I absolutely love and adore with my whole heart when it's blatantly obvious what was a direct inspiration to a person's style. when u can tell that an artist watched DBZ based on how they draw eyes or that they watches Pokemon religiously based on their shading, it's just so scrumptious to the brain, y'know?

personalities too, I love when a character kin is obvious without them saying anything. like me, for example, I know exactly which Lalaloopsy dolls had a direct impact on who I am as a person. the exact ones.

that would mean the entirety of that movie happened in a very very small amount of time in between his death and the Trix being in Lightrock, including Bloom being on Domino for the whole suitors thing, Sky's proposal (which apparently disappeared into thin air but hey), the Trix getting ahold of then Ancestral Witches, everything. which honestly, I literally can't even being to fathom how that'd fit.

only thing I could think of is like an alternate timeline, a pocket blip or something, or they just made that movie for the heck of it

I HAVE A QUESTIONNNN

so. the Winx movies, right? as far as I know, there's three but correct me if I'm wrong. it's got a general timeline. the Secret of The Lost Kingdom fits between seasons 3 and 4, right after Bloom gets her Enchantix and right before they come back to Alfea as teachers and for the fairy pet arc.

the Mystery of The Abyss fits i think between seasons 5 and 6, right after they save Daphne and right before Mythix.

BUT

the Magical Adventure movie, where all the magic disappears 'cause of the Ancestral Witches and everything? WHERE THE HECK DOES IT FIT??? being that they're still at Believix in this movie, one would say in season 4, no? but there's one inconsistency that messes that up.

the Trix and Nabu are in the same place during the Believix arc.

s4 is the only season that the Trix weren't in, the Wizards of the Black Circle were the villains for that. Nabu was around for Believix, but the Trix didn't come back til s5. AFTER NABU DIED. there's no way I can think of where the Trix would have a part during Believix while Nabu was still alive, or where Nabu lived long enough for the Trix to come back since he didn't make it to s5. so where does this godforsaken movie fit in the timeline???? please HELP.

does anyone else do that thing where they take a break from art/fall into an art block slump for like a few months and then when you finally start arting again, its like you leveled up during that dormant period? like why am I significantly better at some aspects of this than I was before the break?? did my skills need to bake, did they need to rise, is it like yeast??? what codes did I crack while doing absolutely nothing????
