Until he started befriending the firefighter who should be training him, Tommy Kinard.

"I outrank you, I can call you whatever I want." He moves progressively closer to his tense body "Evan, I can tell why you have an erection right now" His voice and lips move closer to Buck's ear. "And I want the truth."
Buck turns to look at him, his eyes full of shyness and anger meeting hers.
"They were jerking me off" his body tenses against wall and his legs begin to tremble. "I won't do it again."
"Everyone has their needs Evan, I could help you finish yours" Her hands go to the wall where Evan is lying. "You just have to ask."
"I've been weighing on this a lot" his hands come up Tommy's chest.
"Think hard about the things you want to say."
"I want you to help me" his voice trembles as he utters those words.
"I like what you're thinking, I want to know what other things you're thinking" Tommy says pushing his body into Buck's body.

Buck tries to joke with Maya and annoy her by pretending to flirt, then Buck watches Eddie talking about her with Carina and later asks Maya how he realized that she liked her girlfriend.
Maya tells him "Believe me, you like him. You look at Eddie with the same look and the same intensity as I did when I saw Carina."
Buck remains silent thinking about Maya's words and discreetly watches Eddie drink his coffee.
Maya lets him think for a few seconds and then interrupts him, "When did you start having feelings for him?"
Buck fearfully responds "I think I knew from the first moment I saw him, my life took a turn after that moment and I think it was the best thing that happened to me>"
"Then there's your answer," Maya added, taking a sip of her drink. "He You can see his chemistry, he hasn't stopped seeing you even though he has a woman as beautiful as Carina in front of him."

"You could hide it a little, they look like two children who are just living their adolescence" Carina blurts out while they are standing in line to Pay.
"I feel like I'm a child. I've never felt something so intense for anyone and that terrifies me too much, it terrifies me that when I take a wrong step everything will end badly."
If Carina has learned anything during all her years in hospitals and caring for her brother, it is that feelings are important.
"It's okay to be afraid," she puts her hand on Eddie's shoulder. "That's a clear sign that you really love him and that's why you don't want to hurt him, but you should tell him what he feels as soon as possible."
Eddie turns to look at the table Maya and Buck are sitting at. The eyes of his best friend and his connect for magical seconds.
"I know, I just have to get more courage to say it and talk to Christopher about it."
It's Carina's turn to pay the bill.
"We've known you for a long time, Christopher has two parents and he knows it well. We all know that you like each other, you both even know it"
"I will, today I will confess everything" Eddie mentions, wiping the beads of sweat from his face.
¬Maya and Buck approach them after finishing their conversation.
"We're ready to go" Maya asks her wife.
"Yup, see you, we have to look for Liam at daycare."
They say goodbye to both men, both seem to be shaking and sweating even though it hasn't stopped snowing for 3 days.
"Do you think they'll finally confess their feelings?" Carina inquires.
"I'm sure that's how it will be" he pulls her towards her and gives her a kiss "They've been through a lot together, almost as much as we have. They deserve to live happily for a long time and I know that time of happiness will begin soon"
