So, there's still a lot I need to learn when it comes to worldbulding, like lore, making locations, making kingdoms, etc.
But... Am I the only one who feels... Confused? With Vesuvia's build?
The idea of the city being on water is pretty cool... But, what's with all the cuts in the pieces of land? And where are the bridges that connect them?
Also I wasn't aware that the castle was elevated from the rest of the city. Which has me very confused, if you have done Julian's route a lot. The very first chapter, you're at the castle grounds, which we now see is higher than the city, and you spot this stream of red water. That leads to South End- where the Rowdy Raven is.

There's too many large lines of water, the stream was supposedly behind the castle, and there's no reasonable path to the Rowdy Raven from the castle garden or behind the castle. And, again, not the same ground level. That elevation has no hills, it's just a straight cut down, there's walls and waterfalls to show that. From the chapter, it made me think the castle was in the center of Vesuvia and the Rowdy Raven was in an area behind the castle. There's also the fact that the stream of red water was flowing behind RR but as I show in the photos, how would that work? The bodies of water are too big and the red would have faded to pink and then probably to nothing in that area AND the RR seems to be in a certain spot that has the "behind it" part make no sense.
If you're sitting there saying "Why do you care, this is a romance game- it's not a big deal."
When has that stopped any weirdo writer/artist like me, dude? 馃ぃ

So... Apparently Blitz is Pansexual.
Yeah... I don't... I don't know about that. I know he dated Verosika, and has hinted being attracted to Millie. But, I've mostly seen him making out and sleeping with men.
The only character I can think of that genuinely feels Pansexual is Husk. Blitz mostly feels Achillean (this is the opposite of Sapphic).
I know it's not always the same with sexualities, like some peeps who are Asexual can still end up in relationships and have sex. But, there are others who are Asexual, end up in relationships, and never have sex. And I'm not saying that someone who is Pan can't sleep around- what I'm saying is: I'm mostly seeing Blitz with men. Is he Pansexual but Homoromantic? Am I making any sense? Like, where are the moments he's hitting up a woman or a non-binary? Intersex? Trans? Bigender? Genderfluid? Like, anyone else?
This just adds on to something I've noticed with Vivziepop. She's mostly done MLM relationships and MLW relationships. The only WLW relationship I can think of from her stuff is Charlie and Vaggie. It's slowly feels very... Fujoshi.
If you don't know what Fujoshi is: it's a Japanese term for women who are hyper fans of MLM relationships. Yaoi to be specific. I prefer separating Yaoi from MLM relationships because it's mostly toxic gay porn. Which a lot of it is made by Fujoshis. These kinds of women can be terrifying and disgusting. I haven't seen Vivziepop do something as gross as what those women do. It's just the fact that I mostly see MLM or MLW relationships and rarely WLW relationships. It's a weird, off feeling I get from her.

Edit: I learned my lesson, I was wrong. About a lot. Don't mind my dumbass. I'm a ding dong still learning about sexualities, gender, and identities. You'd think I would've figured shit out by now, especially because I'm bi but, nope, still learning.
And I am sorry towards Viv, I wasn't aware that she was bi. She still gives me off feelings but the fujoshi comment is gone from me now.

Wait. What?
Okay, I just took a dive into the lore in Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss.
The Ring system doesn't make any sense. Sinners wise.
I thought Sinners just end up where their closest Sin was. Like, Alastor is Prideful. It fits his character altogether. Vox is Prideful, in his technology and smarts. But, there are some characters that would fit other Rings. Like, Valentino ending up in the Lust ring. He's the bad type of lust. With Husk, he might fit Gluttony because of his gambling addiction.
When I first heard this concept, I thought all the Sins were in the main location. Like each Sin was a section on the Pentagram. But, of course, I looked at the Pentagram and realized there aren't enough spots for all the Sins to be part of it.
Note: as I was writing out this post, I did look up a reason for why this is. One person on Reddit said that it's because Lucifer is responsible for Sinners. So, he gets all of them as a punishment.
That does make sense... But, now the existence of the Rings doesn't make sense. What's the point of the Rings if none of them are holding Sinners who fit the Sin?
To be clear, I'm not trying to bash the shows. I really like Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. But, as someone who is an OC writer and is trying to get into writing themselves, the lore is weird. It feels like it was made in the last second. This isn't going to stop me from liking the shows, I'm gonna keep watching, the storylines and characters are good. This is just a piece of lore that's lost on me.

Hazbin Hotel talk~ 馃崕 Spoilers up ahead if you haven't seen or finished the show.
I've posted a comment on a YT video about this situation going on in Charlie's household. Figured I'd post it here. And undoubtedly someone else already talked about this.
So... What exactly was Charlie's childhood? With her parents? For a while, we all thought that Lucifer was going to be a major dickhead. No faith in his daughter, verbally and psychology abusive. Yeah, turns out, that isn't the case at all. Lucifer is a total sweetheart who's going through depression and absolutely LOVES his daughter. So... Why wasn't he and Charlie close? Because after seeing Lucifer, it's clear who Charlie takes after.
Lilith. Yeah, I really think it's Lilith, guys.
To be clear, I'm not defending Lucifer on things he's said to Charlie. He was scared for his baby because of what Heaven is capable of and was just trying to protect her. He just didn't do it right. He never tried talking to her about it, until now. That is on him. But, at least we see that he was never abusive to her, physically, verbally, or psychology. Just... Dumb. And stubborn. And socially awkward. And having a very sour view on Hell thanks to Heaven. That might also be another reason he was scared for her, because of what Sinners and Overlords are capable of.
But, now, what about Lilith? Charlie is close with her. But, is Lilith? Apparently not close enough because it sounds like she made a deal to ditch Hell and go to Heaven. Now that we know that Lucifer and Lilith split, might hint that their relationship wasn't actually great. Because of what the Apple did, it sent both her and Lucifer to Hell. Maybe she held resentment towards him. I know they said she thrived in Hell, but... Fuck, who knows now? Because that bitch said "bye~".
I think Lilith kept Charlie away from Lucifer. During "More Than Anything" we see a flashback with little Charlie and Lucifer. She goes to see her dad and, you know, with the idea of Lucifer-isn't-a-great-father you'd think he'd shut her out of his workspace. He didn't though, he welcomed her into his room and even showed her something beautiful he was working on. It was Lilith that walked in and took Charlie away from the room. We don't even get to see her face which is ominous.
Maybe she kept Charlie away because she wanted to make sure she didn't turn out like her dad? A dreamer, doing crazy shit, trying to change things? Well, that failed.
There's also the situation of Lucifer not contacting Charlie much after Lilith left. I've seen people say: "Well, why didn't he try talking to her after his wife left"? Maybe he thought Charlie was in better hands with Lilith. He saw how much Charlie trusted her mom and, with his depression, he probably figured Charlie was doing okay without him.
Welp... Turns out, no. Lilith said bye and went to Heaven. And didn't contact Charlie for SEVEN FUCKING YEARS! She left Lucifer alone AND Charlie alone. I really think she manipulated the both of them.
I know we're all hoping this isn't true but as Lute said to Lilith "If you want to stay here then you're going to go deal with that bitch".
... I really think Lilith is the culprit here in Lucifer and Charlie's relationship. She fucked up. I think she seriously got in their heads somehow, making them distant.
Guess we'll wait and see.

I might be pissing off a bunch of people today with this post.
Spoiler alert if you haven't seen or played Poppy Playtime chapter 3 yet.

'The Hour of Joy'. Makes no sense to me. Among so many other things, I posted about this game yesterday because of how confusing it is.
So, during the Hour of Joy, over 100 people were killed. Employees, visitors, and probably security. Factory shut down.
And you're telling me not a single person investigated this place when it suddenly went quiet? Like, stores who wanted Playtime toys on their shelves weren't complaining and people got suspicious. Or people who's relatives died that day didn't wonder "Hey, I haven't heard from them in days, maybe I should report a missing person". Like, no one thought about going to the factory to see what happened?
I posted about this in a YT comment section, and one person responded to me saying "Well, the police might have gone and died because they didn't have the grab pack to help like we do".
That makes no sense. At all. If police did go there and died, that would actually raise more alarms to people. Because then the FBI would be involved and then they could die. And then the army might be involved, like it just stacks up. SWAT teams would be going in there by now.
Also, the Grab Packs. Why was no one wearing them on the day of the massacre? The game made it seem like employees were just walking around with these things all day but, none of them were wearing the packs. What, did like the toys find a way to lock them up or something? That would make sense but then how would the doors open that day? How would the building open? You can't open the doors without them. I'm not saying keys don't exist but, the whole game, we've been using the pack and keys weren't introduced until chapter 3.
Poppy's case opened because of our pack, not a key. We've been opening doors with puzzles, not a key.

There's something I can't get past with Poppy Playtime. And there's a lot of things I can't get past in this weird horror game.
The cardboard cut-outs with recordings.
... How do they work?
Like, for example, the Smiling Critters in the new chapter. Each of them has disturbing recordings that ends with either screaming or just a depressing or sad last sentence. And, of course, there's me who's saying: "When... Were those recorded? Who recorded them?".
Like, I get it, it's to set the tone of the fact that this place is fucked up. But, like, when did these living murderous or murdered toys find the time to record these?
Is it the Prototype messing with us? Just randomly placing these cut-outs with fucked-up recordings that he recorded himself?
... That's kind of funny, now that I've typed that out. He's just bored and, as he watches us in the building, decides: "... You know what? I'm going to mess with this motherfucker."

Damn... Roald Dahl wasn't a good person, was he.
Like... Anti-Semitic that he didn't mind Hitler's actions bad.
His family apologized for his actions but what are the chances that they're just like him and just want to make sure his books are still sold?
I haven't read his books and I think I never will. I heard they went through a censorship, they were so bad. Racism, sexism, fat shaming, probably Anti-Semitic stuff hidden somewhere, who knows at this point.
I can't say this will stop me from liking the movies, but I definitely can't watch them now, without seeing the issues.
Like, for example I personally prefer Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka movie. It feels like they were trying to make the story more approachable, bright, and interesting without it being too dark. Still dark, but not too much. Because all of Roald Dahl's stories are fucking dark, but in a bad way.
But, I can't look past the Oompa Loompas. They clearly represent slavery and, correct me if I'm wrong, an African tribe(?).
Again with Gene Wilder's movie, it felt like they were trying to make the Oompa Loompas not look anywhere near that representation? Completely orange skin, fancy green hair, silly suits, speak perfect English, they hired only white men to play as them. But, it still doesn't hide the original intention.
Tim Burton's adaption didn't fucking help... That entire movie is loyal to the book and... Wow, yeah, let's just say I wasn't interested in reading the actual book.
I dunno... Very weird situation, but it feels like a lot of the movies left out some of his original intentions from his books and tried to improve them? Maybe? I may have to watch them all again and see.
... I think he even cheated on his wife. I could be wrong though, but I did come across that in an article.
But, yeah. Wow. Roald Dahl. Very disappointing.

Anyone else noticed the favoritism people have for Elves in Dragon Age?
It's almost... Creepy. Like I've seen people disregard the suffering of others in Dragon Age and be like "tHe eLvES wErE eNsLAvEd tHeY hAd iT wOrSE".
Yes. They were enslaved. First by their own people who were basically the first Magisters. Then after Solas brought the Veil to existence, it was humans. Yes, the Elves had it bad.
And so did the Dwarves. Who were also enslaved but by the Titans. The Titans had complete control over the dwarves, making them mindless slaves. Once the Veil came, the Dwarves were cut-off from the Titans and freed. Not all of them, but plenty. Then over the years, humans made a mistake and brought Darkspawn into the world. They were pushed underground which killed millions of dwarves, almost making them extinct, lost their homes and history. A lot of their history is, or was, just as lost as Elven history.
I'm not saying the Elves aren't interesting and cool but it feels like it's all anyone cares about. To the point that I was even like "Of course... It's elf related. What a surprise. Nothing new here".
