A photo of #EbonHeath's #typographic #ballet, shown at #MADE gallery #Berlin in 2010. This was just one of many pioneering, beautifully produced interdisciplinary arts projects facilitated by the gallery, which closed two weeks ago. I'm gutted I never got to make it to MADE. It lasted four years. Projects/happenings like this are naturally time limited - so learning that team MADE have moved on to new adventures is a wake up call for me! Go visit that exhibition or gallery or show, support that artist if you really feel it! Dont take it for granted. #lessons #learned to #love #art is to #actively #engage and #support #art. Thought: I'd love to see a space like MADE in London #justsayin.

Dance Therapy (2012) by James Clar  recognizes dance as a spatial artform where dancers have to think about their environment and how they are interacting with it. Additionally, it is about those times you go to a dance club, dance for hours, and let your mind wander.

This is a photo by curator Adelaide Bannerman of one of the London Stereoscopic Company day books that is currently on display at @AutographABP as part of their #BlackChronicles #Exhibition. She says “When you visited a 19th century studio, you could look in a day book to see display copies of #photographs of other sitters that had been through the studio. Each image was given a number or annotated in some way.”

The exhibition runs until Saturday and there is a free closing #party tomorrow night. Make it if you can!

Spoek Mathambo has released the second installment of his Future Sound of Mzansi Mix. Mathambo describes Volume 2 of his Afrofuturist musical odyssey as ‘AFRO ROCK SOUL FUNK INDIE ELECTRONICA IN THE TIME OF UNREST’. You can stream Volume 1 which was an exploration of electronica/beats/house music from the new wave of South African producers below, and keep an eye out for part 3!

Hmm, it's been a while, but I was recently reminded of my bygone culture/arts signpost duties by my friend Michelle Papillion (of Papillion art gallery) when she FB tagged me as someone a visiting US friend should hit up for what's bleeping on the London arts radar (Thanks Miche!) This came at the end of a week that made this small but mighty phrase: "DO YOU!" inescapable.
