The Navigator of the Astral Express, Nana Shimura has made a name for herself in her years following in Akivili’s footsteps on the Path of the Trailblaze. She has gone to many worlds and met many people, seen plenty come aboard and leave the Express. She knows the journey will end with just her and the Conductor, and then they will begin the journey again. But she knows it is wonderful meeting so many people, people from all kinds of worlds with different experiences. Some even have similar faces to people she has known from her old home, but their experiences have changed them to be completely different people. And that’s what makes this journey all the more beautiful.

Wouldn't it be funny, though, if Duel Monsters ended up being just a thing that happens for one arc like Takahashi initially planned?
