To the people who experience sexual attraction: How do you define/identify that attraction? [Asking so people can have a reference for what sexual attraction might look like if they're questioning]
I feel a magnetic sexual pull towards specific people
I want to have sex with specific people
I want to see specific people naked
I feel aroused by specific people
I have sexual fantasies about specific people
I just intuitively know when I'm sexually attracted to someone
I have indicators to my sexual attraction which aren't listed here
All of the above
Multiple of the above, but not all

I’m curious because what I think I experience as romantic attraction happens in a very intense but disconnected way, so I’ll have zero romantic desire or even thoughts for the most part (also romance-repulsed, occasionally I have dreams about “dating” that only go as far as verbally acknowledging a relationship) but will want to be close platonically instead. For comparison any platonic attraction that develops is distinctly different and less intense and while friends with the person I’ll still crave something nebulous that doesn’t exist in my head. I’ve always considered this romantic attraction because it just felt romantic but the way people define attraction esp in allo circles makes me question things so!
Aspecs who experience romantic attraction, do you experience it with romantic desire and/or fantasies/thoughts?
Yes, arospec
Yes, other aspec
No (it’s just a feeling/manifests in another type of desire etc), arospec
No, other aspec

poll for science....
I'm curious because while my (low to average?) libido didn't increase at all, I'm simping fictional characters like when i was a teen (minus the puberty-induced horniness), and I crave non-sexual touch more than before. I also think about sex more, but like, still no sexual attraction, and without feeling my libido acting up (5+ months on T)
edit: ignore the "/sensual attraction" in the first option I forgot to delete it

Wait ignore the previous ask. I just recognized OP's url. Sorry I should've checked this
No worries, I can understand why you thought I'd mistagged! It's easy to miss urls.
You also weren't the only one to get mixed up so I've edited my reblog with a mention that the poll is meant for aces. Hopefully that'll save others from the same confusion!

Edit: In case anyone is confused by the tags or didn't notice OP's url- This poll is for aces! I should have thought to mention that earlier since urls/tags can be easy to overlook

Am I sex-favorable if I'm demi/graysexual and I've haven't had sex, but want to with someone I have a connection with, but sex-repulsed in every other circumstance?
I'd say it's a matter of whatever you feel works best for you! Including not using a label at all if they don't do anything to help you.
Though if neither feels quite right and you'd still like a word to use there is also the term "sex-ambivalent".
"Ambivalent is used to indicate that someone has mixed feelings towards sex or romance. This usually goes for those who don't have a consistent feeling towards romance or sex and for those that have their repulsion levels change based on situation."

Am I allowed to vote as a grey-ace too? I do feel sexual and romantic attraction, but just to very few people.
Of course!! You're on the asexual spectrum, and are therefore also aspec! Any polls aimed at aces/acespecs or the general aspec community include you. The only exception would be if a poll submitter specifies that their poll is intended for a specific group that does not include grey-aces.
Also I don't mean to assume that this is something you're unaware of, but just in case anyone reading this doesn't know exactly what I mean when I say "aspec", here is a definition taken from this post:
"a collection of queer spectrums centered around the lack of a certain attraction or identity. the most common spectrums under the aspec umbrella are asexual, aromantic, agender, and aplatonic, though there are many other ways to be aspec."

I'm never sure what sex-favorable means in the context of these polls. Does it mean you're okay with it in general (sex-positive), or that you like or are okay with having it yourself? Or something else?
Here are some good explanations of "Favorable" and "Positive" taken from the Aspec Terms Carrd!
"Favorable means that someone enjoys activities around or the concept of sex or romance. Favorable does not indicate that someone feels that kind of attraction, but instead is indicative of how an individual feels toward the concept of, activities around, or sex/romance itself."
"Positive is not the same thing as favorable. Being Sex or Romance Positive is not a personal feeling towards romance, but instead an attitude or opinion towards sex or romance in society. Being Sex or Romance Positive means encouraging conversations and positive representation around sex or romance."
So when someone says sex-favorable in a poll, they're referring to those that enjoy the activities around or the concept of sex! It can mean you're okay with having it yourself, but it doesn't always mean that. Hope that helped!
