makes me laugh so hard. for context this after wymack asks neil to tell his "psycho pet" to stop almost injuring his teammates during practice. and yknow.... it being andrew he says some snarky bullshit but still begrudgingly does what neil says

and wymack just being utterly dumbfounded that neil is so unaware that andrew has a thing for him. dude's staring at him going "what do you mean what, do u not understand the stunts u pull off are literally impossible unless this mfker had some sort of soft spot for u. are u guys not like horrendously flirting...?"

and in typical wymack fashion he actually doesnt care that much about college student romance but neil

This thing got stuck in my head for like months

I think that Waymack hate(love) all the fox the same amount, but he really like to brag about Aaron during the banquetes to the other coaches

I just can see him going on like “i know Aaron is not my best player but he is in division I exy and at the same time he got exceptionally good grades as a premed student”

And I can see him like going on and on about Aaron and his grades and like no one of the fox know this until one time Jeremy goes to Aaron and is like compliment him about his time management and all the fox are visibily shocked about this, and then Jeremy explain every thing to them, and their reaction is pure gold

I don’t know why but it was stuck in my mind for forever and I had to let this out

I put in my notes on Kindle on the line of Wymack telling Jean he was never letting Moriyama/Riko touch him again, something about how protective Wymack is makes me love him so much. Like in this chapter Nora refers to the airport scene with Neil and Wymack and it just reminded me how strong and caring but not quite paternal yet still a father figure Wymack is for the Foxes and really any stray desolate child who comes to his door. He's so good. Obviously it'd be heartless to send Jean back, especially like this but even at all, but to be SO dedicated and to say it to Jean's face so blatantly and be like "fuck them fuck you I'm not letting them hurt you and you can hold me to it" it just makes my heart hurt? I love him sm.
