Spring flowers bloom and burn

Under the summer's heated scorn

May the brightest star kiss our cheeks

Though we know she'll leave us scars

Out with the rain and in with the sun

And the winds that pull us adrift

We'll all live in our hot, melted minds

It's a pain we'll come to miss
