I’ve just listened to Darkside by Shinedown and it got me thinking
Firstly, the song gives off Bad Guys vibes
Secondly, what if Surge and Kit were dead and Starline brought them to life
I’m sure there were details that prove this theory wrong but I can’t remember anything so I post the thought
Somebody must have already said the same thing, I just haven’t seen-

So how did that thought come to my mind
Lately I've been thinking, "What if they brought Starline back,
(You know it'll be great when it starts like "What if they brought Starline back". Everyone would be mad if that happened, me too, but nevertheless)
...so, what if he lost his memory, was found & saved and started a new life. Like Mr. Tinker, y'know? I think it'd be fun-
It was raining and I was thinking that Starline would have troubles falling asleep during thunderstorms because they reminded him of something bad. That's it.
It's raining and I'm thinking
Surge and Kit are like thunderstorm
Surge is thunder and lightning and Kit is pouring rain
What do you think of the thought
Sonic and Tails are the opposite, like sunny wearher, if you will. Clear sky and fresh wind

Sleepy Writing Prompts 🌙
Feel free to modify those as you wish, no crediting needed, but I still will be glad if you tag me on your piece! Any feedback will be appreciated </3
Staying up late to not make the other one finish their work on their own. Being determined, yet slowly fall asleep by their side…
Staying up late together to the point both of you can’t help laughing at the silliest things.
The other one is getting some good sleep for the first time in weeks. What worried them has become the past, and you’re going to take care of them while they regain their resources.
Two of us can’t get to sleep this night, so we’re killing time texting each other.
Staying up late to watch stars/an astronomical event and eventually turning it into a date.
Telling the other one that you had a dream featuring them, but it’s early morning and you’ve just woken them up.
Not getting to sleep before the other one is by your side, especially in a new place

Writing prompts for one character 🏵️
When there’s no one else around
They look at themselves in the mirror and notice changes
They tidy up their room/workspace
They look through their old stuff, like childhood toys
They write a letter to someone
They spend time out in the nature
They go on a sightseeing tour
They try a new hobby, which they prefer to hide from their friends
They can’t get to sleep and do random things out of boredom
They cook a meal for themselves or go to a cafe
They wait for someone to come and get ready
They are in a usually crowded place when there’s no one, like a playground in the night
They sing when no one hears
They prepare a gift for someone
They take a break from work and rewind in their own way
Feel free to use and change, no crediting needed, but tagging me on your pieces and any other feedback is appreciated!

Maybe your story doesn’t have to be a novel?
It took me so long to realise- I hope I’m not the only one to who it’s a revelation
Smaller forms of writing are as valid, readable, loveable etc. as bigger ones. If you only have idea for a short story, write a short story
If you explore themes that only worry you in your writing, or even write unserious things only for fun, it’s valid as well
That one novel idea that haunts you since childhood doesn’t have to be a full-length 100k words novel if you only want to write the 10k words interesting part. It’ll feel different, but you can still have fun writing it, you can like it as well as readers
If the amount of resources needed to write your story intimidates and paralyses you, consider squeezing it, letting go of less important details. It’ll feel different, but you’ll still be able to feel happy while writing and finishing it
If you want to spend time with characters of a finished story, you don’t have to create an entire sequel with a whole new plot. You can let characters do silly things and write a short piece about it. I once wrote such piece accidentally for a writing challenge and it was so much fun! I had been waiting for so long to write about those characters, but hadn’t wanted to come up with a big plot, and it turned out no big plot was needed!
Write short, write silly, just write if you want to!

I don’t know how to flirt either but I’d advise to 1) look closely at the situation. What goal the flirt has, is it genuine, what result it should have, is the atmosphere of the scene serious or not, innocent or not etc.; 2)look closely at the characters. Are they used to flirting, what are their relationships, how would they react etc.
As you think about situation you may come up with some specific things you want your characters to say/do
3)look up “best pick up lines” on google and think which of them suit your characters and situation and why/why not? How can you change them to suit more? What are the things your flirting character would point out? What are ones that would make the other character react the way you want?
Basically you just sit down and look at your scene until something not terrible comes to your mind, good luck!
Trying to write flirting when I don't know how to do it myself 😭

I hope you don’t mind if I share my own experience of writing fanfiction! I’ll tell how to prepare to this significant first time in your life:
Outlining is your friend. Think of the story you want to tell - it may be short, may be just one scene of characters talking, and it’s good to exercise a bit and stop feeling embarrassed - and write the idea down in a few sentences. Then you can add details as you come up with things that would make the story special, things that you have already found the words for, things that you like and want to write!
Yes, liking the idea is important. If you love the idea, you are more likely to write the piece!
Find some inspiration, a song that sets the mood. That One Song was the thing that helped me finish my first fanfic one year after I started it, so you can trust me, songs are powerful stuff.
Find a person to support and encourage you to write. Someone who you can write for is a great inspiration, especially one that you can talk to to discuss problems you meet as you write. I can be that person btw, dm me if you want some support on your way :3
So you’ve got an outline and a lot of inspiration and confidence. Time to get to actual writing. I’m not sure if I can give any useful advice at this point since you can have various problems depending on many things, for instance, have you happened to write fiction in general before or not.
Good luck writing, and I’d be happy to provide you with more advice if needed as soon as you request it :3
I’ve been itching to write some fanfiction lately. It would be my first time. But I don’t know where to start. If anyone has any fun prompts or tips, feel free to unload them on me.

Intro Post
Hi, I hope you’re having a nice day <3 Welcome to my blog <3
Everyone is safe and welcome here 🧡 (except for basic DNI) I am Alexa Zucchie and I’m a writer, um, I write sometimes, but mostly I daydream about writing, plus to this day my English isn’t good enough to write something serious in it, but one day I hope I’ll be able to write and post some nice pieces!
I always look for new friends and acquaintances, so please dm me anything or ask me via my ask box anytime, I’d be so happy to interact with y’all cool people of tumblr <3
Also I’m up for role playing to improve my English and make friends! Dm me if you happen to be interested in original rp <3
My ask box is open for anything, again (but keep in mind I’m a minor), you may even ask me for some writing prompts — since I’ve been called ‘extremely imaginative scenarist’ several times, I believe I can help you! Also if you’re bored and/or interested in my writing you can give me any number from 1 to 215 — I have a numbered list of writing ideas and I’d be happy to share some.
I'm into like two fandoms, Sonic the hadgehog (mainly IDW comic) and Lego Monkie Kid, I'd love to chat about them and am thinking about creating side blogs for them (upd: I've decided I will just post fandom stuff here from time to time :3)
If you have in mind some type of writing content that you’d like to see more often on tumblr, feel free to suggest it in comments, I’ll post something to fulfil your wish <3
That’s all! Thank you very much for reading this far, and have a great day! 🧡

What about:
If a character is very emotional, their POV would contain a lot of exclamation marks and emotional reaction phrases like “damn” or “oh dear”
If a character is insecure, always overthinks things and tries to predict other people’s reactions to them, their POV would contain a lot of questions and words like “[it] would/should/could”, “probably/perhaps”
If a character is really passionate (or just spends a lot of time on it) about their job/hobby, their POV would contain a lot of slang and metaphors based on comparing things/events with something related to their job/hobby
If a character is weird, their POV would contain twisted metaphors, hyperbolizing (for instance, they would consider a stranger suspicious and describe them with insanely shining eyes, creepy grinning and so on), and such metaphors would be long and comprehensive, containing weird references to mythologic monsters or something like that. It would sound different from other prose due to long sentences and unusual lexicon.
Another character would not finish their sentences as their thought develop, they would just stop in the middle and move on to another object.
Hope that helps! Feel free to play around with these ideas ^w^
Hello I make poor life choices and am writing a book with too FUCKING many POVs.
I want to make all the voices distinct. I've accomplished this with two of them, but have run out of voices I can easily tap.
Who's got good tutorials and whathaveyou about making prose voicey?

I was just passing by but i think i could give some advice!
The easiest way is to make one of the characters or a book tell a story about god (or any other character). It could be a quick rundown of how a god created the world, humans, etc, or a legend of god defeating one of their enemies. Main characters just have to listen to that story/to read it, and boom! your readers know what god can do and what are they like.
And now i can’t really come up with other ways to introduce the god?? Because the story told by someone is the best way
The god is probably an important part of the story so i hope you’ll find a nice way to weave the myth revealing its lore into your story!
Hope it helps! And btw if you’ll ever need more advice for writing scenario stuff, ask me, i always will to help <3 (also sorry if my English is not very good!! Working on it)
Heyheyhey so does anyone have any advice for writing characters who don’t actually appear in the comic? Specifically gods? I want the reader to have an idea of what the god is like without actually meeting them
ok goodbye hasheheh
