my biggest flex is that i predicted the ending to aot and bitches r still mad abt jeankasa being canon LMFAO
AOT 139 SPOILERS
all of this can be up to perception!! this is what i think might’ve happened because of how i read the story and because of how i see the characters and their relationships
im not gonna lie, but i think mikasa would probably get with jean after she would get over eren’s death.
eren admitted that even if he secretly didn’t want mikasa to love anyone but him, he still did say he wants her to be happy. he says that despite his own feelings she should move on and find another man (or woman) to love so she can be at least a little bit happier.
and mikasa in season one apologizes for almost giving up on her life after she thinks eren has died, thinking she should not only live for eren and armin, but for herself. (at least that’s how i saw it)
but i don’t think mikasa would be over eren’s death even after the 3 year time skip(when she’s 22). i think it would take her a few more years, maybe at 24 or 25, for her to not think of eren for one day. i don’t think mikasa will completely get over eren’s death due to her loyalty to him.
however when she feels ready enough, she might allow herself to try to fall in love.
and this is where both jean and eren come in.
jean has loved mikasa since they were 12. after the realization that mikasa is in love with eren, he backs off because he just wants mikasa to be happy. he’s waited and waited and waited for his chance, but it’s never come, and he’s okay with that.
also eren would probably try to prevent men from flirting with mikasa, unless it were jean.
eren’s known about his feelings for mikasa for years, probably since they first met, and he’s thankful that jean backed off. he knows how much he cherishes mikasa, that he’d probably do anything just to make her happy, even if it would break him. and deep down, even if he doesn’t want to admit it, he knows that jean would make mikasa happy. also, because of jean’s love, he acknowledges that he will never replace eren. no one can and no one will.
in a more logical standpoint, eren would probably want the ackerman clan to continue and reproduce. and considering that levi’s in a wheelchair, mikasa is probably the only one who can do it.
so whenever jean starts coming around mikasa just to comfort her, to hold her in his arms while she cries silently about eren, eren doesn’t try to peck at his head.
eren’s heart hurts while watching the two of course, but he knows it’s the right choice. and it isn’t the first time he’s let himself be hurt just for his friends to be happy. something jean and him have in common.
that’s why eren, just like jean did years ago, sucks it up and bites his tongue.

He is immensely confident in his skills and does not ever doubt that he will win, to the point that when Oikawa bragged that he and his team would be the ones going to nationals, Ushijima genuinely thought that he was confused and corrected him that only one team is allowed to go.
One of Ushijima's most notable characteristics is his tendency to bluntly say what is on his mind, causing him to come off as tactless or rude. He does not seem to be able to read people, and often takes the jokes and figurative language from others literally.
Due to his limited social skills and being incredibly earnest, Ushijima can appear awkward and unintentionally funny. This is seen when he prioritized reading the ads in magazines instead of the actual content and being thoroughly shocked when a young boy finds volleyball boring.
Ushijima greets Hinata and then the Aoba Johsai players, wishing them luck since the Spring High was the final high school tournament for them. The two then get angry with Ushijima, though he doesn't know why.
Right before the game begins, Goshiki comes over and tells Ushijima that he'll prove he's worthy of being the ace. Ushijima nonchalantly tells Goshiki "good luck", angering Goshiki.
Reon comments on Nishinoya's setting and Ushijima voices his opinion, surprising the former as Ushijima usually doesn't comment on his opponents. Tendō comments on Ushijima's dislike of Hinata and guesses the ace dislikes him because of the latter's unpredictability, which is something that Ushijima is not use to.
However, when Tendō talks to Ushijima, their conversations are very one-sided due to Ushijima's simplistic nature and Tendō's enthusiasm. They do seem to be close, as Tendō calls Ushijima by his first name, and the latter doesn't seem to mind.
Ushijima quoted Tendō to express his own excitement.
He is speculated by Tendō to dislike things that he doesn't understand, or that gives him the feeling of "not knowing what he's going to do", like Hinata.
Ushijima is a quiet and stoic individual, not speaking very often, and often maintaining the same fierce expression on his face which often gives him an intimidating appearance.
