Did I just make an aggressively creative graphic to slap on a bunch of stuff because it's too perfect a phrase not to? Yes, yes I did. You know where to find them.

Finished another map consultation and I've got to admit, I LOVE geeking out with people about their projects! It's so wonderful to be able to inspire each other, to see their creativity, to hear about how much they want to build for their players or the community! I LOVE MY JOB!

Lesson 13 of my cartography course is one of my *favorite* things about map making: ANNOTATIONS! I talk about how I make notes while creating my maps, building cultures, "talking" to the locals, and lots of things that help pass the time while adding fun bits to the final map.
Btw, my cartography course is only $5 a month and you can complete it in a few weeks if you have the time. There are over 85 articles, videos, & prompts that cover drawing, worldbuilding, and inspiration!
I've teamed up with Unlimited Realms once again! This time it's for their Hearth & Home Kickstarter! I'm creating several interior maps for this project & I think you're going to love it! Please sign up for the launch and share this post!
hello! i'm a teen who really wants to DM but has no map drawing skills ( -^-') i really love your maps and was wondering if you'd ever think about taking commissions for making maps based on descriptions of places? it's alright if u don't but i was just wondering, thanks for ur time!
Aw, thank you! I’m swamped with work usually but occasionally take commissions from my patrons. However, I sell plenty of maps at $5 USD that you might use instead. Lots of people weave stories to my maps and if it doesn’t have a specific feature you want you can always tell your players it’s an outdated map or perhaps someone is trying to keep people away. 😁
Now, I need you all to understand that sometimes my brain takes a left turn at Albuquerque & my entire work flow is interrupted with whatever weird thing it's obsessing over. This time it was "what would *my* actual familiar be?" And well, it decided I'd need a really low maintenance pet. Something entertaining but not needy. Something I could interact with while also working.
So by brain came up with this. Meet Roxi, my digital pet rock. The puns will be abound as I continue to build out her home, toys, & wardrobe. Sorry, not sorry.
Welcome to the city of Arradyn. My latest map creation with both day and night versions. I had to force myself to stop adding details so it can be done. Where do you explore first?
Getting lost in the tranquil process of adding details to a desert oasis. This is why my maps take so long to do but absolutely what I love doing most.
