Jack Spicer reminds me of Red Son/Red Boy from Journey to the West/ Lego Monkie Kid!! I was skemching him, I know how rough this is but it’s just a dooodol of him with some slightly more inhuman details :o

I have virtually no experience animating (just started today) and didn’t use a reference I just thought about how the squiddos would squidbag and just-- he squidbag  I’m sure there’s a lot I should start learning, especially when it comes to consistency and avoiding those wobbly inconsistent parts + just how things move in general, but for a quick test it was fun  I would like to do some actually clean art though it’s been a while (since the meme templates) but I’m just . needing excuses to do it  Edit: The meme is “You’re a kid now, you’re a squid now” but is Jack Spicer actually a kid? The wiki apparently doesn’t know either. :stickbug: I’d say he’s close to 20 ish in my mind

Small Update on What I’m Planning

I can’t post for a little bit, but I’m looking forward to getting into animation for specifically Jack Spicer content. 

There’s a lot I can’t tell you until I have 100% confirmation that it’s happening, but let’s hope it all works out!  Hashtag not yet a professional artist but we’re getting pretty close to it becoming a real possibility now 👀

Not sure if I’m going to do any illustrations for MerMay, but I did at rough out a concept design looking thing for Mer-folk Jack Spicer!

He is a siren and the screeching/wailing thing now makes extra sense (also he do be glowing in the deep dark depths where he likes to reside) when he puts his goggles on they look like fish eyes :^)

I decided to play a little with that FNF silhouette sketch from earlier--

He’s still not holding anything, and it’s all really rough, but just a fun little dlc concept. (Edit: I meant mod! Arceus dlc on the brain haha) 

Maybe if he had the Ying Yang yoyos, good jack could make an appearance in the plot of the mod somehow.

Oh look it’s a quick concept sketch of Jack Spicer’s Silhouette from Friday Night Funkin

As this was a first go to just sort of get down the general look, I’m not sure if I’d give him an fnf style face or something a bit like his silhouette suggests. I’d also have him hold something, I just couldn’t think of anything specific. Maybe I’d animate him with the Ying Yang Yoyos? And his eyebrows would be fun to exaggerate in that style. I don’t know how to animate yet, so you’re probably going to have to wait a while before I post anything like that, but that isn’t to say I won’t try in the future. I’m specifically interested in tweening for these sorts of character animations. There’s a few things I would change here, but for a random doodle it’s alright.

I'll be truthful, I don't know much about her other than her being a little girl from the Powerpuff girls, and so I wouldn't personally ship them even if she's supposed to be aged up--

I see her as a child, and he's at the very least a young adult in his late teens.

(I believe the reason they are paired together is something arbitrary like both having red hair/similar color schemes, but don't quote me on that.)

I definitely don't have all the facts on it, so I'm sorry I couldn't give a more thoughtful response. But thank you so much for asking, and if that art is yours, it's really cute! Your lines are really smooth!

Quick alterations just because I felt like it-- these can also be used as memes if you see any you like!

 I didn’t spend a lot of time on them so they’re missing color/small details I otherwise would have put in. 

The more I draw him, the more I learn. His anatomy though? I do be a littol confusion (Not to mention his goggles)

Finished the second template. It has a few different styles and expressions :^) don’t know how useful it’ll be as a meme, but <3 I wanted to make it anyway, and like before this one is okay for anyone to use!  (The finished version of the wip from before. You’ll see I changed some things)
