I updated my dnd character, Deonto! He is one of my few art OC’s bc I have always preferred fanart, but I think I should do character again. He’s really cute!

Also, gonna take this as a chance to update y’all on the status of this account. Prior, I almost strictly posted Welcome Home content- not only was I deeply obsessed with Welcome Home, but even if I did draw non Welcome Home content, it really wasn’t worth posting. I still love Welcome Home, and will always have a special interest in it, but I have moved onto other interests as well. If you are someone that followed me just for my WH content, I will still be drawing and posting some, but at a far lesser rate. Instead, I hope you guys enjoy the rest of what I can offer.

Posted this yesterday to insta, but thought Tumblr would appreciate it. I recently got into the Simon Snow trilogy (and finished it all in a week, including the short story.) So, I decided to draw my favourite character, the fashionable vampire, Baz Grimm-Pitch! Thank you again @rainbowrowell for writing such a great series!

An Apple Wally for autumn! Apples are my favourite fruit, besides myself.

Unfortunately I did have to give up Inktober due to both arthritis and schedule conflicts, but I am super proud of quite a few of the pieces I made and will likely continue to work in that style in the future.

Also, does anyone want to be art friends? I really would love to meet a few art mutuals! 18+, though 21+ would be appreciated. Comment or dm me if interested.

Day 8: Celestial! Bit of a later posting time than usual, but we got er done! Normally I draw a lot of fanart, but for some reason I just wanted to draw a witchy old lady. I think she is so beautiful, I love her hair so much. I’ve gotten a few new followers lately, so I want to warn this isn’t my usual style, this is really the opposite, but I think think it’s so pretty.

Whoops, late again. I didn’t like today’s prompt on my usual list, so I picked up a secondary one to use when I feel uninspired by the first. So, here is day 7: Frame! I am obsessed with the texture of the hair.

Real talk: Yeah, there will be pauses. I don’t discuss my health on here often, but along with school, I have arthritis in my dominant wrist. I can’t really move it at all. It is why I switched from traditional art to digital. And while I am totally fine with it, I just also get pain. I love the texture all these lines give, but they’re so hard on my wrist. So, some days may just take some time, but it’ll be worth it. 31 will be done when they’re done.

Sorry for the pause. Unfortunately, school is still going strong in October. I had no time I draw all weekend, and now that I could, I wasn’t sure what to do. Did I skip those days? Give up on inktober? Rapid draw some pieces and rush post over the next few days? But surely I would once again end up busy. Thus, I’ve decided my best action is to just pause and pickup when needed. So, while it is day 9, I am picking back up from day 6 and continuing.

So, here is day 6: Key! I just wanted to draw the cat from Coraline, though idk how well it translates.

Oh boy, already day 3! Today’s prompt was “Gem”, which immediately made me think of the gem featured in Ice King’s crown. While I haven’t yet gotten a chance to either finish Adventure Time or watch Fiona and Cake, who hasn’t seen this guy’s design floating around? And damn do I hope to keep seeing it.
