Recently finished my floristry level 1 course, and I have loved every bit of it. I really enjoy making wreaths. I find it's the only creative process that doesn't feel like a chore or job. I don't have that pressure to create it perfectly. I just enjoy the process, which is exactly what I love.
Started a little illustration series of drawing seasonal fruits, veggies and flowers in the UK. It is more for fun and to excerise my illustration skills, but can i get your guy's opinion on them please ☺️ ✨️🙏. I am on a journey of finding who i am as an artist and any critiques are welcome!

Note to self: say no the next time family or friends ask you to be the photographer at thier wedding. Props to the people who do that for a living, it's fucking exhausting.
It seems I fall into drawing or painting dogs for family and friends 😅 Went from having a 8 year creative gap to creating 4 pieces just for Christmas gifts! This is Bonnie the wee Boston Terrier! I used Krita and Affinity designer to paint her. First time using digital painting software and I love Affinity ngl. ❤️
My step mother lost her parents close together, and she had a favourite photo for each of her parents taken from back in the 1950s. As a memorial tribute I decided to draw her favourite photos as her originals were so worn. Graphite pencil used ✏️ ♥️
Over Christmas I drew Apple the Spaniel! It was for a present for a good fried of mine. It took around a week to complete and it was so fun to draw. It had been a while since I had done anything remotely creative for myself. Lock down gave me to chance to breathe into it again. Graphite and fine line pen is definitely my medium of choice!
Kept this one a secret from here for a few years. To be honest I've become far more reluctant to use social media over the past 4 years, in turn becoming a far more private person. I grew to appreciate my life as mine and not everyone else's. Mental health is incredibly important and standing back from sharing your life online and being more present in living your moments is invaluable. So this will be an application post to the man who showed me how amazing life can be. I love you.
So, I finally got my dream tattoo that I have been mulling over for the past 14 years. The ginkgo leaf illustration i drew is extremely important to me and my identity. Its sentimental and also my style. I searched for the right person that I trusted to create the best version if my drawing on my skin. And I found her! I love my tattoo. Its been a year now since I had it done and I love it all the more. Abi is my local tattoo artist, check her out :)
Really practiced my floral embroidery techniques and font with this lil hoop. Was really hard 😪 but I'm happy with it. Made for my sister this Christmas 🎄
