Wymak probably won't let anyone drive the bus, because of what happened to Kevin's mother, who died in a car accident and Wymak lost the person he cared about the most at the time, now, the most important thing is his Foxes and He's not going to let anything happen to them. I’m not crying, you are.

Has anyone ever missed an ex, but like, not the ex, but the experience?
I don’t miss my ex, I miss having someone to touch, to touch me and feel safe. I miss napping on top of someone, sharing sloppy kisses, not worrying if I drooled as I slept, just feeling the warmth of another body against mine, sharing those stupid in-love giggles everyone hates listening too but actually feel so fucking great to make.
I miss someone telling me how absolutely ridiculous I looked not in a bad way, but in a funny and lovely way.
I miss remembering someone’s presence in a good way, like remembering how good you felt half an hour ago, how warm and safe you felt in their arms.
Fuck I don’t miss her, I miss the feeling of her, the idea of it.

Now I imagine Neil and Andrew having problems with their future foster kid ( in my universe they are foster parents, don’t be a fool and agree with me) cause he/she/they stole one of Andrew’s knifes so they give the kid one of this fake ones.
Their school ends up banning them because of the fear of the teachers and kids and the difficulty to difference a real knife with those fake ones.
hc that for their fifth anniversary Neil gives Andrew a joke knife, one of those with the retractable blade.
at first Andrew was like :/ but then he discovered the power he had in his hands.
no one knew of the existence of this knife, so Andrew, with Neil's acting skills, gave more than one Fox a cardiac arrest, like Matt, Allison, Dan, Kevin and obviously Wymack pretending to stab Neil .
Aaron and Nicky found out the hard way that the knife was a fake: Andrew was bored, Neil was gone, and Nicky was being annoying.
the fake knife was physically the same as another one he had, so the rest of the Foxes had no way to distinguish between the real one and the fake one.
Neil loves to steal it and pretend to dramatically stab his friends. (very dramatically) and more than once he has pretended to bury it in his heart after some "hurtful" word from Andrew.

Neil doesn’t lights cigarettes because they reminds him of his mother.
He lights them because they reminds him of his mothers body.
The body that stood between him and danger.
He talked about his mother not being affectionate, but holding him. Not like, I love you so I’ll hold you, but like, you must be safe so I’ll hold you.
Neil doesn’t have any good memories of his mother, he just wants to believe she loved him.
She probably did love him, but didn’t had time to show it due to being always in danger.
So he doesn’t want to remember his mother, he wants to remember his mothers body taking care of him and protecting him as a way to show her love for him.
He remembers his mothers body going away.
Burning and leaving him alone.
He considers his mother as a teacher who teaches him how to survive on his own, to always look behind his back and never trust anyone, not a mother.
He remembers the moment he was alone for the first time, and the smoke makes him remember that the last words his mother told him were not “I love you“, but some instructions to find help in case of emergency.
Definitely not an affectionate mother, but a good one
