Running. You were running for your life . You just saw your best-friend kill your boyfriend. And ofcource he had to hear you gasp. He turned back and looked at you with a sick smile which made you sprint , so now here you are .
You didn't look back . You didn't because you knew that if you did that would make you slower , because you knew that he can run fast and maybe is catching up to you. Oh how right you were .
You turned to an alleyway and knocked in the first house you could find. The door opened revealing an old lady looking like she were in her mid 60s. She smiled at you and asked 'how can I help you' but that smile quickly turned into a concerned frown when you told her that you were in danger and needed help. She being the kind and helpful lady , helped you. You were so glad of her. Then after a few minutes came a knock on the door. You knew who it was. You were shaking but the lady told you to calm down as she's gonna handle the situation. She called her son and he came out from his room . He was startled to see you there but did as his mother told him. He went to the door and told your so called best-friend that no one's in the house except for him and his mom , and even denied to see any girl around .
The guy came inside and told you and his mom how impatient the guy on the other side sounded. I mean duh you got out of his catch , he had to find you . But what you didn't know was that sunoo saw it.
He saw you running to knock on the door and rushing inside the house with the lady. He was gonna act like he lost you. Just for the sake of entertainment. Then he's gonna catch you and tell you all this , the main point being you can't run away from him. He gonna find you everytime. Gotta make sure he doesn't lose his belonging next time , this time he wasn't so carefull with killing your boyfriend but he was fine with it. Atleast he's closer to getting you all to himself now. Just one task is left - taming you and he for sure knows how to do that. “Just you wait sunshine, I'm coming for you” he texted you, smirking , looking at your scared face from the window.

Jeon Wonwoo is a very intriguing person.
He always has a way to make heads turn around, enticing people with his naturally attractive looks and smart wits, but only a few selected have actually grasped what he's all about.
You, as his best friend, are one of them.
It's really funny, actually. How cliché everything is - having a crush on the off limits hot best friend for the longest time and cheeks heating up every time you're meeting up with him, whether it's at your favorite cat café or that ramen restaurant that you've been going to since college.
Except it has started to get unbearable as of lately and it's about to drive you crazy, especially now that he's staying at your place, because the floor of his own apartment is currently being repaired - a broken pipe in the kitchen can be a pain in the ass.
And that's how your best friend ended up staying over.
"Hey Y/N?", "Yeah?", "Do you have any spare towels?", "They are in the cupboard, under the counter", you answer, "Why do you ask?".
"Uh, I wanna take a shower and I forgot to get some from my house", he rubs his neck, "I hope it's okay?", "Yeah, of course it is, you dumbass!", you laugh it off, "Go ahead, Won".
You go back into finding something good to order for the night when you suddenly realize what is about to happen.
Wonwoo is taking a shower in your bathroom. And will come out in just a towel - your towel.
"Oh God, calm down, calm the fuck down, he's just taking a shower", you're muttering to yourself, rubbing your hands on your thighs to calm down.
"Fuck I am not okay", you huff and open the fridge, taking out a bottle of ice cold water, downing it in one go.
Not knowing what to do, you go into your bedroom and plop on the bed like a starfish, contemplating about your life choices and feelings.
Feelings. Like the romantic ones you have for Wonwoo. The ones you could never admit to him because you're shy and scred you'll ruin your friendship with him.
"God I have fucked up so bad, I want him so bad", you whine and cover your face in your hands, kicking your feet in annoyance.
"Who do you want so bad?".
You almost shriek out loud and jump on the bed when you hear Wonwoo's voice from the door and your eyes are about to jump out of your head as soon as your gaze falls on his body.
His naked body, covered by your towel hanging low on his hips. Keyword: your.
"Are you going to answer my question, sweetheart?", he asks you again, a cheeky smile resting on his face. "Hmm, no, I don't think I will", you get up and make a beeline for the living room, but Wonwoo blocks the doorstep with his arm.
"Wonwoo, can you please move so I can go to the living room?", you ask him with a nervous tone, trying to keep your composure. "Hmm, no, I don't think I will", his voice drops an octave and he effortlessly pins you on the wall, caging you between his arms, his perfectly sculpted torso right in front of your face.
"Wonwoo, what are you doing?", "Me or you?", "Can you just let me go- fuck you smell so good", you mutter as your nose inches closer to his skin, a sweet, sexy scent invading your senses, making your knees turn to jello.
"Bitter Peach", "H-Huh?", "That's the name of the perfume I use, sweetheart", "You...wear perfume right after showering?", "Only on special occasions", he chuckles, his face inching closer to yours.
"Am I a special occasion then?", you ask him, voice barely a whisper, breathing growing uneven with each passing second.
"You've always been the special one to me, Y/N", Wonwoo whispers back, his feline like eyes searching for any sign of hesitation, any negative emotion, hoping there's no trace of them.
His heart skips a beat when you unexpectedly smash your lips on his, a low moan bubbling in his chest, the same chest your hands are palming, either because you needed a supporting surface or you wanted to roam your hands on his still damp body. Probably the second.
He instinctively holds the side of your neck, something he has been dying to do for so fucking long. He can feel your hands clutching on him, your nails subtly scratching his skin and it makes his chest swell with pride.
"So eager to keep me all to yourself, aren't you?", "As if that wasn't your goal all along - I bet the flooding in your apartment was a lie", you pull back to catch your breath, head resting on the wall. "No, that wasn't a lie. But it was a wonderful chance for our very cliché scenario to unfold, don't you think?", he raises his eyebrow in a cheeky manner and you can't help but roll your eyes.
"If you want to see the scenario unfold as you said, I think it's time you dropped that towel", you tug at the soft fabric teasingly. Wonwoo scoffs and picks you up in his arms, walking a few steps backwarsa until he reaches the bed and puts you down on your back, supporting himself on his arms.
"Don't worry, baby, I will drop the towel... After I'm done taking off your clothes".

you had lost your friends the moment you entered the house. mingyu had left you and wonwoo in favor of dancing with his girlfriend and wonwoo had left to find “something to drink”. wonwoo didn’t come back so you assumed he had found someone for the night.
but now that you haven’t seen neither one of them, you have decided to just send them a quick text letting them now you are leaving the party in case they remembered you.
you walked out of the house and shivered at the bitter cold of the night. it was already half past midnight and you didn’t have a ride as both of your friends were off who knows where. you decided to get an uber as you didn’t want to risk getting lost on your way back home as your apartment was half an hour away.
as you waited, you decided to keep warm by doing a few jumping jacks and blowing hot air into your cold fingers. just as you were about to check your phone to see if your request had been accepted, a black car came into view.
the driver slowed down near you and rolled down the window.
“are you here for an uber?”
even thought the outside lights of the house were dim, you noticed the man was dashingly handsome and didn’t seem to be creepy.
you smiled and replied, “yes, isn’t it too late for you to be driving?”
the man chuckled, “trust me, i make more money driving in the middle of the night than i do during the day. are you going to get in or do i have to tie you up and make you get inside?”
your facial expression must’ve been comical because the man laughed loudly at your scared face.
“i’m kidding, if i wanted to kidnap you i would have already. c’mon, it’s too cold outside and the heat inside the car is escaping.”
you silently got in the car and didn’t say anything else, ignoring the uneasy feeling in your gut.
“so, y/n, that’s your name right?” the man looked at you from the rearview mirror. “my name is junhui. where would you like me to drop you off?”
“would it be okay if you drop me off a block away from the address i gave you?” you wanted to get off as soon as possible. junhui’s charming smile had morphed into something more dark, almost sinister.
“sure.”
and with that curt reply, junhui looked away from you and began driving.
the atmosphere turned cold, almost as cold as the outside despite the heater being on. you didn’t know what to say in order to break the ice cold atmosphere so instead, you decided to check your phone.
you saw a notification letting you know that your request was accepted a few minutes ago. what caught your eye however was the message you received once you opened the app.
hey it’s your uber driver, i’m outside.
you gasped and you looked up from your phone to notice that junhui’s mouth seemed to get larger and larger.
his mouth opened to reveal rows upon rows of razor sharp teeth and you frantically opened the door, barely managing to jump out of the vehicle as one of junhui’s, or should you say creature, hands reached to grab you.
you fell with a heavy thump against the concrete and you felt the air leave your lungs, leaving you gasping for air as you curled into yourself from the pain.
you heard the screeching of tires and rapid footsteps. before you knew it, you were looking into the yellow eyes of a tall, disfigured creature. its long limbs reached for you and its head leaned down towards you.
the last thing you felt was the feeling of its teeth sinking into your neck.
last night, one college student was reported missing and the remains of a body were found. the remains have yet to be identified but it is believed to be that of wen junhui, the reported missing student. he was last seen leaving his apartment around midnight.

you cheered as the cars sped past you. you noticed a familiar black 2019 dodge challenger and jumped excitedly.
“the8! the8! the8!” you chanted along with the crowd. you moved to raise your arms above your head but instead you ended up smacking someone in the face. you turned to your side and noticed your husband grimace as he held his nose.
“oh my gosh! joshua! are you okay?!” you asked him, worried you had damaged his nose enough to cause bleeding. “here, hold on.”
you stepped forward and removed his hand from his face. you leaned forward and tried to inspect his injury but joshua turned his head, making you frown.
“joshua, honey, let me see. i need to make sure you’re okay.”
joshua turned his face towards you and tried to smile but it came out as grimace. “it’s fine, my nose is just a little sore. see? i’m not even bleeding.”
you scoffed and rolled your eyes but smiled nonetheless. “well maybe if you weren’t so worried about making money from your bets then you would have been watching to make sure you weren’t hit.”
it was joshua’s turn to roll his eyes.
“it’s called doing business. besides, you were too busy cheering for your favorite racer than paying attention to your husband,” he sulked and you playfully punched him in the arm.
“you big baby, we’re watching a race. i’m obviously going to be cheering for my favorite racer.”
joshua rolled his eyes again but smiled at you nonetheless. the two of you just looked at each other for a moment, lost in your own world as the people around you continued to be rowdy, their loud cheering fading into the background.
“-the winner is the8! congratulations!” the announcement of the8’s win brought you back to reality, joshua’s eyes widened and he looked down at his phone, a wide grin forming in his face.
you knew today was another successful night for him.
despite joshua now paying attention to his phone, you smiled fondly. never in a million years would you have thought you would be here, standing next to joshua cheering for your favorite racers.
when you first met, he was quite secretive, never letting anyone become close enough to him to know about his hobbies or anything personal to him. but here you were, the lucky one that he chose to share his life with. including his secret racing career.
“thank you joshua.”
joshua looked up from his phone and glanced at you, a look of confusion crossed his face. “what for?”
“for letting me the one for you.”
joshua’s confusion turned into a look of fondness and he softly chuckled, his eyes closing to form an eye smile.
no words needed to be spoken, his gentle smile and look of adoration told you everything.
“wait!” you shouted suddenly, “i need to get the8’s autograph, i’ll be right back!”
joshua, who was stunned from your sudden outburst, stood silently for a few seconds before cackling loudly.
“i can’t believe you ruined the mood just to get the8’s autograph!” he exclaimed.
“no more time can be wasted, the8 is more important right now.”
and with that you began to run towards the8’s parked car.
“get me a signature too! i need to boast my winnings tonight!” joshua shouted after you.
“only if you buy me a new dodge challenger too!” you shouted back at him.
“y/n!” you giggled at the exasperation in his voice.

"love?" a deep, husky voice groggily whispered into your ear. you tried to roll over unto your back but a muscular arm wrapped around your waist held you tightly back against a hard chest.
"hmm? it's too early chan, go back to sleep."
you felt chan mutter against your hair and you smiled.
it was the morning after your second anniversary and you could feel you lower region ache from the strenuous activities the two of you participated in last night. you had been a little to excited and chan being the whipped man that he was, complied with your every whim.
in all honesty, ever since your divorce from your ex-husband, you were hesitant to start dating again, especially when chan was too eager to "court" you, as he liked to call it.
however, you were more than glad that chan was willing to wait for you to be ready. he never pressured you to rush things, even if that meant he had to start from square one.
"chan look out!" you exclaimed right as chan was about to be shot down by the enemy in call of duty. he screeched as he ducked behind you, causing you to die in place of him.
you felt your eye twitch.
"lee chan! if you don't stop being a coward and hiding behind me every time you are about to be killed, i'll tell wonwoo to replace you as my gaming buddy."
chan immediately clung unto you like a baby, looking at you with puppy eyes and pouting at you.
"but y/n!" he whined, "you promised to protect me from anything!"
"that does not include video games, you small otter!"
you gently slapped his arm and attempted to remove his grip on your waist but he only wrapped his arms tighter around you.
you looked at him, a feeling of fondness washing over you as you saw how this adult-baby clung unto you almost 24/7. you would have thought that from your first meeting, that chan would be against any type of physical affection but he proved you wrong when he would constantly shower you with hugs and cuddles whenever he could.
you smiled as you remembered the beginning of your friendship with chan. back when you were still reluctant to accept any type of physical contact, let alone a confession from him. and yet, you were beginning to fall for him even if he was oblivious to it.
"chan, i want to say first and foremost, thank you for being so patient with me when you could have just left me to deal with my heartbreak by myself and find a significant other that isn't as broken as i am—"
"y/n, i'm going to ask you to be quiet for a moment." chan grabbed your hands, forcing you to stop blabbering as his warm fingers wrapped around your cold ones.
"but..." you traced off when you saw the stern look chan sent you.
"you are the most wonderful person i have ever had the pleasure to meet. yeah, you're right. i could have left you to alone and find someone who wasn't so persistent on being slow with things but the truth is, the moment we met, i fell for you. i couldn't stand the sight of someone so vulnerable crying by themselves so i decided to invite you over to my apartment because i wanted to be the one to comfort you. i wanted to be the one to hold you close to my chest as you cried to let out your negative feelings. i wanted to be the one you chose to live your life with. so never speak so bad of yourself, you provided me with a ray of hope in this cruel world and i want you to know that if it weren't for you, i'd probably be homeless right now."
by the time chan stopped speaking, your eyes were already brimmed with tears. your heart swelled at the words chan spoke. you couldn't believe you have been given a second chance at love. and with a wonderful man at that.
"thank you so much chan."
you leaned forward and pressed your lips against his in a chaste kiss.
"sometimes i wonder why you chose to wait for me, but i'm glad you haven't given up on me. chan, would you be willing to accept me as i am? are you willing to start a new chapter of my life with me?"
chan smiled warmly at you and replied, "y/n, no matter how much you have gone through or how much you'll continue to change as you grow older, i'll be willing to be there every step of the way."
tears ran down your face but you didn't care as you leaned forward once again and pressed your lips against chan's, your salty tears falling in between the kiss.
"y/n? why are you crying?" chan's groggy voice brought you back to reality.
you wiped your tears, surprised you started to cry at the memory.
"remember when i asked you to become a part of my life? not as my friend but as my lover?" you sniffled.

chan let go of your waist and turned you around, the two of you finally looking at each other.
"because there's no need to dwell in what could have or could have not happened when i have finally found the happiness i have been looking for."
you couldn't help but to let a few stray tears fall, chan wiping each one away lovingly.

chan chuckled but nonetheless replied, "not today you haven't."
"meanie," you gently slapped his chest and started to turn around again when he pulled you forward and pressed your head against his chest.
