Y’all I’ve been hinting at it for like two days now but my father got arrested in Texas on his way to a job. He’s a contractor that travels often alone as the only black man in the entire company and because he was alone he got arrested almost immediately after getting there on some bullshit. He can’t leave, we can’t see him, and for almost a full day we thought he was dead because they wouldn’t even tell his family he was in jail. Right now he needs a lawyer to sign off on leaving the state and getting home to see his grandson and wife and me, his son, and no one who put him in the situation is willing to help out.

My step mom made a page here and if you can at the very least spread it and or donate I’d owe you my life. My father aint a saint but he didn’t deserve to go through this alone at his age especially right now in the midst of all this outward unapologetic hatred for black men. Please spread.

Romantic Ride

Hydro User!Reader

Characters: Jean, Lisa, Beidou

Jean:

Jean had been very busy with her work as Acting Grand Master recently

She looked so obviously tired, but continued to insist she was fine, and didn’t need a break

You obviously thought otherwise. You didn’t want your girlfriend to overwork herself to death and neither did anyone else really.

Everyone loved the Dandelion Knight, and they’d hate to see her get sick.

Barbara, Jean’s little sister, approached you one day, asking you to help her sister with taking a break. You gave the deaconess a smile and nodded, already having formed a plan. You told Barbara about it, and she was immediately excited.

Being a fellow Hydro user, your plan was ingenious! She offered to help out, and you accepted.

Later on, you went to retrieve Jean from her office, where you found the blonde going through document after document.

Her shining blue eyes looked up to you, and a smile crossed her face at the sight of you.

“(Y/n)! Hello! What brings you here today?” The Acting Grand Master greeted, standing up and going over to you to wrap you in a hug.

You could physically feel Jean relax within your embrace, and you smiled. You looked up/down to her, a pout on your face. Time to put your plan into action.

“Jeannn~ You’ve been working so hard lately! You need a break, I don’t want you to hurt yourself by working this much, yknow?”

Jean sighed, leaning her head against you. “Yes, I know. But this is really important, and I really need to get these done in the Grand Master’s absence..” You shook your head, frowning.

“Well you need to take breaks as well! Come on, I’ve just the thing!” You began to pull Jean away from her work, the woman giving slight protest. “Wh- (Y/n)? Wait, I need to-!” “No time for that! It’s break time! Come along now, sweetie!” Jean’s cheeks flushed when you said that. She always liked you calling her pet names, and so she followed without much more complaint. The two of you exited Mondstat, hand in hand, and made your way over to Windrise. There, Barbara was waiting, smile on her face. She greeted you and her older sister happily. You turned to Jean.

“Barbara and I have prepared a special surprise for you! It’s something we came up with when experimenting with our visions the other day!” As you turned and nodded to the deaconess, she grinned and nodded back. Jumping up and doing a little twirl, a ring of water in the shape of a music score materialized and wrapped itself around her waist, sparkling in the summer sun. At the same time, you gingerly let go of Jean’s hand and stepped back a bit, giving your beloved a smile before striking your own pose. (Y’know, the little things they do to activate their “e”) The second you do, a bubble rises up from the ground and encapsulates Jean. She looks shocked, and giggles as she rises a little into the air. As you and Barbara work together, doing a dance unlike any one untold, your visions also begin to sing as they work together to spin the blonde woman around in her bubble, shining and twisting and changing shape around her. One twirl; it would be a little ledge spinning in the sky. A step here, a pirouette there, it becomes a cacophony of rushing water that wraps around Jean not unlike a dragon, spinning and soaring her through the air. A plié makes the water shimmer and heal, a pointe makes it sing. Ultimately, Jean finds this to be the most fun thing she’s ever done in her life up to this point. Once the dance ends, so does the workings of waterm spinning around her as a gentle whirlpool as it deposits her safely back onto the ground. Jean wobbled a little, but quickly regains balance, as though she’d never been unbalanced at all.

“That.. that was.. it was so amazing! It was absolutely wonderful!” She cries, and rushes over to you and Barbara, a grin on her face unseen in so long. Her arms encapsulates the both of you into a hug, and she presses a kiss to your temple, and one to the crown of Barbara’s head.

“Thank you both, for giving me this surprise. It was very wonderful of the both of you. And it was so romantic coming from you, (Y/n).” You gave a blush and a cheesy grin, beaming at your beloved girlfriend.

“Aw, it was nothing, also I may take up to dancing with Barbara more often, it was quite fun!” Jean giggled, as did her sister.

“Well, maybe the two of you could do another performance for me sometime. For now though, let’s just enjoy the sun and the wind.” And so the three of you did, having a picnic underneath the great tree at Windrise and chatting away. You lay your head in Jean’s lap as she runs her hands through your hair, content smiles to both of your faces. You’re glad Jean got to have a break, and you really should do this more often.

Strong S/O Headcannons!

Characters: Venti, Kaeya, Zhongli, Scaramouche

You’re physically stronger than they expected you to be; even though you look so “weak”, how do they react?

Venti isn’t usually one to judge someone based on their physique, he himself being tiny, but you... you... you’re simply amazing!

Not only are you taller/shorter than him, but the fact that you could so easily pick up his form and at least two other people at the same time astounds him!

Being the mischievous bard he is, he’ll get you to show off your strength to everyone using various tricks

“(Y/N)! I’m sooo tired.. will you carry me?” “Of course Venti!” You’d say, without a second thought, before tossing the bard onto your shoulders like it was nothing and continuing whatever you were doing.

Sometimes, when adventuring, he’d use the winds to trip a mitachurl your way on purpose (not maliciously or anything, of course) and just fall deeper in love as he watches you just.. pick the monster up and hurl it across the field.

“Weird, I wonder why they keep falling towards me?” “Maybe the hilichurls have bad luck today!”

Oh man, watching you pick up him and the couch he was laying on with one hand so you can vacuum underneath it with the other makes the god just swoon

He loves his strong s/o!! He’ll do anything for you! Even if you could literally crush him with your muscles!

He also loves your muscles/the fact that you don’t look muscly, but you’re still so insanely strong

You unfortunately, aren’t strong enough to wrestle a ruin guard but damn if you weren’t close to being able to do so

He doesn’t make you carry everything all the time, obviously, but when he tries to help he just looks so cute struggling like that, you just can’t help but carry him and everything else he was trying to carry

All in all, he would love for you to become strong enough one day to arm wrestle Dvalin’s claw, and also keep carrying him, man’s loves being carried

Kaeya isn’t one to judge another’s physique either, and when he finds out that you’re physically stronger than him? Well,,, that’s just hot

Especially if you’re shorter/taller than him and you just look like you could be snapped in half, you could actually be the one to do the snapping

Love At Lantern Rite

Genshin x !Traveler!Reader

//A/N: Happy Valentine’s Day! I speedran this one because I don’t have much writing motivation but I recently got Xiao on the first day of his banner and the Lantern Rite event is really fun and it’s Valentine’s Day so I figured, why not?

You and Paimon walked through the city, faces filled with wonder and awe at the beautiful sights around you. Lantern Rite was beginning to get into full swing, and the Mingxiao Lantern was just about ready to take off. You’d finally finished all of your quests and commissions for the festival, and you were now headed to the meeting place you and Paimon had arranged to meet Xiao at. The adeptus wasn’t too happy about the change in plans, having wanted to watch the festivities from the comfort of Wangshu Inn, but your pleading eyes and cute face managed to win him over.

See, the both of you had begun dating a couple months prior, all the way back to about three months after you’d met him at Wangshu Inn. It was almost like love at first sight, and you hadn’t stopped attempting to communicate with him afterwards. Xiao, at first, of course found this behavior annoying. But eventually, at one point your determination piqued his interests, and he began to give you the time of day. It took him a while, but sure enough, his feelings for you had began to grow as well. It wasn’t until he’d caught you from falling during the crash of the Jade Palace that he knew; then and there, that he didn’t want to lose you. After that, the rest was history.

It was easy to say that Xiao wasn’t immune to your pleads. No matter how indifferent or annoyed he looked, he always gave you what you wanted, to the best of his ability. Despite how busy he was, he always made time for you, whether that be the two of you stargazing on the roof of Wangshu Inn, or fighting monsters in Guili Plains. Even as you continued your quest to find your sibling, you always made time to go back to Lihue, and spend time with Xiao. Somewhere, in both of your hearts, you knew that this relationship had a chance of ending. You’d find your sibling eventually, and when you did, you may leave this world. Xiao knew that too. Despite this, both of you would deal with that when the time came, and enjoyed your time with one another as it lasted.

One of these special events would most definitely be the Lantern Rite. You’ve never been, and were honestly quite excited to see what the festival had in store. And it was simply amazing, you got to find treasure and play games with your friends, and go on adventures and even stop criminally idiotic plots! You were quite enjoying yourself, and now, the lanterns were preparing to be released into the sky. The place that you and Xiao had planned to meet at was on top of a hill, far enough from the city where there’d be no crowds, but close enough, so that you’d both get a good view of the lanterns being released. Paimon had reminded you that this was the spot you’d helped Vermeer find for his painting, and you laughed at that. Now, you and Xiao were settled on the grass, leaning against each other. Paimon was a little ahead of the both of you, watching excitedly for the lanterns as she munched on piles of delicious food. You giggled at the sight of your fairy friend, and snuggled closer to Xiao. The adeptus huffed, letting a light blush cross his cheeks.

“I’m glad that I can see this with you, Xiao. I would’ve been so sad if you hadn’t come.” You mused, sparing a glance to look over at your boyfriend. He gave an amused hum, lifting his arm to wrap around your shoulders, pulling you closer. Xiao wasn’t as awkward with physical affection as he was before, but millennia of a lack of it still made you pretty awkward with the movements, so it felt a little embarrassing for him. You didn’t mind at all though, and you know that Xiao didn’t either.

“Yeah, well... I couldn’t say no to you. My pride as a yaksha would have never let me do such a thing. Besides... I figured that seeing the lantern rite this year with you would be..Fun. It is your first one, after all.” Xiao turned to press a kiss into the crown of your head, earning an affectionate hum from you. His golden eyes glowed brightly in the moonlight, and you felt warm in his embrace.

“And I pray it won’t be the last time we see it together.” The yaksha’s whispered wish didn’t miss your hearing, and you gave Xiao an affectionate nuzzle in response.

“Guys! Quit acting all cute over there! It’s starting!” Paimon called from in front of you, and you and Xiao did as she said and turned to face the city. Hundreds of lights began to float into the sky, followed by the beautiful image of the Skychaser lantern dancing alongside them. As though it were dancing among the stars. You and Xiao smiled, watching the display in wonder. Your hands intertwined, holding on to one another tightly.

Your first Lantern Rite was a sight to behold, and you too prayed that you could participate in many more, all with Xiao by your side.

You’ll Do Well!

Genshin x Male!reader

Characters: Kaeya, Razor

POV: You’re a horseback rider, you ride horses for competitions. Despite the amount of time’s you’ve competed, and the amount of times you’ve won, you still get nervous before competitions.

A/N: I’m like, speed running through some of these requests lol, I’m sorry its a little short, and that it’s taking me so long! Writing is a hobby so I’m not too good at getting writings out faster than I get art out. But I’m glad you all stayed to read when I do manage to publish :) I still seriously need a Razor banner and some others, but I hope you all enjoy this anyways!

Razor:

Razor doesn’t know much about competitions, since he hasn’t had much social interaction with humans, and doesn’t know much about their events. But every time you had a competition coming up, you would always make sure to travel to the edge of the whispering woods, where the two of you would meet. Razor always made sure to remember when you had competitions coming up, and he would always mark the dates down in a book that Lisa had given him. The librarian had been teaching Razor how to read and wrote recently, just because he asked. He asked so he could communicate better with you, and remember your competition dates. You thought it was sweet.

Today was one of those days, and you had a big competition coming up tomorrow. You entered Whispering Woods, going no further than the edge, where no monsters lurked. Even if they did, you were sure that Razor would come by, slaying them with his claymore before they could even lay a claw on you. The sound of footsteps approached from behind, and a pair of familiar, strong arms wrapped around our shoulders.

“(Y/n). Competition today. You will... have good luck!” The raspy voice of your boyfriend purred, as his wild silver hair tickled your nose. You smiled, as your boyfriend nuzzled into your neck. He really was like a big dog, sometimes.

“Thank you Razor. It’s just.. you know how I get. And my horse hasn’t been feeling too well lately, so I’ll have to ride a new horse. What.. what if it doesn’t like me? What if I fall off? What if it’s not fast enough? I mean, I don’t mind losing, but.. I just don’t want to lose that feeling of the wind flying past me..” Razor smiled, turning you around in his grasp, his gloved hands coming up to squish at your cheeks. He proceeded to squish and pull at the flesh on your face, making silly expressions. You managed to laugh, the gentle manhandling of your face too silly not to acknowledge. Razor smiled, knowing that you always enjoyed when he did that, and it always made him happy to hear your beautiful laughter.

“(Y/n). You’re my.. lupical. Lupical are always.. amazing. Razor thinks you... will do great.” Razor praised you, doing his best with his expanding vocabulary. You smiled sweetly, as you knew how happy the lessons made Razor, since he was learning to more properly communicate with you. Of course, it wasn’t always perfect, as he juggled speaking to his wolf pack and you at the same time. Ou nuzzled your face into his hands, and he pressed his forehead to your own.

“Razor wishes... you good luck. Then after.. we hunt! You’re Razor’s amazing.. boyfriend. You do well.” The confidence swelled into you a his words, and you sighed softly, closing your eyes as you melted into Razor’s embrace.

“Thank you Razor. I’ll give it my very best.”

Kaeya:

The Calvary captain was always there fo you when you expressed an interest in doing competitive horse rifling and always encouraged you before and after competitions. He would help you train when he had time (which was usually always, you wondered sometimes how the man ever managed to keep up with his job as a Knight.), and he would go to each and every single one of your competitions. Because of this, he knew exactly your feelings before you started competitions, and he always knew just what to say each time to reassure you, and make you feel better.

Currently, the both of you stood in a back area, waiting for the horses to be prepared for the race. Your head was tucked into your boyfriend’s chest, your hands curled up against him as well. Kaeya had his arms wrapped around you, his face buried into your hair. The man cooed sweet words, encouraging you to do your best.

“You’re going to be great out there darling. Your always are. And I’ll be right here, cheering you along all the way.” You looked up to Kaeya, your (e/c) eyes shining with anxiety.

“But.. what if I’m not? You know how my horse hasn’t been feeling well lately.. I’ll have to ride a new horse! What if it doesn’t like me, or what if it’s not as fast as my usual horse? What if I fall off?”

“Then I’ll be there to kiss you all better. But stop worrying, it’ll be fine! Animals love you, dear. Everyone does, you know this! It’s so hard for me to keep them all away from my cute little boyfriend, you know~” You giggled, swatting playfully at your lover as he dramatically cuddled you closer to him, pretending to be distraught about how everyone loved you more than he did.

“You know that’s not true. Besides, I know you’ll love me more than anything or anyone else ever could.” You grinned, before blushing. Kaeya gave you a mischievous smile, and you knew that that was exactly what he wanted to hear. He’d been goading you into this all along! How you could never tell, you’ll never know.

“See, there you go! Just like how I’ll love you more than anyone else, I’ll also believe in you more than anyone else. And I believe that you’ll tame that horse, and leave all the other competition in the dust.” You rolled your eyes, before smiling softly and leaning up to give Kaeya a small peck on the lips. He pouted that he couldn’t get more, but you did need to get going soon.

“Thank you, love. You know how much I needed to hear that.” Kaeya grinned, his eye thinking with adoration.

“Of course, (Y/n). Now, go get em.”
