I feel like everyone has a strong opinion on what color each virus is....
so I'm going to stir up some shit by talking about mine
T-virus: neon green
G-virus: more on the blue side of purple
NE-T-virus: bright red
Progenitor virus: middle/dark blue
T-Veronica virus: yellow-green
Las Plagas parasite: pale purple
Uroboros virus: dark orange
C-virus: traffic light yellow
T-Phobos virus: pink/salmon
Neo T-virus: pumpkin orange
A-virus: pale blue(the first strain is more purplish, the second is just blue, and the third is more greenish)
T Abyss virus: warm brown
T+G- virus: dark cyan or turquoise
P30 control drug: blood red
Mold: greenish black

ok, just woke up from a dream that was kinda just RE crack, thought I'd share. please imagine all of the following to the benny hill music
RE4 Leon getting hit in the back with a bluetooth speaker(don't know who threw it)
Various characters(I think Chris, Wesker and Steve) climbing up a cliff wall, but when it was Steve's turn, he got hit in the face with a rubber ball and fell
Wesker having a very hard time with a three path obstacle course for no reason
also robocop was in it, but I don't remember what he was doing

Intrest Check
I was going to try writing a fanfic taking place between RE5 and RE6 a bit after Vendetta. not really focused on any well known characters. a therapy group of people who survived various canon and non-canon outbreaks and how they are trying to get their lives back together. and how they cope when their worst nightmare resurfaces and a new outbreak begins. a real character piece about how these things effect normal people, not the cops or agents or bad guys, just normal people.

Just ran across a vid of Wesker cutscenes from RE5 and felt obliged to speak my piece about why he's a tragic character. Ok, ok, ok, I know that almost every RE blog has this post, but I just have to contribute my own ok?
the flashbacks that tell us the truth are from the perspective of him dwelling on what happened at the Spencer Estate. even though he's still going through with his plan, its nagging at the back of his mind, seemingly all the time. he found out too late what had been done to him, how none of his life was ever really his. he was forced to question everything he thought was right. his every goal was planted in his head by Spencer, who was only going to use him. that's when he spiraled out of control. everyone says that RE5 ruined his character, but really he was just different because he found out that everything he was working towards was still for Umbrella, even though he fought so hard to break free of them. he still has his beliefs, but he doesn't trust himself that they're his. he thought what he was doing was for the 'greater good', but in reality it was just for the same corporate greed. the truth of the driving force of his actions was human greed. humans as a whole might have been what he hated most, but the reasons for everything he's done was all the horrible, selfish, undeniably human greed of one man. maybe he regretted the things he'd done, knowing the truth, but he was in too deep. he didn't see a way out. no matter how much he tried, he couldn't know with any certainty that any of himself was really him. because no one had ever asked him about himself, or cared what he thought. he had been used, for violence, for destruction, for results. the only positive reinforcement he ever got was when he accomplished something. he never knew love, because no on ever loved him, and he never got the chance to love anyone. he might have felt guilt, but he didn't know what to do with it. he didn't know how to fix anything, so he did the only thing he thought could get him out. he must have known that his plan would never work. from what is shown, Uroboros has to be injected or has to come into contact with an open wound, so it wouldn't spread as a gas. and the moment in the back of the plane, when he and Chris have their guns pointed right at each other's heads. Chris doesn't shoot because part of him still sees his captain. Wesker doesn't shoot because on a subconscious level, he wants Chris to win. the whole impossible plan is all a way for him to destroy Spencer's plans. he wants to drive all of Spencer's work into the ground. and he's part of Spencer's work. he had to have known that Uroboros would be unstable, but he took it anyways. he was falling apart from the viruses he already had, the way he need those injections from Excella. and the way he was acting by the point he's getting on the plane, isn't like he thinks he's coming back. he got rid of Excella. everyone he'd ever worked with was dead. he had no way of telling that they weren't part of Spencer's manipulation. so they all had to go. hell, why was the plane in the perfect position to fall into an ACTIVE VOLCANO? he knew exactly where he would end up when he got on the plane.

Story Time
Was at my moms place for a weekend visit and played RE4 to show my younger brother how to get past Del Lago and after that I played some Mercenaries.
now here's the point in the post where you ask why I'd post about this.
the answer is simple. my mom comes in and decides to traumatize me and my brother by commenting that she thinks Krauser is hot.

S.T.A.R.S halloween shitpost (headcannons of course)
everyone's costumes are as follows
Chris: either werewolf or clown
Jill: sheet ghost
Wesker: vampire(he didn't really want to come, but he's gonna put the effort in if he has to)
Barry: hot dog, or some other joke costume
Rebecca: witch
Ima go with a halloween party(even thou drunk Chris might try to Trick 'r' Treat)
party is gonna start at the RPD, and probably end up at someone's house after Irons kicks them out cause Chris got too drunk
I feel like they would all just kinda invite themselves to Wesker's house
hes not happy
he didn't even want to come in the first place, and he knows they're gonna wreck the place
they probably put on horror movies or something like that
everyone is kinda surprised, but if Wesker has something to drink he might mellow out a bit
I will die on this hill that he has a box of old halloween vinyl and a working record player buried someplace in the attic
just imagine the drunk stumbling of them all trying to find something in an attic on halloween
