good evening i'm not sure if y'all are still active but if you are could i please request platonic botw hcs (i don't recall you specifying whether you do platonic or not- i'm sorry if you don't, that's my bad) for a reader who's the youngest champion and has an intense competition against revali? all the champions know about it and they try and stop him from being too hard on the reader but he never listens

After training your arse off to be as skilled as you can, you were chosen by the one and only Princess Zelda to become a Champion! And the youngest one at that, congrats!

You owe it to everyone and everything: your mentors, family, friends, and a whole lot of grueling training and luck to top it off.

Everyone's celebrating and the other chosen Champions are congratulating you on your feat! They're all amazingly proud of your accomplishments and warmly welcome you to the elite team chosen to fend off Calamity Ganon

One problem: there's another young Champion vying for that sweet spot of ultimate recognition, and he's not backing down that easy

Revali, being the overtly competitive and sardonic individual that he is, isn't going to appreciate you stealing another spotlight from him

I mean, first Link shows up seemingly out of nowhere and was assigned to take Ganon down...now this other younger teen Champion is the fresh talk of the town and barely anyone bothers to acknowledge Revali's impressive feats

You can't be that good, right? At least, that's what Revali believes when he first catches wind of your acceptance

Someone with not nearly as much life experience as everyone else couldn't possibly be a Champion, he thinks, even with excruciating training and dedication, reaching the level of a Champion takes a specific skill (let's not forget their abilities here)

Though (sadly for him), you do in fact have a seemingly supernatural ability. Like him, you've worked hard to be able to harness this skill

It irks the ever-loving hell out of him and you quickly catch onto his disdain of your presence

You can't be in the same room together let alone fight alongside each other without intense amounts of competitive, resentful energy radiating from him and yourself

It started out petty things: you'll stick your tongue out at him, he'll purposely stand right in front of you while walking, you'll speak before he gets a chance, he'll compare his skills to yours…it's never ending

Of course, this can't be kept secret for long; your colleagues are for sure going to notice. And since Revali is the oldest out of you two, the other Champions try giving him a pep talk to "lay off on the kid" since your rivalry could turn for the worse and ruin a potential mission

But in his mind, a Champion is a Champion, right? And being the bigger person in a moral stance isn't exactly his strong suit

"If this child is to be worthy enough to stand among Hyrule's leading force in a conflict of this magnitude, a challenge of authority should hardly be an issue."

No one could persuade him to quit it and that simply fuelled your dislike, no, hatred of him more. Mipha tried reason, Daruk attempted group bonding exercises and Urbosa thought brute verbal force would work… But it’s Revali we’re talking about. He changes on his own accord

In short, nothing's getting resolved anytime soon :/ It eventually escalated to both of you purposefully throwing yourselves in perilous situations just to prove one was better over the other. It was quickly becoming a conundrum when you basically challenged each other to a fight to the death

“Fight to the death” may be pushing it, but putting yourselves at risk of injury for just some rivalry? It became concerning rather than amusing for your friends-in-arms to stand another day of bickering and death stares seeing how it could turn to outright antagonism

Even Daruk is starting to get worried, and he's the more light-hearted one of the group!

To remedy this, Zelda purposely pairs the two of you together for a small mission in hopes you put aside your differences to complete a goal. The other Champions disagreed at first (fearing Revali and you would tear each other apart limb from limb), but trusted her instincts

You both vehemently protested this mission, but went along anyway. The journey there was quiet for the most part with the two of you silently stewing over the decision to go. However, you picked up on the fact that she's trying to make you get along and both thought isn't that ridiculous??

As you're walking towards the location of your mission, you converse about the others attempting to stop your rivalry in a somewhat casual manner

"Pfft, it's funny how hard they're trying. Like, are they really that desperate?"

"They must be. To think that we alone seem to be enough trouble for even the Princess to intervene… Perhaps you’re right, it’s nearly comical." This is absolutely an understatement on his end by the way; nearly killing each other should constitute more than ‘enough trouble’.

“Right? I didn’t think we’d strike that much of a nerve!”

After a bit of back and forth banter, you both return to the others…still bickering. Although, it’s not the usual mean-spirited quarrel everyone’s used to! The bad blood began thinning out bit by bit, with the healthy rival challenge every now and then

Now each passing day you’re on missions and such, it morphs into a type of older brother situation on Revali’s end: still an asshole to you, but a genuine guy to fight alongside

There’s still the odd, legitimate squabble here and there, but mainly just about counting monster kills (Legolas and Gimli style)

Hi! I'm not sure if your still taking requests, but if so, can you do something like: your Links younger sister (like 12-13 years old) and meeting the champions/how the champions would react to her and how they would like you. idk this was just a random idea I had, it's okay if you can't write it! <3

School year’s over, so finally some time to get back to requests! Thank you @milbert-maggot for the request 😎 I adore this concept, so hope you enjoy these!

Urbosa:

Let’s start with the most motherly one of the group!

She was pleasantly surprised that Link had a younger sister in the first place since he never really brought you up in conversation at all

Then again, he’s not too much of a talker in the first place

She’s got a good sense of humor about it too; she’d poke fun at Link for a second for never mentioning what a sweet little sister he has

She’d adore you so much it’s not even funny

Urbosa would take you under her wing immediately and vow to protect you should Link not be there for some reason, especially since you’re a young girl and particularly vulnerable considering the current state of Hyrule with monsters running amuck

Very gentle and easygoing around you, and incredibly patient to boot

So much so that she’d playfully excuse any minor mistakes you make, but turn it into a learning experience at the same time

After all, you’re just a kid, but you still need to learn the ins and outs of everything to grow into a well rounded person

She’s willing to listen to your input on situations and believes it’s important to do so as it builds a stronger bond between the two of you and helps build trust in her

She likes to listen to any interests that you’re inclined to tell her to keep you entertained and distracted from the massive issue at hand (AHEM Calamity Ganon)

Urbosa’s also encouraging!

She understands that it’s difficult having a loved one constantly leaving to serve a duty to protect Hyrule (as the Hero of Hyrule no less), so she’s very much sympathetic in that regard

She’ll often ask about Link as well, saying things such as “He is a good brother, is he not?” and sometimes asking about how he is at home to gauge what he’s truly like as a person

Urbosa knows it’s hard to “follow in the footsteps” of a Goddess-blessed highly skilled knight, so she whittles down any extreme expectations you might have about yourself or that others bestow upon you and reaffirms that it is best to be your own person and strive for the greatness only you can achieve

Hey, it might seem heavy for a kid, but she’s aware of the impacts expectations have on young people

I mean, have you seen Zelda? And Link for that matter. Hell, even Revali

She’s supportive too, like if you told her that you wanted to be a knight just like your big brother? Absolutely! Fight for what you believe in! You want to make a living as a tailor one day? Fantastic, she’s all about it. Baker? Stablehand? Jeweler? Blacksmith? She’s sure you’d be amazing at any of these

As long as you put in the work of course!

She’d definitely take you on sand seal rides! Urbosa would let you stand on the same shield she’s on so you don’t fall off

Oh, and as a bonus: she’d absolutely take you for sunset rides on Vah Naboris with Link’s permission

Daruk:

Daruk would honestly be really excited to find out that Link has a little sister

The more, the merrier after all!

He'll be like that one cool uncle that gives you piggyback rides and roughhouses with you and is just an all around chill dude

Link would probably have to stop Daruk and intervene before he does anything reckless though, because I just KNOW he’d try to give you some prime rock roast with Goron spice as a treat or try to teach you the values of Goron wrestling to get big and strong

He means well, he just forgets how fragile Hylians can be from time to time

Otherwise, he’s a really gentle dude around you (if not nervous about accidentally hurting you) and of course he’d protect you at any cost

Because if he wasn’t gentle, goddess forbid he’d give you one of those back slaps that’d totally send you out into orbit 💀

Honestly, Daruk would just give you a Goron-kid-sized Cobble Crusher as a surefire way to defend yourself if you weren’t in the presence of Link or the other Champions

A for effort, Daruk, but perhaps giving a 12 year old Hylian something meant for a Goron kid might not be the most productive

He’d probably give you a nickname like he does with Link and Zelda, something like Tiny Hylian or flat out call you Kid

He’d be talking about your relationship with Link too like “It must be awesome to have Link as yer big brother, he must give the best piggybacks. Y’know, I’m sure you’re a big help to the little guy at home!”

He would absolutely constantly be coming up with new jokes to tell you to make sure you’re happy and definitely not bored

It’s illegal to be bored around Daruk! He’s the life of the party

Daruk would have so many stories to tell you! Everything from battles to tasty rock feasts to life near Death Mountain, he can guarantee that he’ll keep you entertained for hours

Always accompanies you on walks. It’s always nice to have a huge Goron bodyguard as your buddy!

Revali:

So the Hylian Champion whom he already dislikes has a KID sister?! Oh boy.

This is just not a good mix really. You're screwed either way. Good luck girl

You were doomed to be his least favourite (aside from Link) from the start. I mean, he's all about being stoic and stern, so adding a kid to the bunch does not sit well with him

It’s not a secret that he wouldn’t be the biggest fan of you from the start, it's written all over his face: rolling eyes, sighing every other time you talk… yeah, it's obvious to tell

If Link brought you along to a Champion’s meeting, Revali wouldn’t be thrilled to say the least. In fact, he'd oppose it greatly

“A child should not be concerned with our business. Really, did you think this through?”

Suffice to say he’d try to ignore you ಠ ೧ ಠ so get used to being brushed aside and ignored if you tried to initiate any sort of bond

He has a moral obligation to keep you safe (can't taint his reputation by letting a kid get hurt while he's around), but frankly doesn't want to spend time following you around and making sure you don't accidentally kill yourself

In his mind, that's solely Link's responsibility, seeing as he brought you to this probably confidential and no nonsense Champions meeting in the first place…but he'll (reluctantly) look after you if no one else can step up to the plate

He wouldn't be very talkative around you should you happen to be alone together

The most you'd initially get out of him is something along the lines of "Don't stray too far," Or "I won't follow you if you slink away, so you better be careful, or else."

He'd also say things like "I would advise you not to try my patience", but in reality, it's mostly a bluff

I say 'mostly' in the way that he can't legitimately do anything bad to you, but he WILL smack talk you into compliance

If he ever brought up his disdain for Link around you and you proceed to tell him off, he'd just start bickering back

He'd respond sardonically if you were ever snarky to him. It's childish to retort like that, so he wouldn't do this in front of anyone else. But in his mind, he's just claiming the high ground over some snooty child.

And if you touched his feathers out of curiosity, he'd recoil and tell you off

Honestly, you'd be able to break through and charm him with your little kid spunk given enough time

He'll deny it if prompted, but he'll slowly get accustomed to your presence

After a while, he'll still act dismissive of you, but he cares more than he lets on

Eventually, he'd just start acting like a cynical big brother to you and he'll maaaaybe let you touch his feathers without chewing you out

Who knows? If you manage to really get through to him, then he may comply with giving you a little flying tour of the Tabantha region 👀

Mipha:

Did someone say sisterly love??? Well I did, and that's what you're getting from Mipha

Because of Link's past with Mipha, there's a very high chance that the two of you got acquainted when you were pretty young and continued to build up a relationship from there

Mipha is a welcoming girl with a kind and polite persona, and you'd be no exception to her sweetness

With your history together, she would definitely act as a surrogate big sister type to you

And since she's got so much experience having a younger sibling, she'd practically be an expert on how to keep you entertained and focused

She'd be very encouraging towards you because you feel safe sharing things with her that would feel too personal for the other Champions to hear

If you were at a Champions meeting, there's no doubt that you'd mostly cling to Mipha since she's the only other familiar face around (other than Link of course)

She would also be a tad overprotective of your whereabouts. She wouldn't be suffocating God no, but she would be worried about how you're faring

Mipha would make sure you'd be in arms length of the group since she's aware that the current state of Hyrule is no place for a child to get lost in

She's just anxious about keeping you safe and secure. You're a pretty important person

Commenting about how much you're growing would probably be an almost monthly occurrence. She's been her short stature for a while, so seeing you sprout like a weed is exciting

If you hung onto her hand, she'd swing her arm back and forth while you walk like you do when you walk with Link. She's subconsciously adapted some of the mannerisms that Link has towards you

She also likes to talk with Link about arranging potential play dates between you and Sidon for a bit of cute little kid bonding time

Overall, she just really likes having you around like you're the little sister she never had

hi, anon! of course you can, thank you so much for requesting! the second i saw this i leapt at getting to it, i love these boys so much! i hope you enjoy! i’m happy to do more if anyone requests more from them or any of the other characters!

𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰/ 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤, 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢

𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐊

Link is not someone who speaks very often but will if he has to get something across that couldn’t be done through body language or gestures alone. The most anyone has heard from him is when he’s with you, where you’ll get some rare full sentences in response before he grows quiet and gives you simple answers or hums and nods. Pre-Calamity, he’s much less verbal and forces you to be somewhat reliant to understand his facial expressions and their meaning. He has so many expectations from the people of Hyrule weighing on his shoulders, thus causing him to repress a lot of the emotions he once outwardly expressed when he was younger. It’s truly the little things with him, where he’ll continue his stance as a knight but glance at you as the corner of his lips quirk upwards to reassure you or silently greet you. Or your favorite flowers will appear on your bed, he’s trustworthy enough to be able to step into your room without having to worry about him going through your belongings. Or he’ll make a suspicious amount of food that you know he’d be able to eat on his own and still be hungry, but leave plenty for you and more to make sure you eat. Whenever he’s not by Zelda’s side, unable to break the habit of his new job, stands by your side with his sword to make sure you’re not ambushed by anyone or anything. All without a word, or very little. Often watches you in silent interest from the corner of his eye as you partake in whatever your focus lingers on, but the tip of his head gives it all away and he’ll eventually turn to you fully.

Post-Calamity, meanwhile, one hundred years later, he’s a bit more vocal. Just slightly. With very little memory to him, there’s a new sense of self to him that isn’t burdened by the same weight he felt before. It’s still tiresome to carry sometimes as he’s the only one to be able to save the princess and Hyrule, but he eventually comes to be able to deal with it in a healthy manner for the most part thanks to you. He’s not a chatterbox by any means and many still consider him quiet, but if you ask him a question in which you need his opinion or need guidance that can’t be expressed through movement, he’ll speak for you. He sometimes doesn’t recognize the sound of it and surprises himself whenever he doesn’t let out grunts like he does in battle. Very soft-spoken, never raising his voice at you or anyone unless he’s particularly panicked or fearful about something which isn’t very common. He knows a bit of HSL (Hyrulean Sign Language) and may communicate through that, but it’s not his main form of speaking as his hands are often full with ingredients, a weapon, shield, the reigns to his horse, or holding your hand. He loves listening to yours, though, and always has! Any stress or frustration starts to wash away whenever you speak to him and he’s always so focused on everything you tell him, even if it’s offhanded or you think it’s silly. Like he did in the past without even realizing it, he’ll leave gifts and food for you on the table or bedside and may even buy you jewelry or armor if they caught your eye.

A lot of his physical affection comes from muscle memory rather than him thinking it through at first. He’ll pull you close to him by your arm or around your hips or lower back if you get too close to him or to move you out of the way of an attack. No matter what has happened, he’s still a knight deep down and a lot of the sudden urges and movements are from his past training. Such as keeping your whereabouts at the forefront of his mind, and then checking your surroundings for any monsters or Yiga Clan members immediately after. His well-being comes secondary to yours, is what his mind tells him. But sometimes, without even realizing it until it’s pointed out to him, he’ll be latched onto you and your top with a grip that’s almost impossible to loosen without waking him up. Then the touches become much more affectionate and gentle to show how much he cares, rather than rough and sudden that’s only done as a means of protection. He’s constantly learning romantic gestures not even his past self knew of and about you, so it’s like he’s taking baby steps or like he was up on the Great Plateau all over again. If you do something particularly risky like go up against a dangerous foe by yourself or are unlucky enough to earn a bad injury that limits your mobility or is particularly painful, he gets so worried but relieved you’re still alive. He’ll hug you tight, one hand on your back and the other at the back of your head. He calms down fairly quick knowing you’re really there and not a figment of his mind, but doesn’t let go until you ask to be.

Whenever he travels, Link is always sure to prepare beforehand. Food, armor, elixirs, ingredients, weapons, he’ll bring it just in case he encounters unexpectedly bad weather or monsters regardless of their difficulty. He can never be too sure and it took him some time before he realized it upon leaving the Shrine of Resurrection. But if you ever join him, he will always be sure to pack enough for you as well and more because he can never be too sure. The wild will eat you up and spit you out if you’re underprepared and he doesn’t want to see that happen to you, or anyone for that matter! His pockets seem like an endless abyss of belongings so don’t worry about him not being able to carry it all because he will one way or another. As worried as he may be, he’s always happy to bring you with him. He hates being away from you for so long and only does so if he has to, but is always happy to bring you along if you’re willing to trek through the vast lands of Hyrule and its oddball weather. Don’t worry about getting cold, he’ll happily let you wear his cloak and scarf something down to get over the heat. Or if you’re in Eldin, then he’ll buy you a set of Flamebreaker Armor. When you both have to rest for the night, he’ll give you space if you need it but will snuggle up against you if you both get cold enough that not even your clothes and fire are enough help. You’re like his partner in crime and many around Hyrule will comment if you’re not with him or he doesn’t have something of yours on his person.

His preferred mode of transportation, aside from teleporting to shrines and towers using the Sheikah Slate, is horseback riding. It beats walking from one end of the land to the other on foot. Paragliding can only take him so far, too. He has Epona and double-back riding isn’t always the safest, especially when he’s being tailed by Bokoblins with bows and arrows he had no choice but to pass. But if you see a horse you want to tame and register at a stable but you can’t approach it without it running off, his new mission is to catch it for you. He understands perfectly well how difficult is can be to catch up to one and doesn’t want to see you become dejected after several failed attempts, so he’ll spend however long it takes until he can. Will offer name ideas and let you use one of the saddles and bridles he’s earned if you wanted because he’s happy to have some off of his hands and actually be put into use. If you want the Giant Horse, he’s a bit intimidated by its size but if you want it, he’ll chase it to the ends of Hyrule and cling onto it as tight as he possibly can if it means taming it for you. Whenever he’s not fighting or doing anything in particular, Link will offer to go on a trail ride or let your horses lead the way as you both sightsee and have a moment of relaxation. Epona probably likes you slightly more than him and he’s a little upset his own steed favors you over him—he gave her all of those Endura Carrots for what? Nothing?—but can’t stay mad for too long, or long at all because he can’t blame the mare.

The small, one-person bed in his house within Hateno Village? He got that replaced and swapped out with a bigger one so the two of you can share it and have enough space without crowding the already small upstairs area or having you be beneath the stairs. He tries to grow Silent Princesses in the front yard as a surprise, but to no avail and to his disappointment. Instead, in an attempt to make up for it, he always picks some that he sees and brings them home to you but not all of them so they don’t go extinct. He never really did anything with the decorations that Bolson put up aside from the mounts on the wall that he frequently uses, so if there’s anything you want to bring in that’s fine with him. Also adds your name to the sign in front of the house in paint that’s your favorite color and doesn’t tell you and leaves that for you to find and see. This is your home too, not just his and he wants you to remember that. Although Hateno may be small, he loves walking around with you knowing fully well there isn’t going to be any danger rearing its head in aside from some playful chaos the village children create and the monsters aren’t yet willing to appear at the front gate. If there’s anyone that’s bothering you, whether they’re in the village or not, he’ll stand up for you if you can’t do so yourself. As much as he wants there to be peace, he’s not going to sit by and let someone talk down on you or be physical.

Pictures! He never found much of a use to use the camera feature that Purah fixed other than to fill his Compendium and to find the places the princess photographed. Before meeting you, it was just something he used as necessary rather than for any kind of memoir and it collected dust as the other Runes outshone it. Now, he has so many pictures of you two at different landmarks that he silently treasures and looks back on constantly if he has nothing better to do with himself. He enjoys showing you what he’s captured photos of, such as the Lord of the Mountain and the Blupees. Not many people see it coming, but he loves posing in front of the camera and has a surprisingly good eye when it comes to finding a good angle. Sometimes for weapons, shields, and bows he thinks are particularly cool, he’ll ask you to pose with him and the item, or to mimic a certain action like drawing the bowstring with an elemental arrow. Won’t let you stop until he manages to fit both you and the weapon in the small preview square. Of course, if you need to rest or eat or whatever the case may be, he will let you go but will wander around to find a good spot to prop the Sheikah Slate so he can pose instead. But Link’s absolute favorites are of when you don’t realize he’s taking a picture, where you go about your day and performing regular tasks and actions that causes you to smile and look so at peace that it causes him to forget any weight upon his shoulders and get lost in your joyous, serene expression.

Shows up to every single rehearsal and performance of yours, and will even hold up some other plans to go and watch you because he knows you’re sometimes more relaxed with him there for reassurance

However, if you ever don’t want him to watch when you’re feeling anxious, he’ll completely understand and give you space to be in your element

He’s constantly astonished on how you go from a reserved, quiet person to a confident, brilliant performer effortlessly reciting your lines or bounding across the stage

But he’s not completely taken aback of course!

He expects this much talent and vigor from his darling

Believes you're the sweetest most talented person in the world :D

Loudest cheer from the crowd every time

If he does take notice that you’re feeling overwhelmed with all the attention, he’ll leave you be on your own for a moment to have some quiet time

He’ll help you practice your routines with you to make sure you’re well prepared by being a stand-in for other actors or dancers

Evidently, he’s not the most nimble partner to practice with (difficult to dance when you’re basically a giant), but you appreciate it nonetheless

He especially loves when you dance; to him you’re a graceful angel

But when you’re fighting, man

He’s absolutely infatuated about your fighting style

The way you maintain your elegant persona from your performing while in the midst of battle is extremely fascinating to him

You still look like an angel to him, but a badass angel that can swing a sword just as well as any baton

He'll shout stuff like "Perfect form!" while you're fighting to motivate you more

He truly does think you’re extraordinary 😫💞

It honestly depends on if this is Pre Calamity or Post Calamity Link, but either way he doesn’t have as much time as he would like to attend your performances

If it’s Pre Calamity, of course he has to be the Zelda’s bodyguard, so he’s gonna be a no-show most of the time

If it’s Post Calamity, he won’t be as busy, however he still has duties to fulfil

He’s a busy guy running errands for others and fighting monsters ykyk

He does tries to go as often as he can to support you tho

If he does show up, you can bet on him being the first one to come and pick the closest seat to the stage to watch you up close

He’s aware that you’re much more composed when he’s around before any performances

Since Link doesn’t typically attend these kinds of productions, he isn’t used to seeing how you dance and sing

That makes every show he does go to 10 times more special!

He’s not usually the one to sing praises, so he gives little gestures like a thumbs up to reassure you you’re doing a great job

Because he’s accustomed to you being equally as quiet as he is, Link’s especially astounded when you become someone completely different person when you’re acting

You would never speak as loud or as boldly as you do on stage in public, so he’s proud that you found something you’re so passionate about and that you cherish deeply enough to put your all in

He loves when you play the roles of feisty or brazen characters in a play the most because of this reason

He likes to watch your ribbon dancing performances

Those are without a doubt his preferred shows of yours, he loves the way you twirl and the way the ribbon coordinates with your dancing

After every show he attends, he’ll whisk you away from the stage and oncoming crowds and bring you to somewhere tranquil so you wouldn’t have to confront hordes of people

If you wanna talk about the performance, then he’ll gladly (briefly) say how you nailed your role

If not, he’ll sit in silence and quietly appreciate you

Since your dancing style is similar to his sword fighting (big sweeping movements, quick steps, etc.), he was pleasantly surprised to find out that you’re decent with a weapon

For him, this makes it so much easier to coordinate during training and actual battles

But sometimes, he gets enamored looking at your sophisticated combat skills that he pauses fighting whatever he’s battling for a split second to see your technique 😭

He gets inspired by your performances too

There are certain points where he’ll ask you how to do fancy but effective sword maneuvers similar to how you dance so that he can apply them to his training regimen

Revali:

He’s a busy bird (his words not mine AHA)

So don’t expect him to show up as often as you’d may like him to

HOWEVER, this doesn’t mean he doesn’t care, even though he’ll sure act like he couldn’t give a damn at first

When he does come to your performance, he'll be in the very back leaning against a post because he doesn't want to distract everyone with his presence (obviously)

If you make eye contact, he'll do a small nod to assure you he's there for you

Since he knows how timid and anxious you are all the time, he was practically blown away when he saw your first dance performance

He’ll never say it out loud near other people tho, he can’t ruin his reputation by turning into some corny fanboy allegedly

He was almost (key word, almost) slack-jawed, but kept his stoic composure

You just looked so graceful and calm??? You, the apprehensive and gentle person performing gorgeous dances effortlessly in front of people??? He could barely fathom it

He was honestly a bit impressed, which is a huge accomplishment on your part so pat yourself on the back for that

Your singing voice is among his favourites

It’s not AS good as a Rito he supposes, but it’s charming and delightful

Literally anything having to do with music he’ll like, especially singing

It honestly surprised him when you started singing on stage for the first time

If you play any instruments too he really loves that

He appreciates string or woodwind instruments the most, like the violin, guitar, harp or flute

Once you’re finished a performance, he’ll tell off anyone who’s making you uncomfortable and antsy with his usual Revali sarcastic ass tone and bring you to a more serene location to unwind

Don’t expect a barrage of compliments initially either, the most you’ll get out of him is lackluster praise

“I suppose it was acceptable…”

Just know he means to be a tad more sincere than that

Once you continue down the relationship and he becomes more vulnerable, he’ll tell you how amazing your show was, but never directly (only in front of you tho)

“Another success today hm? One might even say it was quite sensational.”

Your dances are quite handy in combat as well

His complex aerial abilities coupled with your fluid dance-like finesse is an impeccable match for fighting against adversaries

It’s actually almost baffling how perfect it works out, it appears nearly flawless every time the two of you engage in combat together

That’s why he sort of likes having you around during battles; he admires your drive and cooperation

Overall salty birb has a little soft spot for his talented darling

I loved ur one with link!!! and the weight thing as been a huge issue for me lol, every time i get switched to a med that isnt supposed to cause weightloss i either get horrible side effects or they just do not work. I am pretty underweight now so its... nerve wracking lol. I have other health issues that limit my diet a lot so its been hard trying to get healthy again

Please ramble to him!!! Please!!! He loves learning new things and seeing you happy, so it’s a win win situation. He’s so attentive, he literally remembers everything you say and every time you say things like “Oh… I’m annoying you, sorry hahaha,” “feel free to tell me to shut up whenever,” or “wait,,, you’re actually interested?!?!” his heart breaks and he wants to smother you in kisses

It’s okay if you’re loud because honestly,,,, he’s just as loud, if not louder

You can always vent your frustrations to him, he’s there to listen

Sidon is a very organized person, so he’s more than willing to help you organize and remember things! He sees it as a fun bonding project :)

Sidon absolutely spoils you. Want some cool new fidget to stim with? Boom, it’s yours. Want to organize yourself, but can only really find the motivation if said organizational things are hella aesthetic? No problem, Sidon has it custom made for you. Have a new interest but need some supplies? Don’t worry, Sidon already has sent a list to the local merchant

His heart melts by the way these gifts make your face light up

When you get overwhelmed by lots of tasks or emotions, never fear! Sidon can take you to dozens of places in the Zora Domain to calm down at. There are scenic cliffs, quiet caves, and bubbling streams just for you

He knows you’re sensitive to criticism, so he does his 200% best to be sweet no matter what (which isn’t hard for Sidon when it comes to you). He’s always there to comfort you when you get upset and doesn’t let you say anything like “I’m being a baby” or “I’m being too sensitive”. Your emotions are your emotions, and nothing is too trivial for Sidon to scoop you into his large arms and stroke your back

Of course, he knows unexpected touching can be very distracting at times, and will keep hands off/ask to touch in certain situations

Zora’s Domain has some of the best healers in the land, so getting any medicine you need is super easy and stress free

But if the medicine causes you to drop weight or other negative side effects, Sidon would notice instantly, especially because he picks you up so often he’d notice a weight drop

He’d rush off to the healers to change your medicine, fussing, stroking your hair, and apologizing over and over again

When you’re feeling restless and need to burn off some steam, Sidon can take you for a swim on his back! He’s very active himself, so he’s happy that you are too

And if people are ever rude to you, Sidon will personally deal with them instantly.

How would Sidon, Mipha, Revali, Yunobo and Riju (if that's not too many, you can cut some if you'd like) react to their so being from our world and somehow ending up in Hyrule? And maybe their so brings a CD/Record Player and shows them their favorite music, or a portable tv so they can watch movies together, and just generally shows them all sorts of modern stuff from our world? Thanks so much, I hope this request isn't too weird or long!!

Hey! Sorry it took a while to answer this, but this was absolutely so fun to write so thank you so much for the request! This may be a bit long but whatever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I loved the request so I went a tiny overboard! Hope the wait was worth it!

she's so sweet honestly like AAA

Mipha:

You first met on the side of a river, where you were unconscious and Mipha healed a wound on your leg, somehow ending up in Hyrule after you passed out at a bus stop

Since you and Mipha met, she has been extremely curious about what you keep in your modern backpack, and you finally get the hint that she wants to see your trinkets when you catch her fiddling with one of your keychains (which she was promptly embarrassed about)

She’s very understanding of your situation, and tries the best she can to help out to her abilities

Any chance she gets, she wonders about your life outside of Hyrule, like your family, friends, and where you lived

She loves hearing about your cultures and ways of life, and about the differences of the two worlds

She’s completely infatuated with every single item you have, delicately holding them like they’re some kind of precious relics and examining them while you explain what they do

She more or less just observes quietly while you talk, only asking questions in between

While you explain, she absentmindedly fidgets with the keychains and zippers on your bag and apologizes constantly when she thinks she accidentally “ruined” your objects by handling them

When you pull out your phone, she mistakes it for a type of Sheikah Slate because of the similar shape, and as soon as you turn it on she flinches a little, not expecting the screen to be so different from the Slate

She still kinda believes your phone is made up of Sheikah technology because that’s the most logical answer she has

Anything camera related she compares to the Slate, and she shys away from the lens to avoid being viewed by the camera when you turn it on

She’s a bit overwhelmed on how fast you can access things in your phone and how it can gather information like the weather or the time

You show her your songs that you downloaded, and she’s taken aback at first by the sudden noise, but still quietly asks questions about how there’s music coming out of your device

Your songs confuse her because of how drastically different the genre is compared to music in Hyrule, but nevertheless she is very glad to get insight on modern human culture

She was frightened at first when you showed her a clip of a movie you downloaded, but her face shifts into pure curiosity and joy when she sees people moving on the screen

“Um, h-how do they fit in there?”

“Who?”

“The people, why are they tiny?”

She’ll point out objects that she thinks someone else would like

“Oh! Sidon would love this! May I show him?”

She's genuinely curious about you but has a hard time directly asking you to observe you or your belongings

Revali:

Damn you somehow got yourself isekei’d after falling asleep on a camping trip (⊙ˍ⊙)

You woke up in the middle of the woods that was definitely NOT your campsite with a somewhat pissed off Rito standing over you, asking what the hell you were doing sleeping on the ground with nothing else around you but the items on your person

He chastises you for doing stupid things, but since you’re not used to the customs in Hyrule, he begrudgingly tries to help you

However, he sneers at anyone who dares to pick on you for being human

A step up from bullying people for being Hylian LMAO

He denies any claims that he truly cares about you tho

Doesn’t really ask about your life before you ended up in Hyrule until later in the relationship, but it sometimes comes up during conversation

“Your aim is absolutely terrible. Start over.”

“Well pardon me, we don’t have monsters back where I’m from. We don’t exactly do this daily.”

“Wait… are you serious?”

He takes it upon himself to train you so you’re not completely helpless

because he's so great of course

The culture shock was pretty significant for him: no monsters, no Ganon, no Rito, not even Hylians

“So, there aren’t any Rito at all? Not even Hylians?”

“Nope, it’s just us humans.”

“Hmph, that’s unfortunate"

As much as he doesn’t want to admit it, he finds some charm in your way of life, and wonders what it would be like to live in your world

He believes that all of your human technology is inferior in terms of practicality compared to Hyrulean tech

I mean, can your phone stop objects in time or spawn bombs? Yeah, he didn’t think so

Besides that, he is genuinely baffled by your technology and on how stuff like a phone can create moving images

You can literally show him all of your favourite songs and movies and he’ll still call them rubbish, and call them wastes of his precious time

When you force him to watch movies, once he gets past the ‘why and how is this working’ stage, he spends basically the entire time questioning the decisions of the movie characters like the cynical movie critic he is

This bitch thinks he’s an expert after the third movie you guys watch

After a while, he shuts up while watching because he noticed that you weren’t too fond of his downgrading of your favourite movies

You show him a CD player you had on hand, and the mechanics of how a disc can spit out music hurts his poor, poor brain

He pretends to understand but he’s so bewildered

“Tch, of course I know how your machine works.”

“Oh, really? What’s it called?”

“...Obviously it’s a music box.”

“Close enough.”

The thing is, he finds it awfully fascinating how you get so enveloped in your favourite music even though it sounds somewhat horrendous to him, and enjoys the look on your face when it’s playing (he denies any accusations of liking the music of course)

He spends a lot of time putting up with your “human nonsense” but eventually finds it endearing

He still won’t admit your movies and music are good though

Of course, he gets incredibly frustrated trying to handle your items, as they aren’t suited to be handled by most Hyruleans, particularly Rito’s

Phones. Especially phones. His feathers aren’t even compatible with the screen, so when poking the screen aggressively doesn't work, he just tosses it back to you angrily

As revenge for ribbing about your movies and whatnot, record him while he’s ranting and replay it over and over again to piss him off >:D

The best part: he can’t delete it on his own

It wouldn’t be Revali without him calling your human objects 'asinine'

There’s ought to be one song he actually likes from your pick of downloaded options and CD’s, and when he does find one he appreciates (most likely an instrumental or classical piece of some sort), he waits until you’re not around to try and play it on your CD player because he doesn’t want to ask for help

He still can’t use your items no matter how hard he tries; he’s too stubborn to ask for help

Over time, he honestly wants to watch your favourite movies/songs with you when he learns to enjoy them

man so many people don't like Yunobo but we love an underrated boy here

Yunobo:

Following the event of you waking up in Hyrule after being transported by a blinding white light, you go exploring for a few hours, trying to avoid monster camps along the way

Eventually, you find Yunobo cowering from you after running into you on a trail, promptly scared of your non-Hylian ears and garments

Hylia have mercy on his poor soul

With much persuasion, you convince him you’re harmless

He’s not much of the prying type, so don’t expect too many questions about your original world

Although, he does like when you talk about your home; it gives him comfort knowing where you’re from

He has a bit of trouble adjusting to your human lifestyle, but give him time and he warms up fairly quickly

Unless it’s about your tech

You tried to call a friend on your cell phone, and he yelled in fear and summoned Daruk’s Protection as soon as he heard your ringtone

“WHAT WAS THAT”

“Yunobo it’s just my phone—”

“WHAT’S A PHONE AND WHY IS IT MAKING THAT NOISSSE”

He’s extremely cautious when you present your human items to him

Flinch once with any of your objects in hand and he’ll immediately crouch into Daruk’s Protection

His hands shake a lot when he holds something of yours

However, he refuses to hold your delicate objects because he’s extremely terrified that he’ll break them all

No matter how much you try to convince him to watch your movies, he’ll shy away and politely refuse while shaking and sweating profusely

He's not trying to make you feel ashamed of your items, he's just a poor, nervous wreck

Once in a while, he’ll peer over your shoulder to attempt to watch your movies with you

To try and be more respectful and grateful for you revealing your human items to him, he compromises and listens to your music (although it still frightens him so much)

He prefers your softer instrumental music as opposed to lyrics because it freaks him out less

Overall, he’s huge scaredy cat but makes attempts to make sure he’s not alienating you for living your human lifestyle

Sidon:

Your last memory was passing out before heading out on a road trip

After somehow ending up in Hyrule and appearing at the trail nearing Zora's Domain, you met a particularly energetic Zora searching for a Hylian by the name of ‘Link’

Following the realization that you are in fact not a Hylian, Sidon caught wind of your unfamiliar items

This man is so curious oh my god

Basically just like his sister in terms of inquisitiveness, except more forward and loud

He can listen to you talk about your home for hours, and was pretty taken aback when he found out there are only humans where you come from, seeing as there is a myriad of races in Hyrule

He’s your personal tour guide for the area, showing you all the best spots and telling you what to avoid

He heavily respects the differences of your worlds, and tries to accommodate you as best as he can

Once you’re comfortable with it, he shows you to his father, excitedly telling him about all the things he’s learned about your world

Very protective of you as well

Ever since he learned that there aren’t any monsters and whatnot where you’re from, he takes to responsibility of being your guard if you’re venturing into Hyrule

He’ll gently ask people not to judge you for being human

Extremely enthusiastic about your belongings and asks so, so many questions

Like just be prepared for a barrage of questions regarding your stuff

“What does this do?”

“Oh, my CD player? It plays music!”

“That little box plays music? INCREDIBLE! How does it work? May I listen?”

He never really had the roadblock of being afraid of your stuff; his eagerness overrode any caution he might’ve had

Similarly to his sister, he also mistakes your phone for a Sheikah Slate at first

He loved your stuff so much that he presented them to his father, giving praise to your kind for coming up with such brilliant objects, even if it’s just as simple as a smart watch

Speaking of smart watches, he loves the fact that you can track how many steps you’ve taken

There’s no particular reason for this, he just thinks it neat and will start running around with the watch on to watch the numbers go up

Parades around the domain giving demonstrations of your items to his people once he understands how they work (with your permission of course because Sidon is a courteous boi)

He’s always careful with your objects though, and never takes them without asking you first

Absolutely LOVES watching movies with you

The colors, the stories, the characters, the music, he loves it all

He probably prefers animated movies more because of how fantastical they are

“Unbelievable! They’re moving pictures! How is this possible!?”

If and when you play music he likes from your phone and you have earbuds in, he’ll politely ask to borrow one of your earbuds so he can listen as well

This is his favourite thing to do with you and your items: sit and listen to music with you or watch movies when he’s free, and will openly request to do so

It sounds strange to him since modern music isn’t y’know a thing in Hyrule, but nevertheless he enjoys it all the same, just as long as you like it

The first time he saw your camera, he spent five minutes looking through the lens and observing Hyrule through the camera, commenting on how fascinating it is to take pictures

There is no doubt in my mind that there’s around two hundred blurry photos of Sidon trying to operate the camera, and eight hundred more selfies of you two doing the trademark Sidon smile pose

Riju:

You woke up in a hot—no scratch that—boiling desert after heading home from the store, your new portable T.V. in one hand, your backpack in your other hand, and… there’s something licking your face??

Opening your eyes, there’s a familiar-looking sand seal and a young chieftess inspecting your foreign figure that’s somehow ended up in the middle of the Gerudo Desert

Make no mistake: you totally fell off Patricia while Riju took you back to town

Since that initial introduction, Riju has been naturally intrigued by you and your technology, but definitely assumed a certain amount of caution

And by caution I mean Bularia forcefully interrogated you about your stuff (by spilling all of it on the floor) and intentions until she deemed you safe, even though Riju proclaimed it wasn’t necessary

Other than that, Riju was like any other enquiring child, albeit in a slightly more professional manner

She inquired about where you came from and how you got there for security reasons, but later she asks more personal questions about your family and your home

Genuinely fascinated about your way of life, but tries to disguise it as mandatory questions to make sure you’re not a threat to try and maintain her mature, chieftess appearance in front of others

She was most curious about your portable T.V., seeing as that was your largest item you had on hand and the item that seemed most alien

With Bularia keeping close watch, you popped in a disc of your favourite movie, and it was all over

Riju was hooked

She flinched at first when the graphics appeared on the screen, but her eyes got insanely big with wonder

Ever since that moment, she shyly asks to see the rest of your objects once she has a break from overseeing the town

She tries to not get distracted, but how can she not? No one in Gerudo Town has seen tech like this before, so watching movies feels comforting for Riju

On some nights when she’s not busy, she’ll request to watch movies with you in her room while being surrounded by her mass of sand seal plushies

Your phone is also a huge point of interest for her

dw she's not like that one kid who's like "do you have games on your phone"

You’ll let her use it sometimes, but she has to ask for help constantly because 1. It’s a phone and 2. There’s no setting for ‘Hylian’ script for her to read off of

She'll occasionally 'confiscate' your items for 'safety measures', but in reality she just wants a closer look

She mainly uses it to take pictures of Patricia once you teach her how to use it properly

She was in awe when you changed your wallpaper to a picture of Patricia, and thought it was sweet you did that for her

Your keychains catch her eye too more often than not

She thinks they’re really cute
