Before Dajjal appears there will be three difficult years in which the people will suffer severe famine. In the third year, he will command the sky to withhold all of its rain, and not a single drop will fall, and the earth to withhold all of its produce, and nothing will grow. All cloven-hoofed animals will die, except those that Allah wills...

Sunan Ibn Majah 4077

Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) visited Umm Sa'ib or Umm Musayyib and said:

Umm Sa'ib or Umm Musayyib. why is it that you are shivering? She said:" It is fever and may it not be blessed by Allah, whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Don't curse fever for it expiates the sin of the children of Adam just as furnace removes the alloy of iron.

جابر بی۔ عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ام سائب یا ام مسیب رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس گئے اور فرمایا:

ام سائب یا ام مسیب؟ تم کیوں کانپ رہے ہو اس نے کہا: یہ بخار ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر برکت نہ کرے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بخار کو بددعا نہ دو کیونکہ یہ بنی آدم کے گناہوں کو اس طرح مٹا دیتا ہے جس طرح بھٹی لوہے کے مرکب کو نکال دیتی ہے۔

The Holy Quran says:

حَتَّى‏ إِذَا جَآءَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارْجِعُونِ‏ * لَعَلِّى أَعْمَلُ صَلِحاً فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ كَلَّا إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَآئِلُهَا وَمِن وَرَآئِهِم بَرْزَخٌ إِلَى‏ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ‏

Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. (23:99-100)

Interesting how these two verses are from separate Surah but go hand-in-hand with each other.

Basically, "Your hands and feet will bear witness against whatever good or bad it has led to..."

"Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned.

{ لَا یُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَعَلَیۡهَا مَا ٱكۡتَسَبَتۡۗ...}

[Surah Al-Baqarah: 286]

That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.

{ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ نَخۡتِمُ عَلَىٰۤ أَفۡوَ ٰ⁠هِهِمۡ وَتُكَلِّمُنَاۤ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَتَشۡهَدُ أَرۡجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَكۡسِبُونَ }

[Surah Yā-Sīn: 65]"
