole room to get uncomfortable, then continued, “because the only things you can really learn about a human being in under 60 seconds are all things that are fueled by prejudices and biases covered by american law. so now, i will teach you how to stop being racist, sexist, judgmental assholes and hire people that will better your company of employ.”

I got a 3 pack of Sonic underwear... They are a size too small, but it makes my junk look GREAT! ;P
