Mmm’kay, so I just found out that Tom Holland shaved his hair for a movie roll, and went looking through the backlash for it, and honestly, its appalling. Like, I love Tom, and consider myself a big fan, but those reactions.

People are freaking out, saying its horrible, how he was cruel for doing it, calling the action ‘audacious’. And??? Its??? His hair???? Like, he can do whatever he wants with it. He is a person, like you and me. And he deserves respect. You don’t own his hair. Noone except for Tom does, and if you can’t handle it you shouldn’t call yourself a fan, you shouldn’t say you like Tom. Because that isn’t liking, loving or adoring. That is controlling, obsessive and considered abusive action. So leave him alone, or support his decision. Those are the only valid options.

Billy’s possible role with everyone if he had lived and been given a second chance.

Hopper: hopper could have worked at a GOOD father figure for Billy. Someone for him to look up to.

Joyce: could have been the mother he was longing for. She could show him love and that some people still care.

Jonathan: new best friend? They both have kinda crap fathers and don’t really care what people think of them. Plus they both like to stay to themselves. They also have similar tastes in music. And Jonathan could have shown him how to deal with his anger in a creative way. (Artwork, music, etc.)

Eleven and Max: Max is already his sister but now he could have had eleven too. The relationship with max could have been repaired and as a result of pulling him out of the mindflayer’s control eleven and him might have got closer too.

Steve: after apologizing and getting over his ego billy and Steve could be friends. They both like basketball and their hair and could trade hair secrets while also b-balling it up at Steve’s house. I’m not sure that they would be too close but they could still be friends.

Will Byers and Stranger Things

Will Byers is a sensitive boy, reminds me of me and brother, so I have such a connection towards that kid!

People questioned his sexuality in just tiny scenes in the show that last for a second or two and outside of it in real life.

If Will Byers turns out not to be Queer but Hetero, do not go through some of those tired ”kill the Duffers”, ”they're anti-gays/anti-queer”, ”evidence that he is gay”--the same said if Will turns out to be Ace. Or if he turns out to be Gay. No problems in regards of those three or more.

But remember! Just because a character you headcanon as queer doesn't end up as one, does not mean the creators are homophobes!

All of you are pretty much aggressively wanting your headcanon to be canon so bad that you are deluding yourselves enough that you attack people's post and sent death threats to the actors/actress (especially the kids) and the Duffer Brothers if they won't allow Will to be a certain way!

The gall this fandom has! All of you, not everyone, but all of you have gone too far!

No more of the tired attacks and insults!! The Stranger Things fandom is starting that terrible road of being toxic!

Once again. Just because a character you headcanon as queer doesn't end up as one, does not mean the creators are homopobes or assholes!

Understand that the evidence of the script that has Will questioning his sexuality(thats been going around Tumblr with people acting that is proof of Will is Gay) is an old script from the original Pilot version of ST called The Montauk Monsters.

You can download that whole thing in pdf at Google and check for yourself!

It's the same but really different from the final product called Starnger Things.

You people do know that Creators like the Duffer Bro--and myself--do change characters, plots, storylines, and etc, at any stage of development development--even if it's complete? Right?

I understand as a Queer woman myself that seeing a young kid like Will going through the motion of being different in a world that might not accept you. Because me, a young Latina girl does not follow societies normality. I wanted to have fun about games and comics and not talk about boyfriends, and later, girlfriends! I just wanted to act my childish age. It's tough and heartbreaking since I'm a woman, Queer, and POC---three things society does not care for.

The same can be said with my brother who is Hetero and Latino. A very sensitive boy who enjoys playing games and has no interest in talking about girls. A boy who has no interest in sports unless it comes out on the PlayStation or a Wii. A boy who is not interested in girls at the time during middle school, high school, even college. He had no interest in talking about women unless they were from Mortal combat or street fighter. He does love women but he's practical and prefers a career first before romance. I see a lot of Will Byers in my brother more then I could ever know. It's tough for my brother as he doesn't fill society's view of male toxicity of showboating and acting feral. Tough that he is Latino, man, sensitive and not what society values.

The Duffer Brothers created Stranger Things as a loving tributes of the best 80s pop culture that they grew up with.

All I'm saying is just enjoy the show and respect the cast and creators and respect the story!
