Chapter 4
Summary: She was not where she was supposed to be. Birthed from the womb of a goddess and raised as a Spartan. She must try and learn what it means to be a parent all the while trying to navigate this new world she is in.
“I think we all wish we could erase some dark times in our lives. But all of life's experiences, bad and good, make you who you are. Erasing any of life's experiences would be a great mistake.” - Luis Miguel
Rhea could hear the little bell of the door chime as they walked through. Upon first glance Rhea was not too impressed by it, she was used to pubs back in Svartalfheim when she was an apprentice under Veijo Vorhoc. A well known dwarven blacksmith that had agreed to teach her after witnessing her stick her hand into a large pit of lava to try and get some metal ore to make her mother a gift. Her burned flesh on her right arm throbbed slightly at the memory, but quickly shook the memory away as she and Jaked walked toward the bar. Out of the corner of her eyes she could make out two distinct figures.
One of them was a large bald man, she could tell that he had been through a lot just by the alert way he was looking her way. The other was obviously a police officer, though she couldn't really make out what station he worked for. Rhea returned her attention forward toward the bartender, who was looking at her with an uneasy expression, however, he still greeted her with a kind voice,
“Hello ma'am. Is there something I can help you with?”
“Forgive me for intruding and disrupting your patrons evening, but my nephew and I are new to the city. We are wondering if you could give us directions to the Raccoon City Police Department.” Rhea replied back with a calm tone, she could feel Jake grip her hand a bit and tighten his hold slightly.
Just as she finished speaking, she could hear a male voice chime in with curiosity,” Mind if I ask what you need at the RPD?”
Turning her head to face the one that spoke, she was greeted to the sight of a rugged male with short brown hair that seemed to frame his face, his hazel colored eyes glittering with interest. Just as she was about to answer the other man she saw chimed in gruffly after taking a bite of food,” Kevin left the woman to her business. Just because you work there doesn't mean everyone wants you in their business.”
The man that was known as Kevin chimed in with a laid back tone,” Jeez Mark. I just asked her a question. Don't need to start acting like I am hitting on her.”
She watched the dark skinned male, give Kevin a glare, however, it was instantly stopped when the sound of a bell rang again causing everyone to turn to face the man who suddenly entered the bar. Rhea could sense death coming from him in thick waves, it was similar to the thick fogs of Helheim, however her thoughts were interrupted when she noticed that the bartender that she was originally talking to walked over to the new person. Rhea slowly pulled Jake closer to her, glancing down at him as he looked up at her with a hint of uncertainty before looking back over.
However, just then the sound of a ‘thud’ caused Rhea to quickly turn back over to Mark's direction just in time to see Mark leap out of his seat to his fallen companion. She then noticed that not only Mark ran over to him, but the female waitress ran over to the fallen man as well, another man. Rhea did not have a chance to get a good look at him as the sound of a scream drew her attention away from them and back back to the bartender, who seemed to have been bitten by the man. She reacted on instinct, letting go of Jake's hand as she rushed forward slamming her fist into his face sending him flying backwards back out of the door.
As soon as the man was out, the bartender that was attacked then quickly closed the door, locking it before sliding down the door onto his rear end.
“What the hell is going on!?” Another man screamed as the sound of something thudding on the window drew their attention to the glass next to the door.
Rhea quickly turned to see a thin man with blonde colored hair, however, she didn’t bother to examine the man further as she turned to see that there were hundreds of people that seemed to be rotting trying to get in. Rhea quickly turned to Jake, rushing back over to him, picking him and placing him onto her back before turning to the other people that were still in the main area.
“We need to leave. Now,” She growled out causing most of the people that were still within the building to come alive once more.
“Auntie! Over there,” Jake said softly to her as he pointed toward the door that was near the back.
Rhea quickly rushed to the door just in time to hear a female let out a fearful scream, running on autopilot, she rushed to the female bathroom and flung it open. Inside she could see a black haired female being dragged toward an open ventilation that was near the bottom of the wall.
“Boy,” Rhea says as she darts forward grabbing the woman's hand just as Jake quickly says,
*Vita*
Jake had managed to use the backpack to help him get a perch to allow him to shoot off an arrow at the arm. This allowed Rhea to pull the woman free, and push her out the door and back into the main area where the others were. After the door closed behind them, Rhea instantly noticed that the blonde haired waitress from before opening up the door.
“This way!” She called out standing to the side to allow the others to go through. Rhea noticed that the man Mark and the brown haired man were helping who she assumed was his partner.
The man, Kevin, rushed over to her, gently taking the young woman that she saved in the bathroom and asked with worry,” You okay, Yoko?”
The petite woman nodded her head not speaking much, before Rhea quickly cut in,” Let us go. We need to leave now.”
Kevin looked at her, nodding his head before leading the woman, Yoko, toward the door that blonde haired waitress opened. Rhea turned to look just in time to see the front door being broken open and the undead poured into the building. Rhea did not want Jake to see the end of the bartender so she quickly rushed into the door herself, closing it behind her, reaching for the dresser and pushed in front of the door. Taking two steps at a time she quickly got to the second floor where there were a total of nine people on the second floor. She scanned the survivors, noticing that there were three women and six men, Jake gently poked her in the cheek causing her to look back at him. She lifted her hand up and gently tapped him on the head.
It was something her and Jake had developed to ensure the other was alright and didn’t stay in their head too long. As soon as she put her hand back down to her side she heard a female voice huff out,” What now? I don't know what the hell is going on, but we obviously can't stay here.``
Rhea glanced over at the woman, she had short strawberry blonde hair and she wore a red suit which was strange to her. However, another voice chimed in, a smooth male voice replied,” While I agree with you, Alyssa, please be mindful of the young man in our midst.”
This caused the woman to pause as she looked over at Rhea and Jake before grumbling under her breath just as Rhea was about to say something when Kevin quickly spoke,” Look I agree that we need to get out of here. George, do you think Bob is okay to continue onward?”
Rhea watched as the brunette looked over at the elderly man, frowning as he turned to look at Kevin and replied back,” I am unsure. I don't know what is ailing him. I have a feeling that it has something to do with what is going on here.”
While the others were speaking, Rhea began to look around, she could feel Jake let go of her and land upon his feet and went to stand next to her. It was then a soft gruff voice softly asked,” Are you two alright? You just came into town right?”
She turned to her right to see a man with dark brown hair almost black in color. She could tell from his tool set that he was some type of maintenance worker. Rhea nodded her head as she replied, “We are fine. Yes we traveled a great distance to get here.”
However, before more could be said as everyone went quiet at the sudden sound of banging down the stairs. And in that moment they knew that time was now not on their side and they needed to get out of the bar as quickly as they could. Rhea had no plans on dying nor was she going to fail Jake. She would make it out of here one way or another.

Chapter 3
“We must embrace pain and burn it as fuel for our journey.” - Kenji Miyazawa
Rhea stood at attention when Madonia handed her a large black backpack along with a smaller one.
“Please take these with you and Jake when you both go hunting. I have a request if I may ask,” Madonia said with a small yet sad smile.
“You need only ask,” Rhea replied as she placed the backpack onto her back, while still holding onto Jake's, since he was still in the house eating his breakfast.
“If anything happens to me, please find Jake's father. He should be in Raccoon City,” Madonia said with a hint of worry, just as Rhea was about to ask her what was wrong, Madonia raised a hand to silence her before she continued onward,” Please don't ask any questions, we are limited on time. Within your bag is the paperwork for you and Jake everything you need to ensure your travels to the United States is a smooth one. As well as instructions on how to get there,” She glanced over at the house where Jake was still inside,” You have become like an aunt to him… Please cremate me and place some of my ashes within this small container… This way he will have a small bit of comfort.”
Rhea took the small necklace with a little tub attached to it as much as Rhea wanted to push for more answers, Jake yelled out,” I’m ready, Auntie!”
Rhea turned to see Jake running toward them with a grin, Rhea placed the necklace discreetly in her pocket before lifting the bag up to Jake and said,” Respect your mother and greet her first. Here out this on and speak to your mother before we go.”
Jake puffed out his cheeks playfully as she took the bag from him and put the bag on before turning to his mother. Rhea walked a bit away giving the two some privacy as she watched the two she thought back to her own family and mentally hoped that they were well. She could see that Jake seemed to have a concerned look on his face before he hugged his mother tightly before releasing her and running over to Rhea looking uneasy. As Rhea led them into the woods she glanced over at Jake asking him,
“What’s the matter, boy?”
Jake had come to get used to the nickname she had come to call him as he replied,”  Mom seemed weird today. She asked me to stick with you and that she loves me and that she'll always be with me.”
Rhea frowned, just as she opened her mouth to speak to him, a large explosion happened behind them sending them on high alert. Instantly noticing where the explosion had come from, Rhea quickly picked up Jake, swinging onto her back as she had always done and they began to run back toward the house. When they arrived they were greeted with an inferno of flames;
“MOM!!! MOMM!!” Jake screamed as he jumped off her back and was about to go run inside, however, Rhea quickly stopped him from going in and placed him behind the tree.
“Stay here,” Rhea commanded before she turned, running into the building after kicking in the door.
“Madonia! Madonia!” Rhea yelled out as she ran through the now destroyed home as she turned to the left she could see the woman she was calling on the floor unmoving.
Fearing for her friends she reached up grabbing the flaming boards, quickly pulling them off and running inside. As she knelt down next to Madonia, feeling for a pulse, but could find none. Rhea let out a low growl before hefting her body into her arms and got out of the house just as it collapsed on itself.
“Mom!” Jake cried out as he ran toward them.
Rhea clenched her eyes shut for a moment before opening them, slowly, she turned to Jake, and slowly placed Madonia down onto the ground. Rhea watched as Jake slowed down as he got closer, realization dawned on him as he whimpered out,
“Mom… Mom… Wake up Mom…”
She could only watch as he fell down next to her and began to shake her, trying to wake her to no avail. As Jake cried, she walked over and knelt next to him pulling him close to her allowing him to sob into her chest as she allowed her own tears to silently fall. Hours seemed to have gone by as they had gathered themselves and quickly held a makeshift funeral pyre. When Madonia's body was fully ash, she walked over to it and put some of the ash into the necklace. Using some of her flames, pushing them into her thumb and sealing the small container, she engraved her death date into the side.
As she walked away toward where Jake was standing listlessly, she handed him the necklace which surprised him, but he put it on.
“We have said our goodbyes. Now we must fulfill your mother's last wish. This will be a long and arduous hunt,” Rhea said as she knelt down, placing a hand upon his shoulders allowing him to look at her with worry,” We are to go to the city known as Raccoon City in the United States. Your mother wanted us to find your father.”
She could see the flash of anger in his blue eyes before she quickly continued to speak,” No matter what I will not leave you. I am unsure of why she wants us to find him, but it was her last request. When we do, we will decide what to do from there. Are you ready?”
Jake took a deep breath as he looked up at her and weakly asked,” You won’t leave me, auntie?”
“You are stuck with me until the end of time, boy,” Rhea replied back with weak amusement.
Jake returned a weak smile to her before reaching up and gripping her hand tightly as they turned glanced once more at the now smoldering house. After a few more minutes, Rhea made sure to keep a tight hold on Jake as they turned and walked away. They didn't pay much attention to time as they left Edonia and managed to get to the United States without much issue. Rhea had managed to use her magic to hide her weapons as well as Jake's bow from the people searching their bags. Soon the two were in a small rental vehicle, and began to make their way toward Raccoon City.
Despite the long drive they eventually arrived in the city, however, Rhea was unsure of where the police department was on top of that she noticed that the roads were extremely quiet. This instantly put Rhea on alert, she pulled over in front of what appeared to be some type of bar, despite not wanting to take Jake inside she knew she had no choice. After turning around to see Jake sleeping, Rhea let out a soft sigh as she reached back and gently tapped his leg to try and wake him. She watched as he stirred awake as he rubbed his left eye as he looked at her tiredly,
“Are we there yet?”
“Not yet. Something is wrong and I am unsure of where this city's police station is,” Rhea said as she faced forward and took off her seatbelt.
“What's wrong, auntie?” Jake asked as he unbuckled himself as well as he looked over out of his window.
“This city is too quiet. I don't hear cars or anything else. Make sure to grab your bow and your backpack,” Rhea said as she quickly got out and headed toward the back end of the car, opening the trunk.
She quickly sheathed her blades as well as placed her hammer onto her side, using magic she made sure that they were invisible to mortals, and she quickly grabbed her large black backpack that was given to her with everything. After she closed the trunk, Rhea walked over to Jake's side, opening the door for him allowing him to get out and helped him with the backpack as well as the bow. Once it was on him securely, she used her magic once again to hide it from the eyes of other mortals.
“Do you remember the word to reveal your bow should you need it?” Rhea questioned Jake.
Jake nodded his head as he replied back,” Yeah. It's vita.”
Rhea watched with amusement as the bow suddenly appeared in a green glow, causing Jake to look at her sheepishly as he said,” Whoops.”
She rubbed his head as she waved her hand and once again made it go invisible as she replied back,” Well done. Come let us get instructions on how to get to our destination.”
Rhea stood straight as she reached her hand out to Jake's, allowing to take it and give a squeeze. She returned it with one of her own before leading them inside of the bar and into a new type of war. One that neither had hoped nor wanted to join and one that will test the bonds of humanity.

Chapter 2
She was not where she was supposed to be. Birthed from the womb of a goddess and raised as a Spartan. She must try and learn what it means to be a parent all the while trying to navigate this new world she is in.
“Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don't know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishing.” - Anais Nin
Rhea was always told that she was a light sleeper and she was thankful for that face when she heard the door to her room quietly open. The sounds of light footsteps entering the area where she was resting, not making any sudden moves, she cracked her eye open. From the corner she could make out the boy, Jake, looking at her hammer with a curious expression. However, as he reached out to touch it, she spoke out with a hint of tiredness,
“I am sure your mother has taught you not to touch other people's stuff, much less a guest's room without expressed permission.”
At the sound of her voice Jake jumped in surprise before quickly turning to face her, eyes glittering with distrust as he replied back,” I just… wanted to look at it.”
“If you wish to look at it. You should have knocked to see if I was awake and asked me. Doing things like that will get you killed boy,” Rhea huffed out as she opened her eyes, sitting up in the bed before swinging her legs off the bed.
She watched as Jake stiffened as if expecting her to be angry, Rhea simply let out a yawn before standing up and stretching. She look at him, placing her hand upon her right hip as she asked,
“How old are you, boy?”
She watched with amusement as he glared up at her, replying back with anger,” My name is Jake. I'm six years old!”
Rhea let out a huff as she walked over to her hammer, picking it up and attaching it to her hip as she responded,” So you are.” Rhea then walked over to her swords, placing them back onto her back, glancing over her shoulder she continued,” Is your mother here, boy?”
She watched as Jake let out an angry huff as he replied back,” Mom, went out to help anyone that was injured during the attack.”
Rhea frowned, nodding her head as she turned to face forward and walked out the door, she could hear the small footsteps of Jake following after her. As she walked down the hallway, seh eventually came upon the kitchen as she entered she could hear Jake following behind her.
“If you are hungry we got food in the fridge, but it's not much,” Jake quietly muttered as he watched as Rhea walked over to the fridge and opened it. Rhea let out hum as too inventory of what was in there, she closed it before looking into the fridge before letting a huff. “What are you looking for?” He asked as softly as before.
“I see you do not have any meat. So I shall go hunt for some. There is a forest nearby, correct?” Rhea asked, turning and looking at Jake with a raised eyebrow.
Jake huffed one more as he responded,” Yes there is. Mom told me it's too dangerous to go there plus I am not old enough to go there.”
Rhea chuckled as she walked past him, toward the front door, as she spoke out to him,” Then wait here while I go hunt for food.” Jake instantly shook his head before exclaiming,” No! You can't..”
Rhea caught a glimpse of a hint of loneliness in his eyes before she chimed up,” Then come along, boy. I'll ensure no harm comes to you. We must set out so that I can make you a decent bow.”
Jake's head instantly perked up at the mention of him possibly getting a bow, “I can help?”
Rhea let out a huff of amusement as she replied back,” Yes, boy. You can let us be off.”
“It's Jake! Not Boy!” Jake yelled out as he ran after her as they walked out of the front door. After watching Jake lock the door with the key that he had hanging around his neck, he walked over to stand next to her before she led them toward the nearby forest. Once they were within the forest, Rhea walked over to an old tree, placing her left hand upon it. She softly muttered,
*Skapa*
Her hand began to glow an orangish yellow glow before she gently pulled her back with a large green orb following her hand. She quickly turned toward a downed stump and placed it upon it before reaching for her hammer that was on her hip. Once it was securely in her hand, she began to hammer the green orb until it began to take the shape of a longbow. After a few more slams of her hammer, Rhea stopped, placing her hammer back in its holder and used her right hand to wipe away the green aura revealing a wooden longbow with green veins around it. Rhea looked at it before turning to face Jake, who was staring at her and the bow in her hand in awe.
“Come here. This is yours,” Rhea called out to him, causing him to look at her in surprise. Slowly, he walked over to where she was standing, holding out the bow to him and allowed him to take it. She watched as he examined it, running finger over the string, however, he winced as he quickly pulled his finger away to examine it.
“Do not worry the cut will heal. This bow now truly yours and yours alone. No other may wield it,” Rhea explained, watching a hint of amusement as he looked at her before returning his gaze to the string, gripping it and pulling it back. It was sudden, as an arrow appeared where he had gripped the string causing him to let out a shout of surprise and released the string. The arrow flew toward Rhea's face, but she quickly caught it. She looked at Jake with a raised eyebrow as she spoke sternly,
“Pay attention and do not be impatient.”
“I am not impatient!” Jake replied with anger as he turned his glare to the ground.
Rhea let out a huff, as she spoke in a more soft tone,” What angers you so, boy? I highly doubt that my presence has caused such anger.”
Rhea watched as Jake's shoulders slumped as he allowed the bow to sit on his side as he spoke quietly,” Every time I ask mom about who my dad was she gets sad and tells me that he was brilliant, stern, and passionate. All kinds of stuff. Mom would go on and on about how great he is, but he isn't here. He is not helping us. He probably abandoned us.”
Rhea instantly recognized the anger as she had once held the same anger herself. Letting out a soft sigh she walked over to him, gently placing a hand upon his shoulder and began to speak,
“You need to let that anger go,” “Why!? He left us-” Jake angrily said, however, he quieted when he noticed the look that Rhea was giving him as she continued,” When I was your age I did not know who my father was. All my mother would tell me was that my father was kind to her, but was obsessed with his rage against those who wronged him.”
Jake didn't say anything as he looked up at her with a tense yet curious stare, so she continued, “At the time I could not understand why we did not matter to him. Why his rage was more important than us. When I got older… I found my father, however, I learned that he had another family and my anger surged forth-” Rhea paused as she looked down at Jake with understanding as she continued,” However, my mother was near, quickly taking me into her arms and took me away from the area. I could not think all I could do was feel anger and hatred as a result I wound up harming my mother.”
“Harmed your mother?” Jake parroted with fear, Rhea did not hide anything from him as she continued,” Yes I harmed my mother. When I came too and I realized what I had done, all I could feel was guilt, but my mother didn't blame and continued to guide me.”
“She wasn't mad?” Jake asked softly.
“No. She wasn't mad. Despite what I had done she forgave me, but I would feel guilty and I still do. That day taught me that I needed to temper my anger, control it so I didn't lose control of my emotion nor lose my sense of self. I tell you this because if I can prevent someone from being consumed by anger then I will do so,” Rhea said as she removed her hand from his shoulder allowing him time to process.
“W-Will you teach me how to use the bow and… how to hunt?” Jake asked as he looked up at her with a spark in his eyes.
Rhea smirked a bit as she replied back,” I am a strict teacher.”
Jake grinned as he replied back,” I'm ready.”
Rhea chuckled as she lead Jake further into the woods, for the next few months she would teach Jake how to survive, how to hunt and how to live. As the months went by Madonia had taught Rhea how to drive, as well as how to blend into the modern world a bit better than before. Until one day when she pulled Rhea to the side and it was the day that everything would change.

Summary: She had escaped. She had to run as far as she was able to with. In a all encompassing darkness with only sound and spirits to help guide her path. Now, she is another type of hell one that will once again push her to the brink of insanity.
A cold gust of wind cut through her body as she ran. All she could see was darkness, with only the sounds of the animals guiding her. Panting, she slowly came to stop. She wrapped her arms around her body and strained her ears to listen. It was then she suddenly could hear the familiar male voice yell out,
“Avania! Come back here, darling!”
She felt her hair stand on end as she quickly began to run again, unknowing of her destination, despite the noises of the forest helping guide her steps she didn’t account for the tree root that was below her feet. She could feel her body fall landing hard in the ice cold snow. She slowly pushed herself up onto her knees, sitting upon them she noticed that the sounds she had once heard were no longer there. Avania could feel the snow melting onto her bare legs, reminding her of her location. Her fear increased as she heard someone approaching her from her left.
As the person’s boots crunched the snow, she could barely make out the sounds bouncing around her.
“What the hell?” She heard a gruff voice growling out.
Avania wrapped her arms tighter around her as she meekly called out,” Who is there? Please just point me to a road and I’ll leave.”
“Calm down, kid. There isn’t a way to leave here. Names William Overbeck, but everyone calls me Bill,” The man said as she could hear a small whipping sound as if something was being waved in front of her face.
Avania picked up on the strong scent of cigarettes and pine coming from him. Slowly, she raised her hand up, and she suddenly felt it meet his  larger hand. She could feel that he had callouses along his palm and fingers signaling to her that the man in front of her lived a hard life.
“ You can’t see. Can you, kid?” He asked gruffly as he gently helped her feet.
“Yes… I have been blind for all my life. I'm sorry… My name is Avania Ramos.” She said weakly as she felt the coldness of the snow stinging at her bare feet.
“Nice name. Wish we could have met under better circumstances, but I’ll need you to try and keep close to me. This place ain’t safe,” Bill said as he gently took her hand and placed it on his shirt or his jacket.
Avania couldn’t tell as she gripped it tightly as she replied weakly,” Alright, Bill. Will you explain to me what is going on?”
She could hear the wind blowing as she followed Bill quietly as she could hear him huff before responding, “I’ll tell you everything later. Right now we are in danger, and we have to keep quiet.”
Avania could feel her heartbeat race as felt her grip tighten slightly as she felt herself begin to shake.
“Okay,” She replied shakily, willing to wait for her answers as she was unsure of where she was at.
Avania could feel Bill lead her for what seemed like hours, however, they eventually came to a stop. As soon as they did she suddenly heard someone let out a scream, followed by the sound of something tearing into flesh. She began to shake as she felt Bill crouch causing her to follow his body movements. When she crouched she quietly and fearfully asked,” Please tell me what's going on? I heard someone screaming.``
“Dammit…” Bill growled as he began to fiddle with something.
Avania could hear the sounds of sparks emanated from whatever Bill was working on. As she turned in the general direction of the sound of a metal scraping against each other. Despite the darkness she could see with her mind's eye outlines of different items. However, she could just barely make out what each item was and is. From what she could make out it seemed that Bill appeared to be working on some kind of machine. Before she could demand anymore answers from Bill, a faint image of a blue butterfly fluttered in front of her and a small female child's voice called out softly,
“You need to hide. Hurry!”
“We need to hide,” Avania whispered out fearfully as she gently tugged on the cloth she had in her hand.
She suddenly heard Bill suddenly stop working on whatever was causing the sparking sound she had heard. Avania could feel Bill gently pull her away from wherever they were at and slowly began to make their way to a different location. They eventually came to a stop near some type of bushes or some type of trees.
“Looks like that stupid wannabe star is gone. Look, kid, we are in some kind of other realm. There are two other’s here in this place with me and now you. We have to activate a bunch of stupid old hunk of junks to power our only way out,” Bill quietly huffed out.
Avania could hear the soft crinkly of snow underneath him as the noise waves produced a faint outline of him in her mind's eye. She could see him shift, looking around what appeared to be a plant of some kind though she wasn't sure.
“What was that scream? Was someone getting hurt?” Avania asked softly, fearfully as she shivered.
She could hear Bill shift again before he gently took her hand off the cloth she was holding. Avania instantly stiffened as she thought he was going to leave her, however, she relaxed when she felt something heavy cover her shoulders. Slowly, he helped her put it over her arms and pulled it up.
“Unfortunately, kid, we are brought in with some type of psycho. This time we are stuck with a stupid punk ass that is called the Trickster. Don’t ask about that stupid name,” Bill gripped as he gently took her hand and placed it back onto what she now knew was his shirt.
“I see. Do you know what brought us here?” Avania asked softly as she felt a pull on his shirt signaling her to follow him as he led them toward what she assumed was going to be another generator.
As they came to a stop, Avania could hear Bill begin to work on the generator as he did so, she took the time to listen to their surroundings as she did Bill began to speak,
“We have taken to calling the thing that brought us here ‘The Entity’. Don't know much more than that. Other than it's some type of eldritch entity from what the others told me.”
“I… I understand…” Avania replied back softly as she gripped his shirt tighter.
As the wind began to pick up she could still make out the outline of several trees around them and nearby. It was completely peaceful to her, however, that illusion was shattered when she suddenly heard the sound of something thudded against the tree nearby.
“Shit. He is heading this way,” Bill muttered angrily as he stopped working on the generator, quickly, but gently grabbed Avania's hand leading her away.
Avania quietly followed as felt him stop before pushing her into a spot surrounded by what she assumed was rocks based upon what little outline she could see thanks to the wind that was blowing around them as well as the really rough texture.
“Stay here kid. No matter what you hear, don't come out from here. Until I come back or I send one of the other survivors to come for you,” Bill said with a gruff tone, however, before he could say anything he was gone.
Avania quietly whimpered as she curled her legs up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them as she quietly waited like Bill had told her to do. She didn't know how long she waited until she heard something go off, like a loud alarm of some kind. As she turned her head toward where the sound was, she could make out the faint outline of some kind of door.
“You are Avania. right?” A soft female voice asked her.
Avania jumped, realizing she was not focusing on her surroundings as much as she should have been before she weakly replied,” Yes I am… Did Bill send you?”
“I'm Nancy. Come on, I'll lead you to the door,” She replied as she gently grabbed Avania's hand and began to lead her to what she assumed was the door she had mentioned.
“Nancy… Is Bill okay?” She asked with a shaky tone, afraid that her first friend was injured or worse.
She could hear Nancy let out a soft sigh as she replied,” He should be at the exit, waiting for us.”
Avania didn't say anything more as she followed behind her silently allowing her to lead her to where she assumed where the exit was. As her feet crunched against the snow she could make out the outlines of walls, and nearby buildings. Fear slowly crept up her spine as she felt Nancy come to a stop, cursing under her breath as she quickly said,
“Quick, crouch down, we'll have to be quick since the door is open and the entity likes to collapse the world. Do you think you can run?” She asked, tightening her grip on Avania’s hand, causing her to squeeze her hand back as she nodded her head. “Alright, on the count of three we run. One. Two. Three!”
Avania allowed herself to be pulled forward, getting back to her feet and quickly followed behind to the best of her ability. She didn't have time to process the sound of feet following behind them as she could feel the coldness of snow slowly turn into grass that was warm. To Avania it seemed that she had managed to escape one hell only to be pulled into another. She could only hope that there was at least some peace where they were headed to.

Chapter 1
She was not where she was supposed to be. Birthed from the womb of a goddess and raised as a Spartan. She must try and learn what it means to be a parent all the while trying to navigate this new world she is in.
“War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.” – J.R.R. Tolkien, The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings, #2)

Blood flew from wounds. Fists met with flesh before she had managed to slam her hammer into the head of the witch as they landed upon the snow covered ground.  Slowly, she stood up, her dark brown eyes took in the land around her as she placed her hammer back into its proper slot on her hip. It is then she noticed that the buildings that were in front of her were similar in design to those her mother told her about from her world. Just as she started to walk forward toward the building she heard the sound of several pops followed by a female yelping in pain.
Not thinking much on it, she quickly reached behind her where her two blades rested upon her lower back, pulling them from their sheaths. Blades in hand she darted forward toward where she had heard the sound coming from as she entered what she believed was the main street, she instantly noticed a woman holding her son close to her.  There were several men surrounding her and the child holding what she assumed were automatic weapons not waiting for anything to happen, she charged at them. One of the men heard her approaching from behind, as he turned to see her fully, she used her right hand to swing a blade severing his throat.
Blood spurted from the wound causing  the other men that were nearby to turn toward her with their weapons raised. Before they could start firing on her, she quickly sank both her blades into the chest area, releasing the handles of the blades and stepped back. This allowed her to summon chains of molten rage to flow from her hands as she reached the end of the chain within her tight grip, she quickly swung the man toward the others sending them flying backward into a nearby wall. The wall collapsed most likely killing them in the process, as soon as her blades were back into her hands she felt something graze her left arm from behind.
She turned around raising her left arm, allowing her shield to spring forth just as her father's did. She could hear the pinging of the bullets ricocheting off it, not standing idly she ran toward the last man, as soon as she was close enough she slammed the shield into his head. She watched as his body hit the floor before shoving her blade into his heart. Once she was sure he was no longer moving, she removed the blade from his body, and then sheathed both the blades before pressing a button on her arm armor to withdraw her shield back. Her eyes glanced from the body toward the woman and child.
She could see the fear and curiosity in their eyes, however, she did not want to remain in this area. However, she did not want to leave the two in the midst of what she assumed was a war torn realm.
“You two should leave. Especially since you have your son with you,” she spoke out wtih a low growl.
She watched them for a moment before she turned back around to leave the area once she could see the brunette woman slowly get to her feet. She did not move over two feet away when the woman called out, accent thick upon her voice, “Wait! It is dangerous here. I can offer you shelter in return for your assistance earlier.”
She turned around looking at the woman before letting out a soft huff,” I can take care of myself, however, I am in need of lodgings until I can make my own home.”
She watched as the woman nodded her head, picking her young son, and jerked her head toward the street behind her,” Follow me. I'll show you back to our home. My name is Madonia Muller and this is my son Jake. May we ask for your name?”
“You may call me Rhea,” She replied back as she followed through several streets, taking note of the war torn conditions.
“It is an honor to meet you, Rhea. Can you tell me where you are from? I saw a light and then you appeared,” Madonia asked as they entered what appeared to be some form of housing area near the outskirts of the town.
“I am from an ancient place. One that cannot be reached through normal means. That is all I will say,” Rhea replied as they stopped in front of the door of what appeared to be a quaint little house.
It was obvious by the boarded up windows as well some of the damage done to the outside walls.  Madonia reached into her pocket, pulling out a key and opening up the door. Once they were inside, Rhea was greeted to a homely house, Rhea glanced upon the walls and could see that they had several photos of both her and her son. However, her attention was drawn away by Madonia speaking,” I understand. Please follow me. I'll show you to the guest room. You can rest there.” She sat the young boy, Jake, down onto the ground before signaling her to follow.
Rhea watched out of the corner of her eyes as Jake climbed up onto the nearby couch, sitting down and watched as Rhea and his mother passed by. She followed  Madonia down a small hallway toward a door, they stopped in front of it. Madonia opened the door allowing Rhea to see that it was a somewhat small room with a medium sized bed and several small dressers.
“It's not much, but you are more than welcome to use it as thanks for save me and my son,” Madonia spoke softly to her.
Rhea simply let out a hum as she stepped inside and looked around before speaking gruffly,” This will suffice I need not more. Tell me why were those men trying to kill you and your son?”
Rhea noticed the hesitation to answer her question, unsure if she was trustworthy, however, she noticed a familiar set of blue eyes peering around the doorframe. Rhea let out a small huff as she spoke,” A story for another time. It seems the boy needs you.”
At the mention of her son Madonia turned to face her son, walking over to him crouching down and began to speak to him in a language she didn't understand. Despite not understanding the language she could see that Jake was uncomfortable in her presence and so she spoke out loud,” The boy is obviously uncomfortable with my presence. Any further conversations regarding the situation outside and about me I am sure can be addressed in the morning.”
Madonia glanced over at Rhea with a slightly grateful look before nodding her head, wrapping an arm around her son's shoulders she said,'' You are correct. Come Jake, let us leave so Ms. Rhea can sleep.”
“Okay mom,” Jake muttere, lowly as he glanced up at Madonia and then toward Rhea.
Rhea simply nodded to them, watching as they left the room with Madonia closing the door behind her. Once they were gone, Rhea began to remove her blades from her back and laid them upon the nearby shelf. She then took off her hammer, staring at the black and red metal for a moment before setting it on the floor. She walked over to the bed, sitting down upon it before allowing herself to lay in it properly after she removed her boots. As she laid there, she stared up at the plain ceiling and began to wonder how her family was doing without her. Rhea hope that no one blamed themselves for her choices before she closed her eyes and drifted off into a fitful slumber.

Wanderer: Chapter 2
Summary: She died. Her child unborn. A heart shattered. However, she is commanded to live for another. Now, she must do so while trying not to fall apart and try to survive to find her purpose.
If there was one thing that Calysta noticed instantly that she seemed to be much shorter than the people of this world. After exiting the doors she noticed a male figure that was standing near some stones nearby, slowly, she approached him. He seemed to have taken notice of her as he stood up straighter. He was a strange sight, he seemed to wear a unusual grey colored mask he was also wearing what seemed to be grey rags possible with armor and
“Oh yes… Tarnished are we?” He asked, causing Calysta to tilt her head slightly in confusion. However, he seemed to ignore it as he continued to speak in a almost mocking tone,” Come to the Lands Between for the Elden Ring, hmm? Of course you have. No shame in it.”
*Elden Ring?* Calysta thought to herself with utter confusion. As much as she wished to ask this person questions, something within her told her he was not a friend. So she allowed him to continue uninterrupted, “ Unfortunately for you, however, you are maidenless. Without guidance. Without grace, without the strength of runes, and without an invitation to the Round Table Hold…” He paused for but a moment before finishing,” You are fated it seems, to die in obscurity.”
Calysta didn't say anything as she started to walk away, as she did so he called,” By the way Tarnished. You are quite shorter than I expected.”
She could feel her eye twitch as she didn't give him a response, continuing forward, without purpose or guidance of any sort she became lost. The light that sat high in the sky was slowly waning, during her wondering she had come to encounter many opponents. Some she dispatched with relative ease others had given her a tough time. Such as with the case of the horseback rider as he was three times larger than her. She was surprised that her body held against the many strikes the knight had landed upon her. Her arms and body ached as it eventually gave way to indescribable pain.
Still she continued to walk and stumble in an unknown direction hoping for some form of ally or someone to tell her something about the world around her. It seemed her prayers were answered in the form of a strange sight before her now. It started off with someone yelling out for help, despite her current state she followed the voice until she came upon a large jar being.
“Hello! Can you help me?” He called out, causing Calysta to look around tiredly before she responded,” Yes? I can try to assist you.”
“If you could that would be that would be wonderful!” He replied back with enthusiasm.
Calysta nodded her head as she slowly made her way over to behind him, using the flat end of the sword, she used the remaining strength she had within her arms and managed to free him. The pot let out a jolly laugh, his back was turned to her as she fell to the ground feeling weak and tired. His laugh stopped immediately as he quickly rushed to her side and asked with surprise,
“Are you alright, Tarnished? My word have you taken a rest at a Grace Site?”
Calysta slowly blinked as she replied back with a croaky voice,” Grace? What is that?”
“Y-You don't know what grace is, Tarnished?” The huge pot asked her causing her to shake her head no. At the shake of her head she could feel herself being picked up, followed by the sound of footfalls and the wind blowing through her hair and against her skin. Her vision was beginning to fade in and out as her hearing began to hear the jar began to speak once more,” Hang on, Lady Tarnished! I nearly have you to a grace point.”
After that Calysta hear no more as her vision faded once more into black.
*Its good to see thee once more, Calysta,* The familiar soft male voice called out her in the inky darkness.
“Who is there!? How do you know me? Why I am here?” Calysta yelled out with fear and sorrow.
Suddenly, the once dark world was brightened revealing a large landscape filled with trees, flowers and clear lakes. Calysta looked around in awe, however, she felt a warm presence behind her causing her to turn see an extremely tall male standing near a large white tree. Slowly, she approached him she could see that he had long white hair with a full beard that stopped at the top of his chest. His glowing orangeish yellow eyes watched her as she approached and he spoke, softly as if talking to a deer,
*I am Ythos. I am life. I brought thee here to help with balance.*
“Balance… What balance?” Calysta asked with a hint of confusion as she watched him move closer to until they were standing side by side. It was then that she realized that she was extremely short compared to his massive height.*Life and death. The holder of the Elden Ring and queen of the Land Between, has removed death from the ring. Stopping the flow of the cycle. Stagnation now engulfs the world*
“Im sorry to hear that, but what does that have to do with me? I just wanted my baby… I just wanted to die with my baby…” Calysta asked with a teary tone.
*Thy will was strong. As well as your love for that which was unborn. You posses the strength to bring forth balance and reignite empathy and love for all beings. I will guide thee. I have bequeath thee with my rune. It lies within thy body.* He replied as he turned to gaze into the water, however before Calysta could ask anything more, she could feel a pull that caused her to fall backwards once again.
*Remember to find thy child in the cocoon.* Ythos commanded as she fell back into darkness.
Her eyes snapped open, quickly sitting up, she looked around before her eyes landed upon what appeared to be a diamond shaped yellow orb. It seemed to have traces of light leaving it, causing her to tilt her head in question, her thoughts however were soon interrupted when she heard the familiar male voice call out,
“Ah! I am glad you are up, Lady Tarnished. How do you fare?”
Calysta turned to see the large pot she had freed before she had fell unconscious. “I am feeling better than I was before. Thank you for helping me. May I ask what your name is?” Calysta asked with a hint of curiosity.
“The name is Alexander. Iron Fist Alexander to be more precise. I am glad you are feeling much better, Lady Tarnished.” He replied back with a booming voice.
“You can call me, Calysta. I don't suppose you would be willing to assist me. I am lost…” She began when Alexander gently cut in with confusion,” Lost, Lady Calysta? Do you not know where you are?”
Calysta looked down at the grass covered ground as she replied back meekly,” No I don't know where I am. Nor do I know what this is?” She pointed to the yellow orb,” Is this the grace point you were telling me about?”
“Have no fear, Lady Calysta. I'll assist you I may be a warrior pot, but it would do me a great disservice if I left you alone,” He began as she walked over to her side and let out a groan as he sat down,” To answer you question, yes this is a grace point. From my knowledge, Tarnished rest at these points it allows your vitality and her stamina to return. From what I noticed when you helped me was that you looked very drained and you were wounded to boot.”
“So these pointes are kind of rest spots for people such as myself?” Calysta asked softly as she felt her head begin to ach at trying to make sure that she remembered such things.
“Correct. Tell me Lady Calysta where do you hail from? You are by far the shortest Tarnished that I have met.” Alexander said as he crossed his arms over himself. Calysta couldn't help it as she puffed out her cheeks and replied back with a small bit of irritation,” You are the second individual that has mention my height. It is not my fault everyone here is much taller than myself.”
Alexander began to laugh as he replied,” Well met, Lady Calysta.” Calysta, allowed a small huff to escape her mouth as she continued to speak,” As from where I am from… I don't think you will believe me.”
“That is utter nonsense. Of course I would believe you, but if it brings back bad memories then you do not have to share,” Alexander said with a soothing tone, causing Calysta to let out another soft sigh as she replied back,
“I can use a friend. Someone to tell my tale to even if it is just seems like a fantasy tale…”
“Then I shall be your friend, Lady Calysta. Tell me your tale and I promise I'll assist you to the best of my ability. I swear it upon my honor as a warrior jar,” Alexander said thumping a fist upon the front part of his body.
Calysta smiled up at him and began to tell him her tale of her very first death and how she came to be in the land that was about to lay down a foundation of something she never would dream of happening.
(Chapter 2 is done! I hope you enjoy it and I apologize for any OOCness coming from Alexander. Let me know what you think.  )

Wanderer
Summary:
She died. Her child unborn. A heart shattered. However, she is commanded to live for another. Now, she must do so while trying not to fall apart and try to survive to find her purpose.

“The boundaries between life and death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say were one ends and where the other begins?” – Edgar Allen Poe

Lightning stuck at the skies and the skies cried in turn. The darkness was broken by the illumination of two lights. The sound screeches tires followed by the sound of something and metal slamming on the ground. Over and over until it finally stopped, allowing silence to return back to the skies. Darkness soon engulfed the lone vehicle and the lone woman that laid dead within.
Dark brown snapped open, revealing a dark sky, slowly she sits up, looking around at the vast darkness before her.
“So I am dead… My child… Oh my child…” She began to weep as her hand quickly went to her now flat stomach. “Why were we not enough for him?”
There was no on there to answer her question as she closed her eyes once more, pulling her knees to her chest, resting her head upon her knees as she continued to weep. She weep for the life of child lost and for the fact that she was too weak to leave early on.
*Weep not, young maiden. Life will be birthed anew. Take to the wheel of life and bring forth peace upon this shattered world.* A soft male female voice called out causing her tears to slowly cease.
“Who is there? I don't want to live… Not without my baby,” She asked, her head snapping up, her voice cracking as felt tears slowly well back into her eyes. The thought of her lost child caused her being to fill up with sorrow once more.
*Thee child would not want thee to weep. Rise strong, maiden. Become the new goddess. Bring forth an age of true life. For I shall grant thee the power too. Thee will find a young god weeping for a mother. Go forth, young Calysta. Thee world and thee child call for thee!*
“Wait-" Calysta screamed out as she tried to stand only to fall backward as if some type of force was pulling her down.
She let out a scream of fear, as she fell, not know where her body was to land before she knew she landed hard onto the ground. Her vision blurry as she felt something cold and wet touch her hand. As she tried to move, her body felt extremely heavy as her eyesight began to fade once more as she noticed some kneel down and speak something she couldn't make out. She fell back into darkness once more before she knew it she awakened once more. Slowly, she managed to get to her feet, unsteadily she walked forward only stopping after a few steps when she heard herself step into water.
Calysta looked down, staring at herself in the reflection of the water, she could see that nothing really changed, her skin was still the same caramel color as it always had been, her eyes had slight bags underneath them. However, the main change she noticed instantly was that her long black hair was longer than it was previously stopping at her ankles. One other thing she noticed was that she was not wearing the clothes she had on previously instead she appeared to be in wearing white and golden armor. She also had a long piece of cloth hanging from her waist nearly touching the ground.
Upon her left side was a sword within it's sheath, hesitantly, Calysta reached over, grabbing the hilt of the sword and drew it. As soon as she pulled it free, she looked over it, while it appeared to be a normal sword, however, near the base of sword was a golden head of a bear upon it. As Calysta returned the sword back to its sheath, she looked to the right and noticed a large shield resting upon the ground. Walking over to it, she was slightly surprised to see that it was also a white shield, she could tell that it was slightly heavy as she lifted it from the ground.
She glanced closer at it, and she could see that near the top it had a pair of wings with two blue stoned near the base of the wings. Calysta also noticed the golden flame like engravings that came from the tip of the winds. After she adjusted the shield so it was strapped to her arm appropriately, Calysta began to slowly continue forward, no matter how much she wanted to just sit down, and forget everything that happened to her. She remembered what the voice had told her, so she kept going forward.
“Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming,” Calysta murmured brokenly to herself as she finally made her way forward.
Calysta looked around the damp cave, taking note of something glowing nearby as she got closer she realized that it seemed to be a extremely young tree. However, unlike the trees she was used it, she could see that it seemed to be completely golden with some type of golden aura coming from it. Calysta's attention soon deviated from the tree and toward the door that was at the top of the stairs. Slowly, she made her way up the stairs, making her way through the door, as it opened she was greeted by a long hallway that seemed to enter a large chamber filled with pillars.
As she walked down the hall, she noticed a glowing gem like object that was in the center of the hall. She reached out touching it when she suddenly felt a warm sensation that was similar to the feeling of the suns rays gracing her skin engulf her body.
(This is a work in progress. Please let me know if I should continue this. Hope you enjoyed.)

Claws of a Tiger: Chapter 1
Tumblr media
(Summary: Beadu a fierce some soldier from birth. A name bestowed upon her at the age of ten when she bore no name. Her life is one of war, death, and survival was all she knew. However, she felt purposeless like a tiger with no food to hunt. However, her wondering has landed her in a foreign country and she finds her purpose in protecting a young man and her life will never be the same.)
(Trigger Warning: Mild Cussing, fighting, light blood mentioned)
‘Strong people don’t put others down… They lift them up.” - Unknown
*A name? What was a name?* She thought to herself, her small feet coated in red as she walked through the hot sun. Eventually, she came to a stop, her amber colored eyes glanced around at the bodies that surrounded her. It was nothing new to her, after all, she was born from the corpse of a woman who died in the middle of giving birth to her. At least that is what she was told, however, the young girl noticed that the light had dimmed causing her to look up. It was then she was greeted to eyes that were like hers, but not as dull as hers were.
“Why are you here?” The man before her asked softly.
“I belong here. I, born from death and given life by the wise tiger,” She softly replied as she tilted her head,” Who are you?”
“My name is -”
*Welcome to Seoul, Korea. We hope you had a wonderful flight.* A pleasant voice of a flight attendant echoed over the intercom of the plane.
Eyes once closed, opened at the sound of the intercom turning off, slowly she turned and watched as the other passengers began to stir. She watched as they slowly began to make their way off the plane and as soon as the passengers dwindled, she stood up, reaching for her only bag that she had with her. As soon as her black duffle was secured upon her shoulders, she began to exit the plane and make her way toward the entrance of the airport. She pushed her thick wavy black hair back behind her ears as she looked around letting out a soft sigh of defeat.
Taking out her phone she began to go through her limited amount of contacts, finding the one that read ‘brother,’ she pressed it allowing it to ring. However, it eventually just went to voicemail, letting out an aggravated sigh she decided to leave her brother a wonderful message,
“Beom. You knew I was coming here at your request and you don’t bother showing. Stop fucking Geum-Hoo on every surface. Don’t bother coming to the airport, I'll just walk. Love you.”
After hanging up she puts her phone away and begins her long trek toward where her new home was to be. By the time she got to the center of the city, it was mid afternoon, looking around she noticed a small little restaurant nearby. As she approached the door, she could hear the sound of something slamming into the wall coming from the alleyway next to the restaurant. As much as she knew she should mind her business, but unfortunately curiosity got the best of her. Walking over to the entrance she noticed that there was a lone male that was about her age with black hair that was gelled up to where the tip of his hair was pointed.
His dark eyes were scanning around wildly as if trying to find an exit point, but he appeared to be surrounded by other teenagers. What caught her eye was that he seemed to have large ears, however, it was put to the side when she heard one of them speak in a haughty tone,
“Well Well. Looks like Burn Knuckles Number Two is all alone without his precious leader or crew to back him up.”
“Didn’t you know you had a target on your back Jace Park? After all you and your boys decided to intervene in our business,” Another one gripped, causing the one known as, Jace Park, to smirk weakly as he replied,
“You were picking on someone weaker than you. Just to leave you without some type of punishment wouldn’t have been right.”
She could see that they were picking up two by fours to hit Jace with, if there was one thing she couldn’t tolerate was bullies. Slowly she made her way down until she was nearly a foot away from one of the guys that were surrounding. She allowed her bag to slide off her shoulder, landing on the ground with a loud thump. The sound caused the guy in front of her to quickly turn around only to be met with her fist. He was sent into the wall that was on her left, this caused the others to turn their attention to her. She looked at them with a small smile before asking with amusement in her voice,
“Blood or bone?”
This caused all of them to blink, she tilted her head before pointing to Jace, asking once again,” Blood or Bone?”
A bewildered look appeared on his face before answered hesitantly,” Umm… Bones?”
She widened her smile as she raised her hands, one rested against her stomach while the other was raised in front of her with her palms facing them. Her fingers were crooked slightly, as she waited for one of them to move. Taking their hesitance into account, she quickly charged them, using her right hand she used the base of her hand to hit one of the men underneath their nose. She could hear the sound of the other three charging, she quickly shifted her body with her right leg up in the air allowing the heel of her black steel toed to land upon another one's face sending him flying into the wall causing cracks to appear.
“You dumb bitch!” One of the two remaining screamed as he swung a metal pipe at her head.
She leaned back allowing the pipe to fly by her face before she quickly slammed the palm of her left hand into his face feeling his nose break. As he fell to the floor, hands covering his face as blood spurted from his nose, she looked over at the last one standing. She could see he was shaking like a leaf, she grinned making sure her fangs were revealed as she asked him,
“Blood or bone?”
He let out a scream as he ran past her, which caused her to simply raise an eyebrow in amusement, but only shook her head. She walked over to her bag and put it back on her shoulder, making sure to move her thick wavy black hair out of the way first. She had only taken a few steps toward the opening of the alleyway when she heard Jace call out to her,
“Hey wait!”
Stopping, she turned to see him jog up to her, and as soon as she stood still, he stopped a few inches from her before he continued to speak, “Thanks for helping me out. Name’s Jace Park. What’s yours?”
“Beadu is my name and need not thank me,” She replied as she tilted her head slightly before letting out a soft sigh before sheepishly asking,” I don’t suppose you know where there is a good place to eat. I am… lost.”
Jace let out a soft chuckle as he replied with a grin,” Yeah. Follow me, I owe you anyway. Lost? How did you get lost?”
Beadu smiled brightly as she began to follow Jace toward their destination she replied,” I have just arrived here I actually came from the airport-”
“Holy shit! You walked all the way here!?” Jace exclaimed with surprise as Beadu chuckled as she continued,” Yes. I was supposed to be picked up by my brother, but I think he got distracted by his significant other. So he more than likely forgot that I was coming today.”
“Shit that sucks. Do you know where you are staying?” Jace asked as the two eventually came to a small restaurant. Glancing at the name she could see that it read ‘Pang Gong Noodles’ before she followed Jace inside.
“I have the address. Apparently, I am supposed to be living in a penthouse in this apartment building,” Beadu grumbled as she sat down across from Jace. Once they entered, she made sure that her duffle bag was placed under the table to make sure it was out of the way of other patrons.
“Really? Jeez you must come from a rich family,” Jace commented softly, watching as Beadu reached into her pocket and pulled out a piece of paper handing it to him.
“I… suppose,” Beadu replied as she pressed her lips together. As if sensing her awkwardness about her family he took the paper, quickly saying,” I know where this place is. After we eat I can show you how to get there.”
Beadu smiled as she replied,” I would appreciate that. Thank you.”
Beadu couldn’t help the feeling that she had just made a good friend that would stay by her side at least she hoped she did. She had been known to be wrong before, but all she could do was hope.
(I hope you enjoy! I apologize for any OOCness for Jace! Please let me know what you think!)

Kiss of the Snake! Chapter 2
Tumblr media
(TW: Slight cussing. And I did my best with my limited knowledge of parkour.)
Alexander couldn’t help but suddenly remember why he hated school. As he walked toward the school he could feel the stares of the students on him and he could hear them talking about him.
*Holy shit. Is that a new student?*
*I didn’t know there were people that tall and hot.*
*I saw him exit a fancy car.*
Alexander did his best to remain calm, as he walked toward the front of the school, but it was stuff that was spoken that often reminded him of why he preferred to be alone. Slowly, he made his way to the teacher’s office, upon his arrival, Alexander was once again gawked at as he was assigned to the Fashion Department room. In all honesty, Alexander just wanted to go sit down, and hopefully, he could meet the other Daniel that the other Daniel told him about. Alexander pressed his lips together as he followed his teacher toward his new homeroom, he could hear a commotion coming from inside the room.
Alexander turned to the source of the sound, and was amused to see that there was a black haired student standing above another black haired student that appeared to be holding his stomach while on the ground. Alexander returned his attention to his teacher, who stormed inside and began to yell at the students to get back in their seats. It was then that the teacher called for him, and so he entered the class being mindful of the doorway. As he went to stand next to the teacher, facing the class.
“Everyone. Now that you are calmed down and back in your seats. This is Alexander Boudreaux. He is new to our school and our country so please show him kindness,” The teacher spoke while his eyes glanced over the room and pointed to an empty spot next to a blonde student,” Go ahead and take a seat next to Jay.”
Alexander nodded his head before walking over to where the blonde was sitting, he removed his backpack and sat down. As the teacher began class, Alexander quickly pulled out a notebook and a pencil from his backpack before sitting it down the hook on the side of the desk. As Alexander opened his notebook to begin taking notes when he felt the sensation of eyes upon him. He looked up to see a set of pair of blueish green eyes looking at him, when their eyes met Alexander raised an eyebrow at him. However, soon the teacher called for class to begin, causing the teen to look forward and Alexander followed suit.
Alexander didn’t pay attention as time went on, eventually, it became time for lunch. He waited for most of the students to file out before the student from earlier walked over to him.
“Hello. You're Alexander right? My friend told me about you though he didn’t tell me you are so tall. Ah! Sorry that was rude of me!” He said before instantly becoming worried, Alexander couldn’t help the chuckle that slipped from his lips as he replied with a grin,
“It’s alright. I assume your name is Daniel. Is it alright if I call you Dan? Just so that way I don’t get you mixed up with the other Daniel?”
He watched as Daniel’s eyes widened slightly, shining with joy as he replied,” Sure!”
Alexander chuckled as he got to his feet, though he didn’t tower over Daniel extremely much, it was obvious how much taller he was. He looked down slightly as he asked,” Is it okay if I sit with you for lunch Dan?”
“Sure! I would like that actually. It would be nice to sit with someone for lunch,” Daniel replied brightly as he waited for Alexander and the two began to walk toward the cafeteria. As the two entered, Alexander followed Daniel as the two sat down to eat, he instantly tensed up as he felt a hand upon his back. Taking all his will power he tried not to aggressively attack the person's hand, fearing a repeat of what had happened the last time someone unknown touched his back. However, just as quick as it touched him, it was gone, Alexander glanced over at Daniel who had spoken in a sheepish tone,
“Hey Zoe. Is there something wrong?”
Alexander turned to see a girl with short black hair that curled inward slightly, her brown eyes glittering with utter adoration as she replied to Daniel,” No! Nothing is wrong, I just wanted to say hi.”
“Hello Zoe. This is Alexander. Alexander, this is Zoe from our classroom,” Daniel said, introducing him to the female.
Alexander plastered on a soft smile as he spoke to her,” Hello Zoe. It’s nice to meet you.”
He watched as the girl brightened, as she took a seat next to Daniel, which Alexander was thankful for, and began to chat with him. Alexander quietly ate his lunch as the other two talked, however, it was soon broken when Daniel spoke to him,
“Are you doing anything after school, Alexander?”
Alexander blinked in surprise before looking over at Daniel and replied back,” Ah. Nothing really other than doing some parkouring.”
“Parkouring? What is that?” Daniel asked with a hint of confusion.
Alexander blinked slowly as he replied,” You don’t know what parkour is-” Daniel allowed a sheepish smile to emerge on his face as Alexander continued to speak,” I’ll show what that is after school! Ah- If that's what you want to do.”
Daniel’s face instantly lit up as he replied,” Yeah! That sounds good to me!”
Alexander beamed a smile at him, happy that he now had a friend he could teach parkour too. However, out of the corner of Alexander’s eyes, he could see that Zoe was pouting behind Daniel’s back. Alexander mentally rolled his eyes at her before both himself and Daniel returned to eating. Once lunch was over the three of them returned to class, sitting at their assigned desks once they entered their classroom again. The moment school ended, Alexander waited for most of the class to leave before looking over at Daniel with a grin as he asked,
“Ready to go?”
Daniel looked at him with a grin of his own as he replied,” Yeah!”
Alexander waited for Daniel to gather his stuff up before he began to lead him out the school and the two began walking down the street. Alexander scanned for a building that had a fire escape ladder. Once he spotted one, he signaled for Daniel to follow him up the ladder, he could see Daniel was hesitant at first, but followed him. Once they reached the roof of the building, Alexander scanned around until he found a perfect obstacle course for himself. Turning to Daniel he spoke with glee,” Alright. You can wait here Dan since this will be the ending point. Basically, parkour is getting from point A to point B quickly.” Daniel nodded his head in understanding as Alexander continued his explanation,” So you’ll stay here since this is point B. I’ll run over to point A and get started.”
As soon as Daniel nodded his head, Alexander took off his backpack, setting it down near the wall before quickly running over to the building that was his point A. Upon arriving he noticed that there were no fire exit ladders or stairs, but that didn’t deter him. Noticing a pole that was close to the building he quickly ran over and began to climb up it until he reached the rooftop. As he stood on the top, he grinned before jumping a little bit before he took a few steps backwards and then ran toward the edge. As soon as he felt the edge of the building underneath his feet, he jumped, landing upon the next building with a roll.
Alexander quickly got to his feet, continuing to run toward the next building only to change course instead of just jumping knowing that he wouldn’t make it. He ran toward where there was a metal bar, he quickly jumped toward it, his feet landed in the middle before using his momentum to do a sideways jump landing upon his feet before running toward the building where Daniel was at. As he ran toward the building he noticed a bar that was more than likely used at one point. As Alexander got closer he jumped up grabbing the bar and used his arms along with his momentum.
Alexander threw himself into the air, performing a side spin, until he landed upon his feet and stood up with a grin. Sweat dripped down his brown skin as he placed his hands upon his hips and asked,
“What did you think?”
Daniel’s eyes were glittering with excitement as he replied,” That's amazing! Do you think I can learn it too?”
Alexander’s grin grew as he replied,” Hell yeah you can. Are you prepared for the work though?”
Daniel pumped his fist into the air as he replied," Yes I am!”
Alexander couldn’t help, but feel more than happy that he would have someone to parkour with him. Even if it was teaching him the basics and so their friendship began with Alexander teaching Daniel how to parkour.
(Hope you enjoy it! I'm sorry if Daniel seems OOC. I still hope you enjoy regardless!)

Kiss of the Snake! Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Alexander Boudreaux, had been through hell and back. On the run from his past, as the Black Mamba, he heads to South Korea where he stays in the same apartment complex as his three half brothers. Life is going to be a lot different and possibly more interesting.
(Trigger Warning: Cussing. I own nothing, but my OC's. Respective characters belong to their creators.)
The wind felt cool in the evening. Running along the rooftops gave the uttermost freedom as if he was a bird. His black tennis shoes slammed against the cemented roofs as he ran toward the edge of the building he was on. As he got the edge, he jumped fearlessly, his heart pumping wildly as he landed on his feet, pushing himself into a roll to disperse the force of the impact. He could feel his long black hair begin to stick to his sweat covered forehead, reaching up he pushed back his black hood and wiped the sweat away. Dark brown eyes looked up scanning the star littered sky, eventually landing upon the large moon in the distance.
The silence was disturbed by the sound of a chiming coming from his back pocket. Reaching behind, he pulled out his phone and read the name upon it,
Lady Hacker
Letting out a soft huff, he quickly answered it, placing his phone near his ears,” Yes, my dear Lady Hacker?”
“I hate you for that nickname, Alexander Boudreaux. Shouldn’t you be home resting after all, don't you start your new school tomorrow.” She replied with a huff.
Alexander quietly snickered quietly as he replied, a grins splitting his face, “Aw. Come on Tsu, it's not a bad nickname.”
“Don’t even go there, you asshole. Anyway, how's Korea treating you? I know it’s different from the US,”  Tsu asked with a slight hum as he heard her typing away.
“That’s an understatement, it is majorly different. How’s life in Tokyo? Still the same or did you finally find a man that can get past your background checks?” Alexander replied with a teasing tone.
He could hear the Japanese woman scoff into the phone as she replied, “You are an ass, Alexander. And to answer your question I don’t need no man!”
Alexander let out a bark of laughter before he turned to the right, instantly on alert when he heard the sound of a knob being turned, “I gotta go. Trouble brewing.”
He quickly hung up the phone before turning to the left, Alexander began to pick up speed as reached the edge of the building and jumped, quickly grabbing the edge of the building. Alexander slowly began to climb down, making sure that he had a good grip on the edges as he descended downwards. As soon as his feet hit the ground, Alexander took off his hood as he quickly made his way down the street until he came upon what appeared to be a twenty four hour store. Humming to himself, Alexander walked over to the door, entering it happily, however, that soon faded when he heard the sound of sniffling. A frown pulled at his lips as he turned to the source of the sniffling, a light of anger ignited inside of him as he noticed that the chubby clerk was seemingly getting up off the ground.
“Holy shit, man! What the hell happened to you!?” Alexander exclaimed as he quickly rushed over to the black haired male.
Alexander jumped the counter, reaching out to him and began to gently help him get his clothes together.
“T-Thank you,” He muttered meekly as he finished buttoning up his pants.
“No problem. Let me find something cold to help with that swelling and you can tell me who the fuck did this to you.” Alexander replied as he rushed around the store and found something cold before returning to the black haired male. As he placed the cold item on his face he continued to say,” I’m going to find them and beat the shit out of them.”
“Y-You don’t have to do that. I’m kind of used to it,” He said softly, as he winced slightly as the cold touched his swollen face.
“Used to it? The hell! You shouldn’t get used to it!” Alexander exclaimed, his voice filled with worry and anger. His anger seemed to surprise the clerk, which caused him to become concerned, and so he continued, “Sorry my anger tends to come out when I hear about bullies.”
“N-No that’s not it. I am…” The clerk started to say, but trailed off looking down at the ground sadly. Alexander frowned before he spoke up,” Alexander Boudreaux.”
This caused the clerk to snap his head back up at him with a look of confusion causing him to grin a bit,” That is my name. What’s yours?”
“D-Daniel Park,” He responded back, causing Alexander to grin happily,” Nice to meet you! Wanna be my friend?”
“S-Sure!” Daniel replied as Alexander grinned brightly as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone and handed it to him. “Here place your number in here and we can talk to each other. I gotta be at Jae Won High School tomorrow for class-”
“Oh! I-I have a friend that goes there his name is also Daniel. He can help show you around!” Daniel exclaimed happily despite the fact that his face was still swollen as he typed in his number on his phone.
Alexander grinned happily, as Daniel handed him back his phone, as he replied,” Sweet! Hopefully I am in the same class as him,” He then glanced at the time on his phone and flinched slightly before looking back at Daniel,” I have to go. Will you be alright by yourself?”
Daniel smiled at him as he replied,” Yep! I’ll be okay! Thank you, Alexander, for the help!”
Alexander grinned as he bid his new friend a good night, he began to make his way home. Eventually, arriving at a fancy apartment complex, he stared up at it with a huff as he entered the building. Despite the fancy decor, Alexander wasn’t fond of it, but put up with it since his three half - brothers lived within the same building along with their respective partners. He walked down the small hallway that was past the front desk, stopping in front of the elevator door and pressed the up button. He watched as it lit up, and the numbers above the elevator began to change from floor eight to floor one.
As soon as he heard the ding of the elevator, the doors opened allowing him to enter, as he turned around and pressed the number eight on the panel. Alexander leaned back against the back of the elevator as he felt it begin to lift him to the top floor, as he arrived, he stepped out as the doors opened walking down the hallway. Alexander eventually came to stop at apartment eight fifteen, as he reached into his pocket to pull out his key, the door suddenly swung open revealing his seven foot five older brother. Before Alexander could say anything he was instantly swept up into a large bear hug.
“Welcome home, darling brother,” He exclaimed happily with a bright grin.
Alexander let out a playful groan as he shuffled his arms free and began to push on his brother’s face and said,” Let me go you giant gorilla! You are killing me!”
“Who are you calling a giant gorilla!?” He exclaimed in a mock hurt as he put him down onto the ground.
“Cain! Will you let Alexander come inside and see his new apartment!” a familiar male voice huffed out.
Alexander grinned as he called out,” Kyungjoon! Your husband is bullying me!”
He watched as Cain’s mouth dropped open, as his golden eyes narrowed in playful anger, as he quickly rebutted the claim by exclaiming,” Lies! Blasphemy!”
“Knowing you, Cain, I wouldn’t be at all surprised,” A smooth male voice chimed in, as a pale hand was placed upon Cain’s large bicep and pushed to the side.
Alexander smiled a bit as his eyes were met with the dark eyes as he replied,” Geum-Hoo, it’s nice to see you again. How was your honeymoon with Beom?” Alexander walked over to the man and pulled him into a hug, leaning down since he was much shorter compared to his six foot eleven frame. As they pulled away from each other he let out a bark of laughter as he could see his brother Boem standing behind Geum-Hoo, pulling him into his bulky frame.
Geum-Hoo let out a soft sigh as he replied back to Alexander’s question,” It was wonderful, Alexander. Beom, aren’t you going to give your brother a hug?”
Alexander watched the brunette seemingly think about it before he just let out a huff and walked over to the two and pulled them into a bear hug, making sure not to squeeze Geum-Hoo despite knowing that he could handle his strength. Just as Alexander released them he could hear the sounds of footsteps and turned to face the sounds when he noticed three other faces.
“Glad you are finally here, Alexander,” Kyoungjoon cooed out as he ran over and hugged him.
“Yes it’s good to see you. I hope you aren’t stirring up too much trouble on your second day here in Korea,” The silvered haired male spoke with a small teasing grin.
Alexander stuck out his tongue at them before he replied back,” The one getting into trouble would be you Seth. Theo, how have you been? Heard you took over your mom’s position as CEO of Peserus Inc.”
He watched the violet eyed male smile slightly as Alexander gave him a short hug, as he released Theo, he watched as he fixed his dark brown hair into it’s normal style. “I am glad to see that you are well informed. It is nice that you are here, brother.”
“Alright! Shall we go eat? Everyone is here now,” Kyoungjoon said, however, his blue eyes instantly snapped over to where Cain was standing before he continued speaking,” Cain! Close the door!”
Alexander snickered, before he said,” I got it. Ya’ll go ahead and go sit down.”
Alexander watched as his brother’s rolled their eyes before gently leading their partners into the large dining room of his home. As he closed the door he couldn’t help, but think, that his time here would be a good one. After all, he made a friend, and he hoped to make more within the year and he could leave his past behind.
(Hope you enjoy it!)

A Mummy Rises
Tumblr media
Rating: Mature
Warnings: Violence, cussing
A/N: Hello all! Here is a Bucky fic that was inspired by the Mummy (1999). So I believe this would be a slight crossover fic. I hope you all enjoy!
Summary: James had escaped. Going through many obstacles to ensure he was never discovered. He took any odd jobs he could find to make it through the day. Until he got a deal that would set him up well. All he had to do was guard an ancient Egyptian city no questions asked. It went downhill and he was forced to go on the run again. Until he is asked to return to the city he escaped from. Despite all his instincts telling him not to go back, he was not about to watch a woman go running off into the unknown with only her brother for company. Life was about to take an interesting turn for him.
Chapter 1: The Cursed Sands
Beneath the burning sand a small caravan of trucks arrived at the city of Humnaptra. As soon as the vehicles came to a stop. Several men exited from the vehicles, one such man was a muscular six foot male. His blue eyes scanned the surrounding desert as well as the old ruins of what appeared to be an Egyptian temple. He was thankful that the heat didn’t bother him as much as it would a normal person.
“James! Help set up defensive positions around the outskirts of this place!” The commander of the Mercenaries called out.
James didn’t say anything back, simply nodding his head, before turning to the other men that were exiting the other jeeps. As he began to bark out orders for the other men, it was then he noticed the familiar skinny male slowly try to seemingly hide behind others.
“Beni! Stop hiding behind Mark and get your ass to the wall,” James barked out causing the thin sweaty man to let out a squeak as he replied back with a stutter,
“Y-Yes sir!”
James watched the man begin to scuttle to a nearby wall and began to set up his rifle in case they got attacked by any enemies. Once the men were in place James lifted his arms up and pulled his dark brown hair back into a loose ponytail at the base of his neck. James checked his tan colored bullet proof vest and as he did so he noticed a glint coming from his left arm, quickly he reached up, pulling down the long sleeve of his dark red shirt. He glanced around making sure that no one saw his arm before making his way over to the commander.
“I must say I am surprised Hamunaptra is still in relatively good condition,” He said looked around, however, James quickly spoke out softly,” The men are in position.”
The commander turned to glance at him, nodding his head as he replied,” Good. Go join them, our other entourage should be joining us within the hour.”
James said nothing, simply nodded his head as he turned and made his way over to the other men, taking his position along the decaying wall of old clay bricks. Within the next few hours more vehicles and men arrived. It was then that he noticed that everything seemed to be falling into place, however, he had a gut feeling that something was coming. Just then an alarm was sounded signaling that enemies were approaching, quickly, James went to the section of wall that he was assigned to. As all the soldiers quickly got to the wall, James could see hundreds of men upon horses with guns and swords.
“Men ready yourselves! These bastards are here to take us out and to steal our treasure!” The commander yelled from behind them.
“You better not run again Beni,” James muttered with a hint of irritation as the skinny man that was next to him.
“I won't. Your strength gives me strength,” Beni replied weakly.
The men waited for the signal to fire as the men on horses continued to rush toward them as soon as the command to fire was signaled, James quickly pulled the trigger and fired at the closest men that were to him. Out of the corner of his eye he could see Beni panic, throwing down his weapon as he quickly made a mad dash to the buildings that were behind him.
“Asshole,” James snarled as he finished the last few bullets in his magazine before quickly reloading his M four carbine.
Unfortunately, for James the men on horses had broken through their lines and the true fighting began. James quickly retreated back, at the same time he fired at any men that got too close to him. When his M four ran out of ammunition he quickly pulled out his M Seventeen handgun that was holstered on his right thigh and fired at the man that was approaching him on his left. Once the man fell off his horse James turned, running toward the nearest entry way, just as his sight was set onto the nearest dorm he could see Beni inside and as he got closer Beni closed the door in his face.
James punched the door with his left arm causing the door to fracture from where his fist met the stone door. James let out a soft growl before quickly ducking out of the way from oncoming bullets. James quickly ran left as he ran, he could hear the sound of hooves approaching him. He turned slightly to the left, firing his gun over his shoulder, killing two more men. Eventually, he reached a dead end where there was only an Anubis statue, just as James turned around he was met with several guns pointed at him. He clenched his gun tightly in his hand as he stared at the men dead in the eyes.
James then raised his gun quickly, just as he was about to let loose to fire at the men, their horses got spooked, throwing one of the men off its back while the others turned and ran away. As James stood there, gun still raised, unsure of what had transpired, slowly he lowered his weapon when he heard a strange sound from what he thought was coming from behind him. As he slowly turned he didn't see anything, only the statue, soon the voices slowly grew louder and he could barely make out the words of what was being spoken.
You will die. You will die.
James instantly went to raise his gun again when he was suddenly hit by a wave of sand. As he moved out of the way of one wave, he was struck again by another and then another. James managed to get away just to see a face with a gaping mouth become present in the sand. A feeling of evil slithered up his spine as put away his gun, turning to make his way out of the city of Hamunaptra. James did his best not to look at the bodies of the many men that were slaughtered upon the ground as he ran out the city. James knew he would have more nightmares within his sleep, if he got to sleep again, by the blood shed this day. James ran a good mile away from the city, but stopped when the feeling of being watched engulfed his being took over him.
James slowly turned around, upon a large cliff he could see the outlines of several men on horses. Not wanting to fight anymore that day, James turned back around and continued to run into the slowly setting sun. James continued to run, not knowing where he was going, only that he had to find a place to rest and keep his head low. James eventually had to slow down to conserve his much needed energy, he watched as the last lights of the sun slowly ebbed away and he mentally prayed he would never have to return to the cursed city. Unfortunately for him, that was not going to be after all fate has a way to force one to face their fears and their fate.

A Dancer's Promise: Chapter 1
Tumblr media
A boy met a girl by a large tree. A dance was preformed and a promise made. A promise was broken and they were separated by time and space. Until a fateful meeting that started with a blue eyed and blued haired young girl that kick started the time of the past once more.
A long time ago a little girl met a little boy near a special tree. At this tree, they became friends, the tree soon became their tree and from there on the two met. Each day they returned to the tree and the little girl would dance, showing him new routines she would combine with magic. She would tell him everything that came to her mind in return he told her about his life, how the people of his home struggled everyday to live and how there was only poison and corruption. The little girl would weep in his arms for him and he would hold her close, however, all good things come to an end.
Upon her sixteenth birthday she was given two special pocket watches that were passed down in her family for generations by her grandmother. She was told that they would be given to her “one” , the one that was destined to be with her for all time. The front of the pocket watch was encrusted with special runes from her family with the center being the symbol of a black and red dragon on one while the other had a white and blue dragon on it. After she received them she quickly left her home and toward the tree. When she arrived she could see the young man she had come to love. Just as she approached she could hear her name being called.
“Aella!”
“Aella!”
She slowly opened her eyes, her body felt heavy and it was hard for her to breath. She could feel strong hands pulling her close to a lean yet strong body. She used what little strength she had to look up at the person holding her. Aella could feel the faintest amount of joy as her dimming eyes locked up with familiar red and black left and an ocean green right bi colored eyes. She had so much she wanted to say to him, but she could feel herself grow weaker with each passing minute. Her eyes grew heavier as if noticing her tiredness she could make out what he was saying to her.
“I’m sorry, my lovely dancer," he said, sounding concerned. "I should not have said what I said, but you must keep awake.”
Aella never heard him apologize much throughout the time she knew him. She gave him a weak smile before lifting her hand to try to cradle his face. Just as her fingers caressed his scarred cheek, weakness claimed her once more, but before her hand could fall his hand quickly caught hers, holding it close.
“There is nothing to forgive.” She began before taking in a painful breath, feeling the Mithril Curse begin to squeeze tighter around her, but it did not deter her, “ You were right-”
"No I was not," He quickly cut her off. "I was not right in the least, Aella. I will spend the rest of my life making up for my folly. Just like we promised.”
His hand that was on her hand quickly released her hand before reaching into his pocket and pulling out the familiar black pocket watch with the red engraving of the old runes of her family along the crest of the dragon. Aella could not stop the tears that fell as she stared at until the pain of curse made itself known once more causing her to let out a small whimper of pain.
“Leave me, my Silco. Our daughter needs you,” Aella whimpered out as she felt her body become alite with heat and pain. She managed to focus her vision onto her bare arms and saw that her whole body was nearly engulfed in the black vein like curse. A curse she willingly accepted as she despaired over knowing that no one would come for her until now.
“I made a promise to our daughter. That we would be leaving this damn fortress together. I will not break that promise as I have done with our promise. A promise I plan on renewing with you at our tree,” Silco replied as picked her up into his arms.
“Our tree,” Aella gasped out,” It still stands?”
“Yes it does, my lovely dancer. Jinx wants us to show her our tree,” Silco grumbled as he held her close as he slowly made his way out of the room she was being kept in.
“Silco… I love you, you know that,” Aella gasped out feeling her eyelids becoming heavier and her body becoming cold.
“Yes I do. Now you stay awake, my Aella. I’ll get us out of here and we’ll find you a cure,” Silco stated in a slightly panicked tone.
Aella could barely make out his words as he quickly brought them into another room, her body was close to his, but she got no warmth as the world seemed to darken.
“I’m so sorry… For breaking our promise and… Our bond,” Aella managed to get out, as the last thing she could see was Silco’s panicked face, his once slicked back black hair was out of place. All she could was allow the curse to take her as her soul pleaded for forgiveness for her weakness and the hurt she brought upon her loved ones. All became quiet within the room as Silco held the body of his now deceased lover, pleading for her to return when he suddenly looked up and they were engulfed in a white blinding light. Right next to him his pocket watch suddenly popped open, time slowly began to go backwards; faster and faster until it suddenly stopped.
Time began to flow, and the past became present allowing for the tragic story to unfold.
(I would like to thank @ink-and-dagger, @sweatandwoe and @a-gal-with-taste for being the inspiration for this fic and my other one. I hope you all enjoy!)
