Hidden Fate. (Pt 2)

Welcome to the continuation of Hidden Fate! If you haven't already read the first part, please go ahead and read it! Here's the link to part one~ Part 1

Walking with Amber towards a tavern you've never seen before, you stare in awe. "How have I never seen this before..?" You mutter under your breath, just above a whisper. "Huh? What was that?" Amber stops walking and asks you. "Hm? Oh uh.. nothing important." Amber gives you a questioning face. "Okay?" Thankfully she starts walking again, you've really gotta stop speaking what's on your mind out loud.

"Come on! Let's go inside!"

Giving her a small nod, you follow behind her. Inside the tavern you see Kaeya and Rosaria drinking on the bar counter, meanwhile Traveller, Paimon, and Eula wave you both over. "Amber, (Name)! Over heeeeree!" Paimon says excitedly. Before walking towards them, you see Jean and Lisa talking to no one infront of them, it's almost as if there actually is a person they are talking to. This piqued your interest and you tell Amber that you'll join them in a second.

Making your way towards the duo, you greet them. "Good evening, Acting Grand Master Jean and Lisa. What are you guys talking about?" You curiously ask them. "Ah!Greetings, (Name). We were just talking about how the tavern has been doing." Jean replies with a smile. "Why you sit down and join us?" Lisa adds. You nod and smile. "Sir- uhm, I mean Master Diluc, will it be ok with you for (Name) to sit beside you?" Jean asks, while looking infront of her.

Meanwhile in Diluc's perspective, before he went to the tavern, Jean and Lisa spotted him and made a conversation with him. The three agreed on sitting down on a table and continued their conversation.

"May I ask how the Tavern has been doing?" Jean says politely. "Ah, the tavern has been doing quite well, although a certain bard has been consuming lots of our dandelion wine." To that, Lisa chuckles. "Ah! Greetings, (Name). We were just talking about how the tavern has been doing." Jean speaks to no one in particular. Diluc squints his eyes to where Jean and Lisa are looking at. "Why you sit down and join us?" Lisa speaks aswell. Diluc can't help but furrow his eyebrows. "Sir- uhm, I mean Master Diluc, will it be ok with you for (Name) to sit beside you?"

"What..?" (Name) and Diluc say in unison, well they don't know that because of the fact that they are both soulmates and are unable to see eachother nor hear eachother. "Oh, I'm sorry, is it not ok with the both of you?" Jean worries. "Who's Master Diluc..?" You ask. Diluc, still confused asked Jean. "What do you mean by that?"

Jean and Lisa exchange looks before Lisa looks as if she realized something. "I've read a book about rare and common soulmate prompts, there was one in particular that piqued my interest. It was a soulmate prompt where in the pair won't be able to see, hear, feel or know anything about their Soulmate. It's like they never existed in their point of views, the only way to be able to see their soulmate is to trigger a certain event or thing. So it could be very much possible that.." Jean widens her eyes, "(Name) and Master Diluc are.. Soulmates?" Jean says in disbelief.

The four of you went quiet.

"Soulmates..? I have.. a soulmate?" You ask still skeptical about this whole thing.

"What trigger? How will my uhm.. soulmate and i, trigger it?" Diluc asks Lisa, a bit embarrassed and at the same time surprised by the fact that he has a person destined to be with him.

Lisa tries to think of something, but fails to do so. "I have an idea." Jean declares. The three of them look at Jean, she gets a paper and pen from her pocket and lays it on top of the table. "The both of you will communicate with the use of this. I don't know if it'll work but we'll see." Jean pushes the paper and pen towards Diluc. "Write anything you want to say to your soulmate." She says.

Diluc grabs the pen, and for a split second, he hesitated. Diluc never really thought much about his Soulmate, he had always thought that'd he'd be better off without a soulmate, mainly because he doesn't want to fall in love and just eventually end up losing them. He starts writing on the paper, afterwards he pushes the paper toward Jean.

Meanwhile, you see the pen lift up and start writing on the paper. After the writing stops, the paper gets pushed towards Jean, and it was kind of creepy, judging by the fact that you can't see your soulmate, and to add salt to the wound, you also can't hear him. And if you're being honest a part of you still doesn't entirely believe it.

Jean saw what he wrote and held it up so you could see what it said.

"Are you really my soulmate?"

That's what the paper said, you blink. So it was true? I mean, you had doubts but you didn't think you'd forget about them after just reading this note. Upon seeing your reaction, Jean hands you the pen and paper. You gulp, seemingly nervous. You shyly grab the pen and start writing on the paper.

Diluc sees the pen float while it wrote on the paper. He didn't dare utter a word, he was unable to because of how shocked he was. You finish writing on the paper, Jean took the paper and held it up to Diluc.

"I guess so, I thought I was part of the minority of people who don't have soulmates. My name's (Name), though you probably already know that."

With that, Diluc took the pen and paper and quickly replied.

"I'm Diluc, the owner of Angel's Share and Dawn Winery. I wish to know more about you, (Name)."

You swore you felt your heart flutter, you thought that maybe having a soulmate wasn't too bad. Finding a new found happiness, you pick up the pen and reply aswell.

"I wish to know more about you aswell, Soulmate :)"

Just a bet.

You find out that after 5 months of your relationship with Childe, that you meant nothing but a mere bet to him.

Ding! —— You hear a notification from your phone, checking to see what it was about, you see Childe's profile pop up. You proceed to tap your boyfriend's profile pic and smile happily as you read the message.

"Hi baby, what's for dinner?"

It was a simple question, but you can't help but reply as fast as you can. It's been a while since Childe had ever had enough time to be with you. Wake up, eat, get ready, fullfill the files sent by Tsaritsa, go home, eat, sleep and repeat. That was his daily schedule, and you're pretty sure that repeating that schedule can be tiresome.

"I haven't made dinner yet, what do you want for dinner?"

Putting down the phone, you quickly check the fridge to check if you guys had left overs from yesterday's dinner. Ding! —— you pick up your phone to see Childe's reply.

"I'm fine with whatever, darling <3"

You let out snort, he has always been flirty even when texting. You typed out your reply and started getting dinner ready.

"Alright then, can't wait to see you later :))"

Childe had arrived earlier than you had anticipated, not that you were complaining. Childe greeted you and gave you kissies and huggies before he went to the bathroom to quickly take a bath and get dressed in comfy clothes. Soon after, the both of you ate dinner together and talked about how their day was, Childe mentioned that he was lucky because Tsaritsa didn't give him much files. Continuing the conversation, you both lost track of time, You and Childe were both too invested in the conversation. Before you both knew it, you had finished dinner in no time!

"Haaaahhhh~ delicious~ thank you for dinner baby" he said, getting up from his chair to give you a small peck on the cheek. "Love you" you smile when you heard those words. "I love you too" you replied wrapping your arms around his neck and gently pressing kisses everywhere on his face, making sure to not leave a place untouched.

"I'll take a bath! And then we can watch a movie. Since it's Sunday tomorrow, you don't have work, so that means.. I'll have you all to myself" you hug him, with that you let go of Childe and make your way to the bathroom. You hum your favorite song in the shower, making sure to scrub yourself clean with a good smelling body scrub. After taking a bath, you quickly jump in your pajamas and made your way to the living room.

"I honestly can't believe you lasted 5 months"

You hear someone else's voice, you peek behind a wall to see your boyfriend in a call with his fellow co-workers/long term friends.

"When are you gonna break up with (Name)? It's been more than 4 months, you already won the bet~"

"Don't tell me you actually fell for (Name)? They're nothing more than just a distraction!"

"you guys, I'm not planning to—"

You hear your boyfriend speak up, but before he could finish his sentence, you had already heard enough.

"you.. dated me for a bet..?" You question, bewildered and frustrated.

"(Name)!" Childe ends the call and walks towards you. "Let me explain, i—" he stops midsentence when he saw your eyes fill up with tears. He feels his stomach drop at the sight of you crying. You sob, covering your face in embarrassment. "I-I should..have known," You wipe your tears, only making way for new ones. "You would never date someone like me. And here I thought I was actually special." He hates it, he's supposed to apologize and beg for forgiveness but nothing came out. Instead he just stood there, staring at you, speechless. Eventually you had enough of the silence and ran to your shared bedroom, slamming the door closed. Childe mentally swears at himself for not chasing after you.

It has been 2 hours, Childe was infront of the door to your shared bedroom, hesitating whether or not he should knock. He eventually knocks. "(Name)..? Look I know I messed up, please come out so we can talk.." Hearing no response, he grabs ahold of the door nob and twists it open.

You were there, on the bed, sleeping peacefully. Childe walks towards your sleeping figure and cups your left cheek with his right hand. He notices your puffy eyes, red nose and dried up tears. Knowing that he was the cause of your tears, tore him apart.

"forgive me, darling." He whispers, closing his eyes wishing he hadn't agreed on doing that stupid bet. "Am I just a bet to you..?" You say, feeling your eyes produce more tears. His eyes flung wide open. "No no no, ofcourse not. I was stupid back then and made a bet to play with your feelings." He says guilty. You once again let out a sob. He lifts you up on his lap and cradles you. "I'm so sorry baby. I swear that was the past, I actually gained feelings for you. Heck, I love you, (Name)." You sniffled. "You're not faking it?" Childe shakes his head. "I may have made a bet, but I assure you that my love for you now is real." He presses his forehead against yours, looking into your eyes. You smile. "There's the smile I adore oh so much" He teased. You giggle. "I love you too"

"Does that mean I'm.. forgiven?" He asks while hugging you, relieved. "No, not yet atleast. You must earn my forgiveness." He smiled. "I'll try my best."

A Soulmate AU where in everyone experiences a different soulmate prompt once in their lifetime. Your soulmate prompt is that your soulmate is invisible to you until you figure out a certain trigger, and that applies for your soulmate aswell.

You live in a world where two people destined to be together are to experience a certain challenge/restriction called prompts in order to be with each other. Some of the popular prompts were communicating with your soulmate through telepathy, being born with a matching tattoo with your soulmate and more. Growing up, you never had anything unusual with you, so your parents assumed you were maybe a part of the minority who don't have destined soulmates. Some may have already found their soulmate, you on the other hand, is oblivious. Everyone seems to have different prompts, but you've heard of how hard it actually is to find your soulmate. You don't even know what your prompt is to begin with! How are you gonna find out who your soulmate is? When you were 10 years old, you decided to get yourself together and studied some of the most popular soulmate prompts to ever exist. You started with writing on your skin to see if your soulmate replied back, then befriending different people to see if there are any effects, but to your dismay it was all useless. Eventually, you gave up and just assumed that Celestia decided that you wouldn't have a soulmate. It's been 12 years since you gave up trying to find your soulmate, you're currently 22 years old, working in the Knights of Favonius, and seated at Good Hunter. "(Name)!" You hear a familiar voice call out. Instinctively, you turn around only to see your good friend and the Acting Grand Master, Jean. Oh and speaking of soulmates, Jean has already found her soulmate, who turns out to be Lisa. "Ah, Acting Grand Master Jean! Do you need anything?" You reply, standing up to go and greet her properly. "The Knights of Favonius are planning to make a small celebration party for defeating Storm Terror." You hum, letting her know that you're listening. "And so, we're planning to celebrate at the tavern. Will you kindly tell the others aswell?" You smile, clearly pleased by the news. "Sure! The tavern is none other than Cat's Tail right?" Jean shakes her head. "I apologize for not being specific about the location. The celebration will take place at Angel's Share." You blink. 'Angel's Share..? Since when did Mondstadt ever have a tavern named Angel's Share?' You thought to yourself. "Ah.. ok!" Hearing your response, Jean smiles. "Great! Thank you, (Name)! I'll have to get going now. I must tend to my files." Saying goodbye, she left without another word.

Walking over to Flora's shop, you decide to check on how the shop has been doing. "Hello Flora and her lovely flowers, how have you guys been doing?" Flora looks at you with excitement. "(Name)! I've been trying to look for you! Here! Take these, my form of gratitude for you and the knights' hard work." She hands you a bouquet of different kinds of flowers. "Thank you, Flora! We appreciate it. We, the Knights' of Favonius are only doing our rightful duty to prote-" You suddenly remember what Jean told you. The Tavern. Flora looks at you, waiting for you to finish your sentence. "Actually.. Flora, can you do me a favor?" She nods in response. "Do you maybe know a tavern named 'Angel's Share' around here? Acting Grand Master Jean told me that the members of the Knights of Favonius will celebrate there, although.. I've never heard of it before." Flora looks at you with confusion, Donna who just came back heard the whole conversation. "You.. don't know where Angel's Share is?" Donna asks, skeptically. You nod. "Isn't Angel's Share popular? You should know by now that it's the most well known tavern in Mondstadt!" Flora says with a tint of disbelief in her voice. "Oh.. is that so? Why is it that i've only heard of it now?" Donna shrugs. "You do know Calavary Captain, Kaeya right?" You nod slowly. "Well he has a well known brother named Dil-" Right before Flora could finish her sentence, a familiar voice called out for you. "(Name)! Over here!" You look to see Amber waving at you, you look at Donna and Flora, both nodding as they realize that you have to go. Walking towards Amber, you both greet each other and talk about each other's day. "Oh look at the time! We have to get going, let's go to Angel's Share before we arrive late" You ponder for a second. "(Name)? Are you okay?" You snap out of your thoughts and quickly reply. "Yes! I'm fine. Just, some thoughts" you let out a nervous chuckle. While the both of you make your way to Angel's Share, you thought of what Flora said before Amber called you. "Captain Kaeya has a Brother?..'

You were in the middle of doing what you were doing, whether it's be cleaning, reading or anything really. You were singing your favorite song while no one was around. Atleast you thought you were alone. It turns out c/n was watching you sing your favorite song! How embarrassing! Little did you know, you had a beautiful voice, but due to your parents' strict nature, they don't allow you to listen to any songs back when you were a child. So now you're making up for lost time, and listening to songs and singing them, maybe even dancing to them at times when you feel like it!

❄︎ Kaeya

You were in the middle of cooking breakfast for yourself and for Kaeya, singing in a beautiful melody. It was all nice and peaceful, when SOMEONE had to intervene.

"well well~" you abruptly turn around to see Kaeya leaning against the doorframe, smirking. "Didn't know my darling could sing oh so well" He said walking towards you, you pout in response. "You startled me" you replied. Kaeya chuckles and ruffles your hair. "Apologies, though I'd like to hear you sing again" he grins, "I'll sing when you don't come out of nowhere and startle me" you huff, continuing to cook the bacon and eggs. He wraps his arms around your waist. "I've already apologizied~ forgive me sweetheart~" Kaeya gives you a peck on the lips. "Fine, only if you agree on my proposition!" Raising your index finger up, it looks as if you're a parent scolding their children. "Alright then, what must I do to earn my darling's forgiveness?" You look at him, pleased. "You must take me on a date, Sir. Kaeya Alberich!" You declare confidently. Kaeya smirks. "Anything for your Royal Highness~" He bows and takes your hand in his as he kisses the back of your hand. "Shall we get ready?" You giggle. "We still have breakfast you know~" He smiles and let's go of your hand. "Of course, silly me~ let's eat shall we?"

☕︎ Diluc

Diluc was exhausted, he had to keep an eye on the tavern, file out paperworks and to protect Mondstadt as the Darknight Hero. He was working his night shift in Angel's share, making everyone a drink, cleaning their glasses, and so on. Nothing new and certainly nothing special, Diluc was used to this due to the fact that he owns the tavern.

You agreed to go to Angel's share with a certain green, carefree bard Venti my beloved. "Oh oh! What ifffff, we both preform a song and then get dandelion wine afterwards? It sounds like a fool proof plan to me!~" the bard chuckled. "Sure why not? Although, you've gotta control your drinking Ven.." you sigh entering the tavern with Venti, you expect to see Charles behind the bar counter but instead you see your red haired boyfriend. And by the looks of it, he wasn't expecting to see you here aswell. "Evening Master Diluc! Hope you don't mind me bringing your s/o with me, we're gonna preform tonight ehe~" Diluc looks at you then the bard then back to you. "You're gonna preform tonight with this bard?" He asks almost in disbelief. "Yep, didn't expect to see you here" you smile, Diluc sighs and shows a tiiiinnnnnyyy smile that only you would be able to see. "Well it can't be helped, Charles had some urgent matters to tend to." You nod, smile never faltering. Venti grabs your wrist. "Apologies for intervening but (Name), we have to go! it'll be our turn soon enough" with that you give Diluc a look as if telling him that you'll continue this conversation with him later. Diluc, completely understanding the look you gave him, nods for you to accompany the bard.

Venti and you are currently on stage, you waiting patiently for Venti's introduction and speech to end. Atlas! After the bard has give his speech, both of you start singing, you and Venti alternating lines and harmonizing, it was a outstandingly melodic performance. Diluc can't help but stare in awe, time slowing down and all he could hear is your voice. He thinks you have quite an angelic voice.

After the performance, you head to the counter to get 6 orders of dandelion wine 5 of the orders being Venti's. Sitting on one of the bar stools, you tell Diluc your order. "6 orders of dandelion wine please" Diluc sighs, already knowing that a cheeky bard told you to order him some wine. "Your singing was.. great" He says while preparing the orders. You blush, not used to Diluc complimenting you in public. "Thank you, I think my singing would sound better with yours" you say, openly but subtly asking him for a duet. Diluc's gaze softens, and he utters a quiet response, to which you could hear quite clearly. "I think our voices would compliment one another."

⚠︎ Childe

Your boyfriend rarely had nightmares, and if he ever did, most of them are about you. He told you that most of his nightmares about you are you leaving him for another or you dying.

Childe would always wake up in distress, profusely sweating, wide eyes and trembling shoulders. And in these cases, you are either still awake, or will wake up because of him. Either way, you assure him that you don't mind waking up because of him and his nightmares. He really appreciates that <33

Although this particular night, he had a nightmare about you leaving him for another person and you end up marrying them, create a family with them, and all the things Childe wanted, no, yearned to do with you. All the while you were happy with your family, Childe was left miserable and lonely. You end up dying infront of him because of the Tsaritsa's orders, and that's how his nightmare ended.

He woke up, crying and trembling so hard that there was no way you wouldn't wake up.

"Childe? There.. there.." you rub his back, Childe hugs you and nuzzles his face in the crook of your neck. "Ple..ase don't leave.. me.." he says sniffing and trying his best to stop crying. You only did what you could think of to comfort him, you sang to him. You sang him your comfort song, a song that never fails to cheer you up. Soon enough, Childe fell asleep on your chest after a few minutes.

The sight of him broke your heart, red puffy eyebags, dried tears, and a red nose. You wondered what kind of nightmare would make him cry and tremble so much, but you'll ask him in the morning when he feels better because right now, your top priority is to comfort him after his grueling nightmare. You kiss the top of his head and hug him. "I love you Childe, I'll never leave you okay..?"

To your suprise, Childe heard what you said and let out a muffled response. "I love you too, (Name)" Melting your heart in the process.

ꕥ Zhongli

You recently found this book about types of massages and how to set up the relaxing mood. You've already read the whole book and you wanted to try your massage skills out. And who better than your boyfriend? You proceeded to tell him all about the book and how much you've learnt from it, eventually you ask him if he could be your first test subject customer.

Zhongli agrees on the idea, mainly because it's been a while since he's gotten a massage and second because it's you ofc!

Setting up the towels, essential oils, candles, lukewarm water, and scents. You set him up, laying on his stomach and face down. You lit up the candles and add scents around the room, you then start adding essential oils on his back and proceed to massage. You're not gonna lie, his back was as stiff as a surfing board 😪

Remembering the contents of the book, it said that the customer will feel a lot more relaxed if the masseur/masseuse sings or hums any song that will set up a relaxing mood.

Sure enough, you start singing. Zhongli is taken aback by the sudden singing, but nonetheless he loves it. He feels as though he could fall asleep at any moment and he may or may not have.

After the massage, he admits that he has never felt that relaxed before and that he would love to experience it again. You happily oblige.

"I must say, never in my whole life time have I felt such tranquil feeling before." You laugh. "You flatter me too much, love" He smiles. "I speak of the truth, please do let me experience this again. It was quite a memorable feeling."

He grows curious and raises an eyebrow. "Mc?" Upon hearing his call for your name, you snap out of your trance. "Ah.. I wanted to ask you something.." Lucifer hums in amusement, you gulp. "Can I touch your wings..?" "What..?"

Don't get me wrong! This man is delighted but won't show it because he's the avatar of pride, what did you expect?? 🤨

He's just a bit surprised, never in his whole life in devildom has he heard someone, better yet a human, ask him if they could touch his wings though he's probably been waiting for this moment his entire time being with you

He'll sit down on the bed, back facing you and get in his demon form. Now, Lucifer's wings are sensitive because this man demon, has been touch starved his entire time being in Devildom. He has FOUR wings, AND THE FACT THAT THEIR ALL SO FLUFFY IS KILLING YOU

"Ah ah ah, gentle" His wings are fluffy but firm. This becomes kind of a bonding time for both of you, you get to feel his fluffy wings and he gets to relax. A win win situation.

Mammon was tired, not only physically but also emotionally. While you were scrolling through Devilgram on his couch, he barged in the room, closed the door and layed his head on your lap... In his demon form...-

"Mammon? Why are you in your demon form..?" You ask him hesitantly, afraid that he might break down. "Tired" he says, muffled by your lap. You slowly put your hands on his hair and start massaging his head, you also include his horns. "W-what are ya doing??" He asks, you smile and say "rubbing your horns, can I not?" Mammon clears his throat. "Of course ya wanna touch the Great Mammon's horns! The only reason why I'm lettin' ya touch em is because I'm tired. Ya better be grateful!" You hum, letting him know that you are grateful. Unbeknownst to you, Mammon was a blushing mess, like Lucifer, he won't ever admit he likes it.

All jokes aside~ Mammon really enjoys getting rubbed by his human~ once you guys did this again, Mammon fell asleep, and you couldn't get him to wake up when you wanted to go to the washroom, you had to call Beel and Levi to carry him so you could go to the washroom 🧍‼️

Noww~ Let's talk about his horns! His horns are smooth and a bit of a rough kind of texture. But nonetheless, his horns are steady.

8/10 - cute, don't make him fall asleep- or you won't get to use your bathroom privileges when he's drop dead on your lap 💀💥

Now this demon, saw one of his favorite streamers with their s/o, and while they were gaming, they said that they let their s/o play with their horns while they game. And the streamer said that it was really relaxing and that it helps with gaming. And so, Levi being Levi... He wanted to try it with you!

And so this is how you guys were in this position, him being in his demon form, you behind him in his gaming chair giving his horns a rub while he streams, and oh! Did I forget to mention that he was so red, it almost looked like a filter?? 😀

It was a regular day on Devildom, you and Satan were just enjoying each other's presence, Satan reading a book, and you playing on your D.D.D, nothing out of the ordinary. Not until you asked him if you could file his horns. Like Lucifer, he was caught by surprise.

Yet even through his suprised face, he replied with a hushed "Sure" He has never had anyone file his horns other than himself so it's quite natural for him to be a little nervous.

When you first touched his horns with your hands it was nothing out of the ordinary, but when you touched a certain part for example, he PURRED???? Both of you were shocked, and he looked so embarrassed. Please reassure him :((

Although when you start filing his horns did he realize that this felt nice, and that the both of you should do this more often than not. "Mm.. right there" you brush on the base of his horn, "here feels good?" He hums in delight. "We should do this more often. I find this quite relaxing." He says, you smile and respond with a "I'd love that."

Asmo was actually the one to suggest it, and you just happily obliged. You guys were doing one of your gossip sessions and such when he thought of the idea, he went on his demon form and told you to touch his wings

You touched them and unlike Lucifer's wings, it felt firm and smooth. All the while you felt his wings, he was ecstatic. Many of his partners have touched his wings and horns before, but Asmo swore this was the first time it felt so good, and he thought it was probably because it was you who was touching him.

For the first time in years, he finally felt love, genuine love. The love that makes you feel all fuzzy and warm on the inside. And for once, you could say Asmodeus is inlove with you. A human exchange student whom won his heart.

In all reality, Asmo just wanted someone to actually love him for who he is. Not just his role, or sin. But because of himself. "I love you, Mc!~ I could kiss you right now! In fact~ let's kiss shall we?" He thinks he's the luckiest demon ever, to date someone as kind and loving as you are. Much like Satan, he wouldn't mind staying like this forever.

You asked if you guys can do it, and he agreed..... Just of course, keep the food in arms length.

Beel was eating when you were filing his horns. "Why dwo yu nweed to fwil mwi howns?"("Why do you need to file my horns?") He says while eating with his mouth full. You chuckled and replied with "So that they don't look all rough and old" Beel just hums while he continues to gobble up all the food.

All honesty, Beel felt really good when he ate food, when you file his horns every week, he makes sure to bring food because it's kind of a habit to bring food when you file his horns.

In the middle of your cuddling session, you thought of a great idea. Facing Belphegor, you ask him if you could file his horns. He sleepily obliges and goes in his demon form.

You place his head on your lap and start filing, before Belphie fell asleep, you asked him if you could also touch his tail. He responded with a low hum.

Belphie was sleeping the whole time you were filing his horns and brushing his tail, but he's got to admit, he got pleasant dreams. He's never felt so relaxed with someone filing his horns. He wishes to sleep on your lap forever and ever.

He lets out little hums in delight aswell! When he's sleeping and you brush on the tip of his horns, he feels as if he's floating in full on euphoria. Belphegor along with most of his brothers won't admit that he likes this, but he will drop hints to when he wants you to touch his horns while he sleeps, like this one time when he randomly changed to his demon form and layed his head on your lap, and at that point, you knew he liked it when you touch his horns. A drunkard's tale

In which one night he reminisces about the time when you were still with him.

It wasn't fair, Venti thought. He knew this day would come. He knew you couldn't stay forever, and yet he still let himself get carried away. The warm sun shining over Mondstadt, the wind blowing some of the leaves off of the branches of trees, the sky as clear as day. The weather was as breathtaking as always, but something was missing.. your hand in his. He was sitting on top of Starsnatch cliff, your favorite place to hang out in. Only then did he realize that he'll never see your beautiful smile ever again, never will he feel your warmth again, for you are no longer here, only the memories that are engraved in his head are the only close feeling of your presence.

And the worst part of all.. he gets flashbacks whenever he goes to a place that stores precious memories of both of you.

"Would you like to see me in my real form?" Both of you were stargazing on top of Starsnatch cliff, earlier he called you because he wanted to show you something important. "You mean.. your archon form?" You ask pleasantly surprised. "Yep!" Venti let out a airy chuckle and turned to look at the stars. "This form of mine made all of Mondstadt. I want you to love all of me. Even of what form I may take. I want you to love me either way." Venti fears the day when you'll leave him, he never wants to experience that pain again. "Venti.. you know I'd love you even if you've changed your form millions of times. You'd still be you in my eyes." Hearing that, Venti wastes no time into changing into his archon form. A bright light illuminates from his body and soon enough you see white feathers as white as the stars in the sky. You take a glimpse of his form and slowly take in what you see. "Wow.." you murmur breathless. Barbatos smiles. "What do you think?" You looked at him in awe. Standing up and walking towards him, you envelope him in a warm hug. "I love you Barbatos! I love everything about you!" Barbatos or Venti.. you loved him either way, and that was no more than the real truth. He chuckled and hugged you back, he looked as if he wasn't bothered and was just happy being there, but in reality, he was relieved, he thought that after all those horrible things he'd done in this form, he'd think you'd despise him, that wasn't the case! He didn't need to worry for you love him for who he is. He had what he yearned for the most, happiness.

How cruel life could be, celestia reminding him that he is an archon who cannot die and will not die. An archon cursed to be forever immortal. A tear escapes his eyes as he looks at the beautiful sunset. "Why.. why can't I recreate the same beautiful eyes that you have? Why must I take yet another form of my late loved ones? Windblume, with this new form, I'll promise to take care of it. I love you, (name). Always and forever." He says as he touched his cheek in the form of yourself. "Until we meet again."
