Zhongli is a dragon. But have y’all heard the story of the dragon’s nine sons (children in this case cuz Lingyuan is a she I’m guessing).
But Lingyuan isn’t the main point. Dan Heng is. Because our dear sweet green dragon is the dragon’s last son.
What I mean is: Since Zhongli is a dragon, that would technically make Dan Heng his son because Dan Heng is the green dragon. (And Lingyuan Zhongli’s child too because suanni is a child of the dragon)
Ok no I desperately need sleep now

Imagine…
You and Xiao taking a walk in the park at night and then he buys you food from a street vendor — to which you share with him (much to his protest). But he can’t for the life of him resist you because you’re his biggest weakness. And seeing your smile as you happily inhale the food has his heart going all soft.
He can’t help but put an arm around you, as if protecting you while walking down the street — looking at every stall the two of you passed. And you’d feel safe in his arms too — knowing that if anything or anyone tried to harm you in any way, he’s right there to protect you. This is Xiao we’re talking about. One who will go through hell and go through it again if it meant you’ll be safe and sound.
生日快乐魈宝!Even though it’s late…
This is just what I sometimes imagine my life would be like if I had a boyfriend 🥲🥲🥲

永别了,亲爱的 Farewell, My Beloved
Long overdue since Qingming has long since pass (oops).
Blade x gn! Reader
Takes place in game — not canon though
Warning: Chinese is used (English translation provided), angst hurt no comfort (first time writing this angsty)
Please read to the end for credits and reference.
━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙ ━━━━━━
Shoes echoes through the barren halls. The figure moves through the doorway, his steps slow. And then he stops. Right in front of the wall of name plaques. His red eyes scanned the whole wall, searching for a particular name and walking to it right as he spots it. He carefully pulls out a clean cloth — and with care, wiped down the plaque. It didn’t need to be cleaned, as workers everyday made sure all plaques are cleaned out of respect. Once he was done, he placed the bouquet of white chrysanthemums in front of it then sits down.
The figure couldn’t help but think of their death. Of the three that had to pay a price, he alone had to pay the biggest. He made a promise to them and he broke it. The what ifs began to speed through his head. He’s died once, and he wants to die again. He wishes he can be with them in the afterlife. That is, if Mengpo doesn’t make him drink her soup. Not that he could see them anyway. Not after what he’s done.
He places two cups and pulls out a jar of wine. After filling both cups, he took his and raised it — drinking it all after.
“I’m sorry,” was the first thing he said to them, “I’m sorry for dragging you into this mess.”
He wants to apologize but no matter what he says, he knows no explanation could cut it. It was his error in action. In emotion. There was no way words can express his regrets.
“我与你的记忆损乱了,“ a tear slips from his eye, “你长得什么样,我也记不了了。我也记不住你的声音了。我只能记得你的名字,但也记不了多久了。“ [Memories of me and you have been messed up… The way that you looked, I cannot remember. I also cannot remember your voice. I only remember your name, but I cannot remember that for long either.]
The figure sat in silence for a bit before starting once more, “当年,如果不是我,也不是丹枫的话,你今日该会是什么样了?你还会像以前一样跟景元玩象棋吗?跟丹枫看书?跟镜流和白珩逛街?或者跟我练功?” he drank another cup full of wine, “可惜,三个付出代价去了,一个早已离去,最后一个孤独的留在了罗浮。不知你和白珩有没有相遇。我想是。我们当时挣扎了好久,现在平安多了。你若在的话,肯定会喜欢现在罗浮的环境。“ [That year, if it wasn’t for me, and Dan Feng, what would you have been like today? Would it be like it was then, with you playing xiangqi with Jing Yuan? Reading with Dan Heng? Shopping with Jing Liu and Baiheng? Or would you have been sparring with me? …. Sadly, three paid a price, one has departed, and the last one is left lonely on Luofu. I don’t know if you and Baiheng have caught up. I’d like to think you guys did. Our time was so messy, but Luofu today is much peaceful. If you were here, you’d definitely like Luofu today.]
Amidst his rambling, another figure approached. She stood right behind him, gazing up on the plaque.
“It’s time you wrap it up, Bladie.”
Blade hummed in acknowledgment, “Just a little more time.”
The lady stared at him a bit longer before sighing and heading out, saying she’ll be waiting for him at the entrance. After he was sure he was alone again, he spoke softly.
“是时候该走了。如果我没有捅你一刀,你今天应该还会在吧。对不起,这是我最后一次能看你了。仙舟没有我的地方了。在这个人生里,可能再也不会有人像你一样叫我的名字了。我永远也不可能是应星了。” [It’s time I should get going. If I didn’t stab you that day, you would probably still be here. I’m sorry, this is my last time seeing you. There’s no longer a place for me on Xianzhou. In this life, there will be no one to say my name the way you do. And I will never be able to be Yingxing anymore.]
Blade gets up and places the jar of wine next to the filled cup. After, he bows to the name plaque three times. Then, he turns and walks out of the room — leaving Luofu till his death arrives.
永别了。。。[Farewell…]
亲爱的。[My beloved.]
─── ∙ ↤THE END↦ ∙ ─---
I've been thinking, should I make banners specifically for the characters I write? Or would that be too much? Cuz right now, I can't decide on a banner for each story.
Qingming 清明: Called Tomb-Sweeping day in the west. People visit the graves of their deceased love ones. Even going as far as cleaning and retouching graves. It’s customary to offer food and wine (or other beverages they loved).
White Chrysanthemums: White flowers, mainly white chrysanthemums are placed during funeral and the dead. Don’t gift these to people please (unless you desperately wish for that person to perish).
Mengpo 孟婆: A deity in the underworld that gives passing souls her specialty called 孟婆汤 (mengpo soup) that would wipe their memories for their journey in their next life.
Bowing three times: I was taught this at a young age, but when bowing to gods and ancestors, you bow three times. Usually it’s very quick, but I like to take it slow (cuz I think it shows deeper respect).

Lmao not me seeing this 3 months later.
Imma need Hoyo to add it to their playlist even if it’s a collaboration cuz it’s too good not to.
I almost cried listening to it. It’s so emotional for no goddamn reason 😭😭😭 And how the hell do I know that feeling the song is describing? Like it just feels like longing. It probably has to do with the melody and lyric now that I’m thinking about it 😅
I’m just tagging anything I think will gain traction within Hoyo games cuz this song NEEDS to be heard. It’s too beautiful not to.

#staring at my chonkli plush
Coddling Zhongli in his tiny dragon form can have quite the hilarious consequences.
Chonky dragon Li wiggles a lot when you give him treats. His whole fluffy body just turns into a noodle as he eagerly makes grabby-paws at the food - something utterly endearing.
This, eventually, seeps into his human-form behaviour. When you bring him tea in the evening, he looks up from his book and starts wiggling with a small smile on his face; you're internally cooing at this grown man and thereby nearly drop the teacups.
Belly rubs are some of your miniature lover's favourite things to receive! Whenever he sees you, he's immediately on his back, paws curled, ready to get some love.
Human-form Zhongli is lying in bed later. When you enter the room a short time later, he immediately twists his body so he's belly up, fingers and toes curled.
Suddenly having realised this, he relaxes his posture, but it's too late - you're clutching your own stomach in peals of laughter. Sighing and turning his nose up, Zhongli leaves the room.
"Wait! Come back, Zhongli! I'll still rub your belly!"
Sometimes, you like to pick Chonkli up and sway him around gently, going, “My stinky husband! My stinky, stinky husband! Stinky!” The little creature mrrrps in delight, his tail swishing like a fan.
Later that evening at a social gathering where he's your plus-one, his introductions are a little off. “I’m Zhongli, Wangsheng consultant and (Name)’s stinky husband- oh, forgive me. I mean husband.”

Regarding Love & Deepspace Wallpapers
So I’ve tried uploading all of it on web version, but unfortunately that won’t work either. Idk what’s wrong considering I can upload long fics but not a bunch of pictures. I wonder if it’s the size. If it is then I’m gonna consider making a file of sort where you can download it (not google though cuz for me it always goes through like three different steps 😒). I’m not willing to sacrifice the quality of the image cuz I hate that fuzzy appearance.
Again, I’m so sorry I couldn’t upload it 😭😭

收下的香囊 Shōu Xià de Xiāng Náng
In ancient China, girls would give friends and love interests 香囊 (a sachet). If the love interest accepts, then he accepts to be her significant other. Proposal is a different case though, as it’ll be very costly for the man :)
Warning: Chinese is used (translation provided), not proofread, attempt on classification of things (i.e. a tree), a lot of culture drops, a few historical inaccuracies, anxiety (maybe near panic attack)
The story takes place in a Han dynasty-esque period (not really)
Dan Heng x gn! Reader (third pov)
Please read to the end for credits and explanations
Tumblr media
A warm glow emitted through the paper window at the dead of night. There a figure sat, weaving a needle between the silk fabric. Silken thread of teal jade** wrap around the woven fabric, drawing out the form of a teal jade dragon flying between mountains and amongst clouds. When the figure was done embroidering the body, they finished off the stitch and swapped the thread out for one of pure gold. This has to be perfect.
The next day, the figure leaves their room, opting to head down to the pavilion overlooking the koi pond. Maids hurriedly followed suit, carrying whatever the figure desired. And when they made it to the pavilion at last, the figure wasted no time and sat down — beginning their work immediately. They pulled out their work, already been strung on the loom and began stitching again. A gentle pink thread weaved this time, shaping out peach blossoms. A soft breeze passes through, swaying the liusu tree** a bit a way. I don’t have much time left. The figure thought, I only have a three days before I depart for the capital. I’m sure he’ll be there.
The figure worked well into the afternoon until their friend had come along bringing snacks to feast upon. She brought something to work on too, as it was customary for the two to do so.
“你今儿怎么这么不安呢?你这个香囊不是做了很久了吗?这已经看的很完美了,为何还要再加呢?” [Why are you so restless today? Isn’t this the sachet you’ve been working on for so long? It already looks perfect, why do you still want to add more?]
“前面是完美的。但后面的必须得要跟前面一样完美。” [The front is perfect. But the back needs to be as perfect as the front.]
“这么拼命啊。是要送给谁啊?等等,让我猜猜!是不是。。。丹王子**?” [You really are giving it your all. Who are you going to gift it to? Wait, let me guess! Is it… Prince Dan (Heng)?]
The figure looked up at their friend in shock, having never told her despite working on the sachet for a while.
“三月。。。你是怎么。。。” [March… how did you…] The figure trailed off, their whole face starting to heat up.
“这不简单嘛。我上次来看你的时候,你绣的那个图案是个青龙。咱俩之间知道的青龙不是丹王子的话,那还会是谁啊?“ [It’s simple. The last time I came to see you, the pattern you embroidered was a teal dragon. If the teal dragon isn’t Prince Dan (Heng) as we know it, then who else could it be?]
The figure looked at the work in their hands and remained silent as March stared at them. A period of silence held between them until the figure spoke, “Do you think he’ll accept it?”
“I don’t see why he’ll reject it.”
The figure sighs, a thumb running over the even stitches softly.
“He’s so aloof. I don’t know if he likes me or tolerates me to not…”
“To not…?”
“To not ruin his image.”
Rustling was all the figure heard before a pair of hands enclosed around theirs. They look up to see March looking at them with a smile.
“It’s okay. You go along with what you planned, and if he breaks your heart, I’ll go beat him up. Princely title or not. No one’s allowed to hurt you.”
Reassurance began to settle in within the figure’s heart and a smile quickly followed.
“Thanks March.”
Tumblr media
A day has since passed, the figure having finished their sachet before bed. The brass wind chime sang as they left their room, dressed thicker than usual. They still felt rather cold underneath layers, and the see-through silk did nothing to warm them. The figure tucked their hands in their sleeves while hurrying towards the carriage, the clicks of their muji** echoing through the courtyard. They nearly trip over themselves upon crossing the threshold as a gale races by. It’s times like these where the figure is thankful for choosing to apply beeswax** on their hair. A maid carefully helps the figure into the carriage, getting on after them. Right as they disappear behind the curtains, the carriage takes off for the capital.
Along the way, unease began to fester within the figure’s heart, unsure if Dan Heng will accept their sachet. They tried to calm themselves down, yet to no avail. When one worry is eased, another blooms. What if I’m too late and he’s already taken? The figure sighed.
“What’s wrong my liege?” The maid asked.
The figure shook their head and solemnly replied, “Nothing.”
The longer the ride became, the more nauseous the figure grew. Negative thoughts plagued their mind, many scenarios of them ending up heartbroken. Suddenly, the carriage feels more stuffy than usual. Yet at the same time, a cold feeling rushes down their body. As if reading their mind, the maid drew back the curtain for fresh air and comforted the figure.
“It’s okay my liege. His highness won’t reject you. I know it.”
“How?”
“Well it’s been quite the talk amongst us maids. Especially since your last meeting with him. We all saw how he looks at you.”
“What do you mean look at me? Isn’t he suppose to see?”
The maid giggled, “Not that kind. I mean yes, he is suppose to see. But I’m talking about those kinds. You know, the ones where a person yearns for the other?”
The figure is left confused. Never had they ever seen the look where one yearns for the other. Yet somehow, her words had left the figure feeling better.
Tumblr media
The figure’s legs were weak by the time they descended the carriage. Their maid held an arm, helping and guiding them through the street as they sought out a familiar face. And soon enough, they found him standing right in front shop. Upon approaching him, the figure could tell he’s been focused on staring at the neatly shaped rice papers — trying to choose between the different quality of paper. With their right hand on top and left on bottom the figure bowed** — mustered up courage and spoke, “Greetings, Dan Heng.”
His gazed snapped from the paper and onto the figure. A miniscule smile is seen, as he does the same: Left on top, right on bottom.
“Greetings.” he paused, observing the figure. “Are you well?”
Their hand clutched the sachet tightly — trying to remain composed, “Yes,” a deep breath, “I have something to give you.”
Dan Heng’s eyebrows raised at this. Something to give him? Him, of all people? The figure pulls out the sachet from their sleeves and with both hands, hands it to Dan Heng. He looks at it for a brief period and with two hands, accepts the sachet. And upon having it in his possession, he unravels the strings then loops it through his silk belt. The figure watched with wide eyes as the butterflies dissipate, leaving behind only warmth. Dan Heng looks up to see the figure, now his beloved, standing there meekly.
“从认识你的时候,我一直都没见过这样的你。原本活泼的你现在变害羞了。哎呀,你怎么会这么可爱呢?” [Since meeting you, I have never seen you like this before. The lively person you were, have now turned shy. Oh, why are you so cute?] He softly teased.
Upon hearing his comment, his beloved’s face started flaring — resulting them to hide behind their sleeve as they averted their gaze. Dan Heng giggled as his hand rose to lower their arms and cup the side of the face. They looked up at him as he brushed his thumb across their cheek. His hand lowered only to take a hold onto their hand, intertwining it. With a gentled tug, he led her deeper into the market, leading the couple to spend the rest of the day wandering from stand to stand with fleeting affection.
When their gaze met Dan Heng’s, they understood what those around them were saying. Dan Heng isn’t one to display emotions freely, yet his actions speaks louder than words. And his eyes — his eyes will always be the first to say how he’s feeling.
Tumblr media
We’ve all heard of method actors, and now get ready for method writers. No seriously though (TMI) I gave myself anxiety all because I was writing about MC getting anxious. What MC goes through is actually how my anxiety goes which is why I bring snacks or sour candy to hold down nausea. So I’m sorry that it sounds rushed. It doesn’t help that I bilingual too hard to the point that when even as I’m typing, my brain is just going “oonga boonga”. Anyways, here’s the cultural explanations and credits.
Teal jade is a literally a combo I made up. I’m under the assumption that Hoyo never truly confirmed if Dan Heng actually is 青龙。I know 青 translates to green, but in actuality, the green that is referred looks a little more blueish. Teal isn’t exactly it, but jade isn’t either. It’s very complicated to explain as it’s a color that isn’t really popular in the west. Think of the color this way, under certain lighting (and sometimes angle) the green will look more teal-ish. almost looking blue. Other times, it’ll have a more light jade color. I can’t remember the very ceramic style that uses this sort of “green”.
Liusu tree [流苏树] scientifically named Chionanthus retusus, is a tree with flowers that makes the tree look like it has lots of snow on it.
王子 means prince. Initially I had wanted to use 公子. But knowing how Xianzhou alliance had only allied with Vidyaharas, it only makes sense (in my brain at least) to have him be a prince. Not a king though, cuz that means they would have to meet and travel under different circumstances.
The use of muji 木屐 (commonly called ‘clogs’) can be dated as far back as pre Qin dynasty (Yellow emperor’s rule). It comes in many styles, very similar to how modern day slides look. Another style is one that is similar to geta. It remained popular until about the end of Song dynasty. Clogs are mostly worn in the south where there’s lots of rain and mud. Xishi is said of have worn clogs due to her insecurity of having big feet — so when she walked the skirt hid the clogs, but the clogs are still able to produce rhythms (think how catchy those rhythms must be).
Beeswax was used in ancient China as a way to hold back hair and to keep away fly-aways. Think of it as mousse or gel for ancient civilization.
Different dynasties had different ways of greeting each other. Though one thing remains roughly the same. Women (in this case feminine leaning) would have right hand on top, and left on bottom. Men are vice versa. The only time when it’s swapped are times like funerals. Although MC is gn, Dan Heng is masculine — thus to balance that out, MC would have to have a more feminine personality.
As for bowing, this depends on class. Kneeling or ketou 磕头 would not be done with (han-majority ethnic group) towards someone that aren’t parents. Of course, these are base rules as circumstances also apply — but it’s a good thing to note.
I wish I can attach links that I got these from, but I had obtained these info from the span of 2-3 years :’(. So if anyone finds these, feel free to link it so others who are interested can take a peak.

张敞画眉
This is a story loosely based off of a Chinese idion (the title of this story). The plot isn't the same, but the drawing of eyebrows still remains. There is no specific dynasty as inspiration.
Yingxing (Blade) x gn! Reader (third pov)
Warning: Chinese is used (translation provided), rushed, not proofread.
Type: Fluff, get a magnifying glass for angst
Please read to the end for credits!
Tumblr media
Yingxing slowly sat up from the bed, careful to not wake his slumbering spouse. He slowly lowered his legs until they have touched his shoes. As he pulled his shoes on, he shivered from the loss of warmth that was the blanket and his spouse. Before he got up, Yingxing turned back to insure that his spouse is still slumbering away. More of a reassurance really, as sleep is hard earned regardless of how valued it is by society. With silent steps, he worked around the room -- getting dressed then looking through the paper windows to see if someone had gone to notify the cook to start making breakfast. Every morning is like this for Yingxing. It must be. If the cook was running behind, then he himself would go and make breakfast. He'd be damned if he let his spouse starve.
When the peak of sun began to rise, Yingxing headed towards the bed with a heating bowl. Quietly and gently, he drew back the curtains that fully framed the bed as he sat there. Then with a warm hand, he reached out and gently shook his spouse awake. After a little bit of shuffling, his spouse finally sat up, rubbing their eyes. Yingxing's hand enclosed their raised arm, and gently tugged them closer to him. With a little help, his spouse sat on the edge of the bed, holding the heading bowl as Yingxing helped them with their shoes.
"Yingxing. I can do it myself," they said tiredly.
"I know, but it may be a long time until I can see you again," he states with a frown.
His spouse laughs, "You act like you're going to depart far west. We have time in the afternoon and evening."
Yingxing pouts, "But it's still not enough. I wish I didn't have to work as an official."
This gets his spouse to giggle more, "星星,你若不做的话,父亲可是会生气的。" [Xingxing, if you don't work, then father will get angry with you.]
He sighs with a smile, "You're right. He's probably going to think I've left you to fend for yourself. You've got yourself four parents."
"You're the one to talk. You also got yourself four parents," his spouse retorts.
The two look at each other with a large grin on their faces. After finishing tying the strings, Yingxing helps his spouse up as they make their way towards their wardrobe. He helped them with their sleeves, crossing the collars, tying it together, and helping them wrap the skirt around themselves. With that done, he sat them down in front of their vanity. Their hair was done, and the last but most daunting to his spouse: make-up.
"Look towards me."
Without a complaint, his spouse did as he said. Looking right at him. With stick in hand, he skillfully drew and filled in their eyebrows -- taking care to not hurt them by pressing on the scar to hard.
"I was scared that day," Yingxing spoke, voice shaking, "I hadn't realized that I was being targeted. I wasn't careful. And then someone made an attempt on your life."
A hand reached up and encased Yingxing's hand.
"I was scared too. It scarred me physically. My eyebrow became one of my biggest insecurities. But you helped me through it Yingxing. Every time I struggled to draw it, you always drew it for me. 过去的事已经早过去了。咱俩幸运,没丢命。我也没怪你。所以别再内疚了啊?" [Things that already happened have already happened. We're lucky, we didn't lose our lives. I don't blame you either. So don't feel guilty okay? ]
Yingxing placed a hand over theirs, "I won't."
Tumblr media
Things have been roughly the same for the past few days. Up until one day, when he entered the palace only to hear hurried hush whispers from those around him. That left him confused. Until he saw some whispering and pointing at him. Yet when their gaze caught his, they quickly turned the other way. Odd. He thought. As he approached the throne room, Yingxing racked his brain for things he could have done wrong. But none came to his mind. Surely he didn't drink too much. He can't afford to. And he couldn't have assaulted someone, for once again, he couldn't afford to. If he had done one bad thing, then his spouse would have to suffer with him -- if not more. And that he cannot allow.
When he got there, the whispering were nigh impossible to avoid now. Every now and then, he can hear his name slip from one of their mouths. Now, Yingxing is further confused. Did he really do something bad? His eyes scanned the room for a more welcomed, familiar face. Then finally, his eyes sets on familiar teal green hues. Quickly, he makes his way towards the figure.
"Dan Feng," he called out.
Dan Feng's gaze darts up and looks straight at an approaching Yingxing.
"Yes?"
"Do you know what's happening? Why are there so much whispering? And why are they looking at me?"
Dan Feng looks at Yingxing and then shakes his head, "I don't know the answer to that either."
Yet just as Yingxing was going to question Dan Feng further, someone shouts that the emperor is about to arrive. Everyone scrambled to their places, bowing upon the emperor's arrival. And after he sat down, did the rest of the ministry sit down. All remained relatively silent with ministers throwing each other glances.
"Yingxing."
He perked up at the call of his name and automatically stood up then bowed, "Yes, your majesty?"
"Stand in front of me."
Yingxing did as he was told, staying bowed before the throne.
"Take a seat."
And he did just that. Yet his mind was reeling. He didn't know what he could have done wrong.
"I was told of your treatment towards your spouse."
That done it. Yingxing's head shot up looking at the emperor with wide eyes.
"What does your majesty mean?"
"Tell me. How do you treat your spouse?"
And so, with a very detailed description, Yingxing accounted how he usually went about his day. Then, when he was done, all fell into silence once more. That made Yingxing sink a little. I must have spoken too much. He thought.
"You said you drew her eyebrows for her yourself."
"Yes. Your majesty."
The emperor only hummed in response. After a period more of silence, the emperor finally spoke up once more, "A true gentleman indeed. Your spouse is lucky to have you."
"I'd like to think it the other way around, your majesty," but he automatically shut up and looked towards the floor, wanting to sink into it.
The emperor laughed, snapping Yingxing out of his trance.
"Yes yes indeed! Stand witness to what Yingxing described today. I expect all of you to be this way towards your spouses!" The emperor paused and thought for a minute before beckoning a eunich, "Send someone to the doctors. Have them work on an ointment to soothe the skin. Then lead Yingxing there."
The eunich bowed before quickly taking off. Yingxing couldn't believe what he is hearing. Him? A role model? An ointment?
"I'm feeling rather joyous. Today's meeting shall end here," the emperor stated as he left laughing. The ministry bowed as he went.
Tumblr media
After getting his ointment, Yingxing went straight to the only person he knows he can talk to. He just has to hope that his dear friend isn't training. And to his luck it seems, he isn't.
"Jing Yuan!"
The said man stops and turns towards the voice, seeing Yingxing quickly walking towards him.
"Yo. How's it feel knowing that the emperor is pleased with the way you treat your spouse?"
"Oh shut it will you?" Yingxing said through gritted teeth.
"Sorry sorry."
Yingxing only rolled his eyes at that, "I thought I was going to die."
"I highly doubt it given how attached you are to your spouse."
"Jing Yuan!"
"Okay okay! I'm sorry!"
By the time Yingxing got back to his manor, he finds his spouse embroidering while finches played in front of them. Right after he cleared his throat, his spouse's head shot up.
"Are you okay?" was the first thing they asked him. He nodded slowly. Seeing how tired Yingxing is, his spouse took him by the sleeve and dragged him inside and then sent maids to fetch dinner.
"Here, for you," he said as he held up the package.
"What's this?"
"The emperor heard about me, and your condition," he rubbed his neck, face flushing red, "And then he gifted me this to give to you. It's grades higher than what we have."
"That much is obvious," his spouse paused, "Thank you, Yingxing."
He smiled. Knocking came from beyond the door as maids enter, bringing in trays full of food. The smell of each wafting into the air, filling the room. Yingxing's stomach rumbled, prompting his spouse to giggle. He looked down at the table embarrassed.
But upon lifting his gaze, he sees more than usual. He looked towards his spouse, eyebrows raised.
"I thought you might be really hungry after returning more tired than usual."
“多谢了,亲爱的。” [Thank you, my beloved.]
Yingxing gave his spouse a shy smile before sitting down with them and digging in, chatting the rest of the night away.

I don't know if I should start adding word counts for the actual story. I don't think people care much about it. But that's just my opinion.

Droplets of rain falls upon scaled roofs as a figure in silks walks the covered pathways. They walk until they have reached the pavilion. Before them stands a wooden table surrounded by chairs, overlooking the creek. The fan in the figure’s hand sways back and forth, creating a gentle gusts of breeze — successfully cooling the figure down.
“Are you not cold?” A masculine voice asks, prompting the figure to turn their head to the source quickly. There the man stood, his court had replaced by his casual ones, robes of pink matching the peony carefully tucked into the hat. He’s relaxed, but still poised. An arm held at the front, and one folded behind. Stature fitting one of a high ranking official.
The man smiles as he sees the look the figure adorned.
“你这么久了都不说话,在想什么呢?” [You haven’t spoken for a while. What’s on your mind?]
The figure shakes their head, “Nothing, Jing Yuan.”
The man, Jing Yuan, hums and nods as he sat down beside the figure. Following their gaze, his eyes lands on a cherry blossom tree with its petals drifting through the air in the rainy wind.
“这个树的花儿都快落完了。真可惜啊,咱这儿只有这一个樱花树。” [The blossoms on this tree have almost fallen completely. It’s a shame, since we only have this one cherry blossom] The figure said ever so softly, still fanning themselves.
Jing Yuan smiled as he reached for their unoccupied hand. Upon taking their hand in his, the figure turned towards him curiously.
“那么。。。咱们明日去樱花园,如何?” [Then… how about we go to the cherry blossom garden tomorrow?] he said with a tender voice as he held their hand. The figure blinked at him and then a small smile bloomed upon their face.
“Then I’ll hold you up to that deal.”
Jing Yuan can only nod as many sets of footsteps sounds from behind them. Maids carrying wooden food boxes and trays of teas quickly fills the space around the two. The maids work quick, placing the assortment of treat boxes on the table and taking the lids off of them. When their job was done, they all stood back to the side. The figure’s eyes widen when they were met with all of their favorite treats. Their attention quickly turns to Jing Yuan, only to see him still smiling.
“When did you…”
“Just before I left. I told auntie that you might want these later in the afternoon.”
“Jing Yuan I… thank you.”
“There is no need to thank me. It’s what I should do. And it’s what I promised your parents.”
The figure smiles as they reach for one and splits it in half. With that done, they hand a half to Jing Yuan while he looks at the figure bewildered. The figure giggled, thinking the look Jing Yuan wears to be rather cute.
“两个人一起吃会更好吃。” [The food will taste better when two people are eating it.]
Jing Yuan takes the half and carefully bites down on it as the figure does the same. Sweet red bean suddenly took over his taste buds while he savors it. He looks towards the figure as they do the same. And upon locking gazes, the two held it in silence before breaking out into fits of giggles. It must have been infectious as the maids too began laughing.
All the while, the last of the cherry blossoms drifts off with the rain and wind.

Y’all I’m so sorry :( I’m trying to post the wallpapers I made but like it just wouldn’t post. It keeps saying it “hit a snag”. It’ll have to be further delayed until I can figure out what’s happening.
I’m so sorry 😭😭😭

To add, if y’all want, you can send me asks for any characters you want. It’s either first come first serve or whichever is more popular. I also don’t know if my asks works, so if it doesn’t, kindly comment on this post and I’ll try to fix it. I am NOT taking personal requests, it’s just people recommending me which character wallpaper I should make. If you do send me a personal request, I am going to just ignore it. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Here’s the fandoms I’ll make wallpapers for:
Love and Deepspace
Genshin Impact
Honkai Star Rail
Nier (Replicant)
NieR: Automata
Drakengard 3
Fire Emblem Three Houses
Rules are as easy as it gets. Keep it respectful, keep it kind, don’t push or rush me (literally don’t plz cuz my anxiety will act up and I will get sick 😭) and no nsfw 🔞 things. Ain’t my jam.
And yes, none of these are commissioned because I don’t trust myself enough to start commissions (doing this really is just a way to cure my boredom and a fun little thing I enjoy).
Feel free to @ anyone or repost to those who might want these.

Here’s some of the wallpapers I already made. These specifically have pearls and no pearls version. Another thing to note, this was made specifically for iPhone 11. So if you have any iPhone or phone beyond that, the wallpaper may not work. I might make a masterlist for phone types.
No pearls version:

Pearls version:

No Zayne yet sadly. But it is in the works. These are just what I have already made.

Okay so this is nothing relating to HSR or Genshin but rather Love and Deepspace.
Bro. Y’all. I fell down a rabbit hole and now won’t stop fawning over them. Especially Xavier.
And how exactly do I ease my ever so erratic heart? I make endless wallpapers for my phone and iPad.
So here’s a question:
If I make wallpapers of HSR, Genshin, and L&D characters, would you guys like them?
Here’s my phone Lock Screen and Home Screen for what I mean:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I might also make icons I might also not. It might have to depend on the kind of wallpaper.
And please do reply or at least repost so I know y’all want one. And if you do, tell me what kind of device you have so I can proportion the canvas right :)
Remember if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it. Constructive criticism is allowed.

If it Means to Remain by Your Side pt. 2
I realized well after posting my last post, that I forgot to include things that characters will use and the educational descriptions. Please read through it all, and please patiently await as I outline then draft chapter 1. Anyways, buckle up y’all we are going to go on an educational ride today💀 (more under the cut!!)
Weapons/Instruments Characters wield
Dan Heng - qiang 枪, guqin 古琴
Reader - jian 剑, liu xing chui 流星锤 (mid to later half), dizi 笛子 (mid to later half)
Jing Yuan - guan dao 关刀, xiao 箫 (not 魈)
Blade/Yingxing - heng dao横刀
March - bow
Yukong - bow,
Tingyun - guqin 古琴
Jingliu - qixing dao 七星刀
Baiheng - jian 剑
Yanqing - jian 剑
Ruan Mei - han dao 汉刀
Luocha - jian 剑
Xueyi - bow, herself
Hanya - yan ling dao 雁翎刀
Qingque - fan
Fu Xuan - butterfly swords 蝴蝶刀
Guinaifen - jian 剑
Sushang - None
The Educational Ride
Qiang 枪:This is the basic form of spear in Chinese weaponry. What sets qiang apart from guan dao is the blade. Qiang iis double-edged whereas guan dao is only single-edged. It’s also pointier which makes this weapon good for piercing or stabbing. This is actually a weapon used by Dan Heng in game.
Jian 剑:The most basic form of sword when searching up Chinese swords. Though if wanting to use a more detailed term, these swords are Daoist swords. Jian is used mostly in taiji forms like Wudang, Yang, Chen, etc. Training jian are more flexible. Like other Chinese, this sword also has tassels. This type of sword was carried more by Daoists, nobles and upper class figures than soldiers. The hilt and guard can be especially decorated depending on the patron.
Liu xing chui 流星锤:This is a more neolithic weapon in Chinese history. It has a ball on one end of the rope and a knife on the other end. It’s a rather difficult weapon to wield due to it’s flexible nature.
Guan dao 关刀:A type of glaive. The name of this weapon came from a general named Guan Yu 关羽。 Stories also says that it is a rather heavy weapon to wield, and that Guan Yu himself was a man with immense strength. But of course it’s all stories. Only one side is sharp, but that isn’t the most notable feature. The most notable feature is the curvature of the blade along with an extra small curve that usually holds a tassel. It can be thick or skinny. The closest resemblance to this weapon would be naginata. ( though there are strong hints that naginata is inspired by this weapon). Jing Yuan himself actually uses this weapon in game.
Heng dao 横刀:Or otherwise known as Tang dao 唐刀 is a sword used during Tang dynasty. It is a build similar to that of a kitana, though straightened. It can be wielded either by foot, or on horseback.
Qi xing dao 七星刀:Unfortunately, I don’t really have any information on this sword except for the fact that it looks like heng dao and a scimitar mix. I saw this in a video of Chinese weapons, and though I may be able to find it on Chinese sites, I fear translation will not translate things accurately. I would add another variant, Da dao 大刀 (more commonly known as battle da dao 抗战大刀) but because of it’s imprint on reason history, I also fear that it may be too controversial of a blade to include.
Han dao 汉刀:As the name suggests, this sword originated during Han dynasty. And it is the “predecessor” to Tang dao and many others that came after Han. One noticeable feature about this blade is the lack of hand guard, thus giving this sword a more straight figure.
Yan ling dao 雁翎刀:This sword is THE most closest looking to a kitana, though it is unsure whether or not this sword was even inspired by a kitana. Like it’s predecessors Han and Tang dao, the tip stops diagonally. And similarly to Qi xing, it has a more circular guard.
Butterfly swords 蝴蝶刀:Compact design yet an effective weapon all the same. It’s not very clear when these swords originated, it may have been Qing dynasty, but again, it’s not clear when it originated. It can come in many shapes, though most popularly with a wider blade. Though it should also be mentioned that narrow ones exist. These blades make a perfect piercing blade.
Fan 扇子:It can be delicate, but when made with right materials *cough* metal *cough*, it can become lethal. Small needles or knives can be used along with it to cut, but just full body metal itself can make a great blunt weapon.
A thing to note: You may have noticed, but weapons that ends with 刀 have a single-edged blade. It doesn’t mean that the blade is curved. Tassels are also mentioned (I think twice). In martial arts, tassels are used to distract/blind the opponent.
Guqin 古琴:The classic right after guzheng (古筝)。This is instrument is favored by many, especially scholars. The strings are made with silk though nowadays, nylon strings are also an option. A gentle quiet tone, yet hold clarity akin to glass. I don’t know why many popular media portrays them as fighting instruments when the requirements of this instrument itself is the opposite of what would be suitable for fighting. Mainly nails. Unlike pipa 琵琶, sanxian三弦, and guzheng, guqin doesn’t have the need to have false nails (usually made of shell of some sort though I’m sure nowadays, it’s either fiber glass or plastic). Which then means the player must have their nails (right-hand especially) grown out to pluck the strings. I don’t recommend plucking any string that is thick or metal with the pad of your fingers (unless you want blisters). Classic guitarists will know what I mean about the finger nails part.
Dizi 笛子:A bamboo flute played horizontally. There is a hole usually covered by a thin reed or tape (if the player really wants a muted sound that won’t trill). It comes in various sizes and keys. There is no designated mouth piece instead, there is a hole similar to other holes needed to be covered. It can be as decorated or as bare.
Xiao 箫:Another bamboo flute, though this one is played vertically. Unlike dizi, this flute doesn’t an additional hole to be covered by reed or tape. And on top of that, the mouth piece if more different. Whereas dizi has a hole, the xiao has a slit in which the player has to blow through. Compared to dizi, this is the most difficult instrument (though I for some reason struggle to play dizi, but I’m perfectly fine playing this instrument...)
Most of these descriptions are things I knew growing up, knew how to play/wield, taught to me, or things I searched up so long ago (we’re talking like middle school me). The sources that I did manage to use will be linked down below:
Tang Heng Dao (lkchensword.com)
Royal Arsenal (lkchensword.com)
LK Chen Sword - Chinese Saber, Chinese Sword, Martial Arts
Butterfly Sword: The Symbolism and Significance in Chinese Martial Art – Mini Katana
Ummm. For some reason the links don’t work and my brain is too fried to figure it out rn, so copy and paste and (hopefully) it’ll pop up. No mla format unfortunately. It’ll be waaaay too long of a post. And yes, I tried to make it as close to the game and MDZS as possible but I soon realized that it wouldn’t really work as I kinda do want to deviate from the plot as much as possible (I don’t want it to be an exact copy of MDZS/The Untamed).

If it Means to Remain by Your Side
From the list I posted yesterday, I'm gonna start with the Dan Heng x Reader MDZS inpsired fic first.
Characters and plot won’t be as accurate to the inspired plot. Especially for this story which involves a lot of adults and teens an not much children.  So many characters are left out simply due to the fact that a lot of npcs either didn’t fit the role, or were far too young for my standards.
I also ended up having to lean more onto the live action version than the novel/manhua version. Not all characters casted are exactly accurate too, as there are more traumatized than non-traumatized.
Cast
Dan Heng  - Lan zhan/Lan Wangji
Reader - Wei Ying/Wei Wuxian
Jing Yuan - Lan Xichen
Blade/Yingxing - Song Lan
March - Lan Jingyi
Yukong - Jian Yanli
Tingyun - Jin Guangyao
Jingliu - Xue Yang
Baiheng - Xiao Xingchen
Yanqing - Jin Ling
Ruan Mei _ Baoshan Sanren
Luocha - Jin Zixuan (Ik Yukong and him aren’t a ship, but it'll have to do as Honkai doesn’t really have a F and M implied relations. I mean the only ones that do are in a love triangle.)
Xueyi - Wen Ning
Hanya - Wen Qing
Qingque - Nie Huaisang
Diting - Fairy
Fu Xuan - Jiang Cheng
Guinaifen - Lan Sizhui/Lan Yuan (Again, not a ship as Yanqing is too fight frenzy of a kid to actually have a crush. I just think these two would pair well as friends)
Sushang - A-Qing
Setting/Sects
Luofu -- Gusu Lan
Dan Heng
Jing Yuan
March
Guinaifen (later half)
Yaoqing -- Qinghe Nie
Qingque
Zhuming -- Qishan Wen
Hanya
Xueyi
Guinaifen (first half
Yuque -- Lanling Jin
Yanqing & Fairy
Luocha
Tingyun
Fanghu -- Yunmeng Jiang
Reader
Fuxuan
Yukong
Misc.
Blade/Yingxing
Jingliu
Baiheng
Sushang
Huohuo
Ruan Mei
Xuling -- Burial Mounds
Reader (Mid-way)
Hanya (Mid-way)
Xueyi (Mid-way)
Guinafen (Mid-way)
I literally looked up all the different alliance of Xianzhou just to see which would be Wen sect. So here’s the reasoning.
Luofu: They don’t really have a specialty. Their main goal is to take out abundance cult.
Yaoqing: Much like Luofu, don’t really have a specialty. Aggressive and good at martial arts.
Zhuming: Their main export specialty is porcelain. According to Fandom wiki, the people here love playing with fire.
Yuque: They export jade abaci, thus making me think they’ll be wealthy due to it and technologically advanced/smart.
Fanghu: Exports a lot of marine things. Though it would make since to have Dan Heng come from here, but it would not make sense for other characters like March and Jing Yuan to have been born here. And it’s the closest in description to Yunmeng.
Xuling: Not much is really stated about this place on Fandom Wiki, but it looks like a place of law. But piggybacking off of the fact that not much is written about this area, Imma just gonna liken this area to Burial Mounds.
Idk why I stressed so much trying to make it 100% accurate 💀
My main source for these infos are from MDZS and Star Rail fandom wiki, so if inaccuracies occur, I apologize in advance for it.

I'm back!!!
I'm back!! I was literally in no spirits to write fanfics, but thinking about picking it back up again.
Really have been in a Honkai Star Rail brain rot lately (mostly about xianzhou men ^^), and many ideas just popped into my brain. So please read through all of it and tell me which one you think I should start first. And please repost or share it with others! Comments are important!! I know it's long, but just bear with me. It's vital for me (>.<)
Long Fics:
Jing Yuan x Reader
Trope: Childhood friends to lovers
Relationships: Jing Yuan x Reader, TBD
About: Based off of a Ming dynasty emperor who only loved one woman (his childhood friend) for his whole life.
Reader Gender: Female
Tags: Fluff, Angst, Hurt/comfort, Ancient China au, childhood friends to lovers, Honkai Star Rail x Reader, hsr x reader, female! Reader, jing yuan x reader, hsr jing yuan, honkai star rail jing yuan, jing yuan x you

Dan Heng x Reader
Trope: Reincarnation
Relationship: Dan Heng x Reader, TBD
About: Loosely based off of the c-drama 三生三世 (it’s really just an ost that inspired me). Dan Heng loves reader for the longest time, but instead of him reincarnating, it’s reader. Basically, reader is mortal while Dan Heng is immortal and heavenly law states that immortals aren’t allowed to fall in love with mortals. Essentially Dan Heng breaks that rule many times and gets punished many times (i.e. heavenly prison, loss of status, etc). And what if reader becomes immortal one day?
Reader Gender: Neutral

Jing Yuan x Reader
Trope: Maiden and knight
Relationships: Jing Yuan x Reader, TBD
About: Another one based loosely off of c-drama (again, it’s the ost doing it for me). This time loosely based off of Love Like the Galaxy. Some characters may be more calculating  than in the show. Only really thought of this cuz of Jing Yuan being a general.
Reader Gender: Neutral

Blade x Reader
Trope: Good x Evil
Relationships: Blade x Reader, TBD
About: Another another loosely inspired by the c-drama, Love Between Fairy and Devil. Though no, reader isn’t really gonna be an innocent dunce from the start. May display dumb, but not make it her personality. People around reader keep trying to tell them to stay away from the evil ones, but reader doesn’t really listen (cuz folks really don’t be telling them what the evil people look like) and ends up meeting the leader of said evil forces, Blade. Plot starts towards the beginning of the war between the good and evil.

Dan Heng x Reader
Trope: Can MDZS be a trope itself?
Relationships: Dan Heng x Reader, TBD
About: Inspired by MDZS/The Untamed. Although it won’t be danmei and will deviate with the fact it’s more chronological than having long periods of flashbacks (yes I’m looking at you Untamed, why tf did you spend so many episodes on flashbacks and then everything after just went by so quickly??? But that’s just my opinion -- anyways). Obviously not everything is going to be 100% accurate since this is a fanfic inspired by MDZS/The Untamed and Star Rail isn’t that.
Reader Gender: Neutral

Blade x Reader
Trope: Princ(ess) and knight
Relationships: Blade x Reader, Dan Heng & Reader (platonic)
About: Blade is assigned to be the personal guard of lord/lady by none other than their brother, Dan Heng. The lord/lady only thought of Blade as a sword and shield, they never thought they’d ever fall for the man with many mysteries. Yet they know, that those who hold many mysteries are the ones most likely to betray and use. That was just the way of court life. However, a small part of them just hopes -- wishes that Blade would never betray or use them for ulterior motives.
Reader Gender: Neutral

Luocha x Reader
Trope: Immortal and mortal
Relationships: Luocha x Reader, Fu Xuan (just filling in the role of the monk)
About: Based off of the Legend of the White Snake. Deviation will occur. Reader doesn’t have a sister, and Luocha is an actual doctor not scholar.  Reader will not be imprisoned in a pagoda (like is some shows/rendition of the story).
Reader Gender: Neutral

Jing Yuan x Reader
About: Very loosely based off of Fuhao, the Shang dynasty warrior queen. Reader is is a priestess and  a warrior, going off to fight battles and returning victorious until one day, she didn’t return. Stricken with grief, Jing Yuan prepares a burial and tomb for his beloved queen.
Reader Gender: Female

About: Dan Heng (Imbibitor Lunae) takes a stroll for a break. Then stumbles upon a  unique looking figure: softly resting atop their hair were two long feathers of grey color. He had never seen someone like them before, so curiosity getting the best of him, he approaches them. Only for them to turn and look at him. That’s when he froze, both in embarrassment and in fear. Da peng, the only child of the phoenix to feast upon dragons. Da peng, the one who stands before him with a curious gaze.

It's 5 am and I'm just still listening to Abel Korzeniowski's pieces. Both his and the slowed versions.
It's so good though...
Like I'm a main character of a tragic story.
With red roses and sharp thorns blooming out of my chest.
I wished more and people know about his pieces (and use it for like those playlists with too specific of a title on youtube) cuz it's honestly really beautiful.
