Completed in 2012, Serpent d’océan is a giant aluminum sea serpent skeleton by artist Huang Yong Ping, situated off the shore of the Loire River where it empties into the Bay of Biscay just outside of Nantes, France.
Measuring nearly 425 feet (130 meters) in length the curving skeleton mirrors the curves of the nearby Saint-Nazaire bridge and was created as a permanent work for the final Estuaire contemporary art exhibition in 2012.

As a matter of fact, the Princess Rhaenyra has just informed me of her desire to marry her sons Jace and Luke to Lord Corlys’s granddaughters, Baela and Rhaena.
+ bonus: everyone looking at King Viserys and Jace staring at Baela

House of the Dragon Lore!
According to Fire & Blood, every single member of the court is intensely horny for Harwin Strong. Regardless of sexuality, relationship status, or political faction, any person to go within a hundred yards of the Red Keep or otherwise encounter Harwin Strong’s beautiful, beautiful eyes is described as invariably head-over-heels in love with Ser Harwin. Here’s a couple of quotes from the text and surrounding sources:
“Like, I’m straight,” the King is reported to have said, “but I get it, dude. I definitely get it… I wish he carried me like that.”
- King Viserys I Targaryen, after the wedding of Laenor and Rhaenyra, as described by Septon Eustace, Fire & Blood Chapter XIIS: The Heirs of the Dragon Addendum - On How Hot Harwin Strong Was
“We actually had the budget for twelve episodes, but we just kept shooting shots of Ryan [Corr] over and over again. Altogether, spent ten million dollars on that. Directors, crew, writers, even - just letting the camera shoot, wasting film, standing around just staring - all of that. Three separate people proposed to Ryan on set. I’m still hoping he reconsiders and accepts mine.”
- Clare Kilner, director, House of the Dragon (2022) episodes 4 and 5
“I think it’s known that the first scene I ever wrote or imagined for A Song of Ice and Fire was when the Starks find the direwolves in book one, but what people don’t know is that the first character I ever conceived was Harwin Strong - well, back then he was Hot Harwin Strong, but eventually realized that the attractiveness was already implied enough in the name. When I first gave my publishers the book, in fact, they told me they couldn’t publish it - it was four hundred pages of an intricate, dark fantasy story and another thirteen hundred pages describing how hot Harwin Strong was and how everyone was attracted to him. So I had to cut out the parts about Harwin and that’s how we got A Game of Thrones. Luckily, however, that got popular enough that I can finally publish Harwin Strong: Hottest Knight in Westeros on its own. Winds may get delayed, but I think that’s a price we can all accept.”
- George R.R. Martin, author of the A Song of Ice and Fire series and the Harwin Strong Diaries: Firsthand Accounts of the Most Attractive Man Ever

no but it is amusing to see just who thinks that aemond going against "decency" by claiming vhagar at laena's funeral, insulting her memory to her daughters, physically hitting two highborn girls, verbally threatening to kill lucerys while choking him, mocking harwin's death, & physically threatening to kill jacaerys second in line to the iron throne is still an "aw but they could have just talked it out" situation
a lot of very sheltered ppl don't realize that you can get your ass beat as a consequence of your actions! imagine that
