You may have seen a lot of users on tumblr giving out their alternate social media locations recently because of all the blog-deleting craziness (can’t blame them, honestly). While I’m fairly sure my blog is safe and I still plan on using tumblr the same way I’ve always been (so mostly lurking, occasionally reblogging), the whole situation has caused me to cave to peer pressure and give Twitter another try!

Funimation stated the anime will air in Japan on TV Tokyo in 2019, and Funimation will stream the anime on FunimationNow. Funimation also confirmed it has licensed the home video rights. Funimation confirmed the new anime will cover the entire manga’s story.
The new anime will have an entirely new cast and staff. The new cast includes:
Manaka Iwami as Tohru Honda
Nobunaga Shimazaki as Yuki Sohma
Yūma Uchida as Kyo Sohma
Yūichi Nakamura as Shigure Sohma
Yoshihide Ibata is directing the anime at TMS Entertainment.
Taku Kishimoto is in charge of series composition.
Masaru Shindou is drawing the character designs.
Takaya herself is serving as executive supervisor.
