Although we cannot deny the fact that astrology is very interesting and it may persuade us to consider its ideas into our lifestyle, the most important thing to remember is that astrology might potentially corrupt our perception of ourselves. If we feel like we are supposed to act or feel in a certain way, our natural state and belief might clash. We disregard the way we are brought up to be and our authentic selves which will result in self-doubt. Frighteningly, it may also lead to a prophecy of self-fulfillment, shifting our personalities, actions, and even processes of decision-making just to incline it to our astrological expectations.

Now we know that astrology is more like culture and it does not demonstrate its effectiveness in controlled studies, hence it has no scientific validity. So why live a life full of cliches which are ultimately derived from myths and stereotypes? When you can just be yourselves, in control of your destiny and dismissing the belief of fate purely based upon the heavens.

Although Astrology has been a triumph from its long history and has dramatically increased its popularity in this century, it is still highly criticized as it was in the past. In reality, most of the claims are rooted in this - apart from the lack of concrete and proven facts, it is also due to the many futile attempts to explain the natural world.

That being said, many have found its possibility to be important in predicting future circumstances and catastrophes, so some have taken this as an astrologer as a course of their careers. Even so, in the long run, it is still in the growth stage, making it harder for them to aspire than it used to be, where astrologers have high and prominent roles.

Nevertheless, it is still up to people’s opinions regarding this matter and whether or not they are willing to believe in it. Like what most religions do, is intended to also see reality from a different perspective and figuring out how it works. But isn't it similar to others? The only difference is it relies on the movements and positions of celestial bodies and how it influences the fate of humans, only lacking the openness and systematic practices, hence, its inferiority to other’s beliefs.
